Yes, I do. How are you?

Today, SobrietyMatters turns 5 years old. I celebrated FIVE years sober on February 15th, 2017. My life has been a bit hectic lately, as my husband of 30 years has been diagnosed with the final stages of a fatal disease. We have embraced his eminent death with as much grace and love as possible.

I’m forever grateful for all who read this tumblr. I’ve been encouraged over the years by many who have shared their struggles and successes.

Please know that although I cannot devote the time I’d like to here at SobrietyMatters...my thoughts and prayers will always be with all of you. The struggle is real, God is real, and sobriety matters. Love and hugs, Carrie.

Always remember with the Lord in your life that your present situation is not your final destination. When we have God on our side we never have to worry or be anxious about anything. His word tells us that, “Greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world.” You can always trust in Him.
