Fiorentina’s Kouame 2020 football shirt
The 26-year-old Ghana international, Christian Kouamé spent his entire playing career in Italy, starting from the Inter academy in 2010, going on to Livorno, Sampdoria and since the summer of 2015 at Sassuolo.
Fiorentina has agreed to a €10m plus bonus deal for Genoa striker Christian Kouame.
Genoa has a 10% sell-on percentage fee clause in the agreement and bonus clauses that could take the overall fee northwards of €15m.
He’s a fantastic young prospect who’s already proven to be a useful forward in Serie A. He’s a complete striker, possessed of pace, technique, aerial prowess, versatility, and a cool head in front of goal.
Those qualities are why he’d bagged 5 goals and 3 assists in 11 Serie A matches before blowing out his cruciate ligament on international duty with the Côte d’Ivoire U23s in November, which means he’ll be out until summer and thus unavailable for the remainder of the year.
Kouame is yet to play a game since November 12, and he is currently recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament he suffered during the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Author of remarkable performances in the last two seasons in the Genoa tunic (13 goals and 13 assists in 55 Serie A games), the Ivorian international striker has committed himself in the form of a six-month loan matched with a mandatory purchase option and a three-year contract.
Fiorentina’s Kouamé 2020 home jersey uses the same le coq Sportif football shirt design as the club’s previously revealed four away kit range. It has a modern rounded neckline with a chest and meshed chest and shoulder area.
