Hey guys!

So my nonbinary girlfriend Chani recently enrolled into a hair and beauty school, but has recently dropped out because of white supremacists/ neo nazi sympathisers making the school an unsafe learning environment for her. Already over half the students of that class have also dropped out. Out of personal safety and to avoid any legal conflict, the names of the school and it’s administrators have been redacted out by myself. Please do not seek them out, as we do not want any more trouble with them!

But essentially, we thought her student aid would cover all of the cost and then we were suddenly told we had to pay a remaining balance of 1,581.82$ to the school itself effective immediately. We don’t have anywhere near this money, and we both have unstable, low-wage jobs (her as an occasional dog sitter and myself as a part-time movie ticket salesman) that pay barely enough for just rent and food.

If you guys are willing to help me out, that would be so generous!! My girlfriend has tried to email all the administrators since 17 Aug but hasn’t gotten any response back. So we don’t know when the due date for the payment is before being sent to collections, or whether or not we have to pay it in full or have the option to pay it in segments. She has already maxed out her student loans, so there’s nothing we can do about this debt, unfortunately.

I’m very sorry for asking, but we don’t want this to be sent to collections as this would ruin us, and also the fact we enjoy to eat food over paying for school costs!!
