People who comment “is it that deep?” under videos of media analysis irritate me soo much because, duh, they’re making an analysis, it has to be that deep otherwise there would be no analysis to make. You’re watching a video where someone says, “this a deeper way of interpreting something I noticed” and replying with, “you’re wrong because I don’t want to engage with what you’re saying”. If you don’t want to engage with it then keep scrolling, don’t give a person whose entire platform is seeing if it’s that deep grief for it being deeper than you thought.
