@so-nora
women of color? a blessingÂ
You see my dear, love is weird, it makes you believe in lies. It tells you if you stretch your arms a bit more you will reach for the stars, it tells you if you hold your hands tighter, and wish stronger, it will snow in the summer. you see my dear, maybe love is the devil is disguise. Maybe it was the reason you did things you shouldnât have done, for people you shouldnât have let in, because of hopes you shouldnât have clung into. you see my dear, maybe you should be more careful with love from now on.

By the way, do you know the joys of being alone, walking alone, lying in the sun alone?

Sometimes, you just have to get a little bit lost until you end up where you want to be.

To the 5% of people in Arizona who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 11 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
To the 3% of people in Florida who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 29 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
To the 5.5% of people in Michigan who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 16 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
To the 5% of people in New Hampshire who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 4 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
To the 3.3% of people in Pennsylvania who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 20 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
To the 5.7% of people in Wisconsin who voted 3rd party- if you had voted for Hillary, thatâs 10 electoral votes that would have gone to her.
Total, that is 90 electoral votes. As I type this, Hillary needs 61 to win.
Please just let that sink in for a second.Â
Hillary wouldâve been elected right now, at this very moment, if instead of you protesting your vote, had just voted for her. She would  EASILY be President.Â
You KNEW 3rd party candidates didnât stand a chance. You were told. But instead, you had to vote for them anyways, and guess what?
You screwed us over. Congratulations.
I hope that feeding your âboth candidates are badâ superiority complex is worth a Trump presidency.Â
So far youâve survived 100% of your worst days. Youâre doing great.
a gentle reminder (via serious)
You all need to understand the kind of people that are emboldened in Trumpâs America. Here we have someone who is from the highest plane of privilege (a straight white man) telling me (a person of color, a woman and an immigrant) that entire marginalized groups of peopleâs experiences are invalidated because he doesnât think it exists. Because he has never had to experience or endure racial-based harassment.
How ironic is it that my feelings are being invalidated and trivialized on a post about harassment?
Itâs even more ironic when you take into account that this specific person has actively tried to hurt me (physically as well as emotionally) in middle school. This is one of the bullies I have had to face in the past crawling back out of the woodwork.
Yes, I am calling them out. No, I will not censor any of it.
I refuse to stay silent any longer about this kind of unacceptable and intolerable behavior.
This is Day 3 in Trumpâs America.
Never tell me my experiences arenât real when you are so privileged that youâll never have to even understand what we must tell ourselves to prepare for every day. That we breathe a sigh of relief when nothing happens and that we grit our teeth in response when it does.
Updates đ reported, unfriended and blocked đđ» These white people can justify themselves as not being racist to each other all they want. Theyâll never justify it to me. Especially not when one of them explicitly tried to make my life hell in middle school.
Each fall, millions of North American monarch butterflies migrate to California and Mexico for winter. They make a massive journey (up to 4,830 kilometers/3,000 miles) and use the sun to ensure that they stay on course. On cloudy days Earthâs magnetic field as a kind of backup navigational system.
