it’s been a busy weekend for our societieshq kids , but we’re BACK ! we’ve got an activity check and ACCEPTANCES tomorrow , so come take a look around ! we’re finishing up our first event , and while i knock out some homework –– and replies –– i’ll be on to answer any questions you guys may have !

heck yeah, meme night will be every wednesday and rotate between timezones. the main will reblog ( and occasionally make our own ) themed prompts, and every member who hits ask limit will be rewarded with special in character prizes !

as of right now, i’d love some harbingers of chaos, someone who is truly, really, good. i’d love to see more tech savy characters, people who know their way around a book, i’d love some more jocks– maybe a group of them that could be added to the patrol! give me a character like grizz, who wanted nothing more than to just start over in college– but now they’re stuck in limbo. give me someone who was planning on bolting out of halloway the second they got a chance, give me some heartbreakers who now have to settle for who’s left behind. give me some party crazies, who show up late for their shift, and are never on time for anything but a good drink! i’d love some hard workers too, on that note. someone that is excited to rebuild society as their own, someone who is looking to swipe the leadership crown from under everybody’s noses—– have i gotten carried away yet ?

i really hope this doesn’t come across as rude because i don’t mean it to be at all, but wouldn’t this be the third time that admin b has changed the faceclaims for one of her muses? will you guys be changing the rule regarding fc changes and character dropping to reflect that? just because otherwise i feel like it just seems like a bit of a double standard. admins should have to follow rules too.
ALRIGHT ! –– so , admin b here ! first i’d like to clarify the character/fc rule … you are allowed to switch your faceclaim or character TWICE . which means in total , it’s possible for a character to go through three faceclaims . secondly , i’ve only changed mine once . ( bridget satterlee to sydney sweeney ! ) admin chey recently changed one of her faceclaims once as well . ( carlson young to madison iseman ! ) we have one member who is not me despite having the same alias who has changed their fc twice , but we’re monitoring that as well . rest assured , there are three of us for a reason , and we hold each other accountable for following the SAME RULES our members do . i understand that this was maybe a misunderstanding , but please come to one of us if there’s an issue . the admin team is here to help with issues like this , and logging on to see that someone thinks that i think i’m above the rules was kind of a bummer ! ok love you ALL thanks !!

so our opening night went smoothly and beautifully and the dash just brought me so much joy !! i want to take a moment again to thank our amazing new members for joining in on our new society and starting things up with so mmuch energy !! as for those still in the tags, looking for a new and active community, feel free to check out our PLOT and send in any QUESTIONS you may have !! we will be accepting new applications this monday and would be just thrilled to have some new writers hop on board !! with that, katie is out and i do wish you all the most amazing day !!
it seems like a lot of people are in a discord without the rest of the group. will you make a sanctioned group discord so that people don't feel left out?
okay , so !! the matter of discord is addressed in this post here . we haven’t yet decided if we’re going to have a group discord , however a lot of people posted their discords with their intros or swapped them in ims for plotting purposes . if you’re referring to me being d r a g g e d on the dash ooc for being a doofus ooc , rest assured those are not from a group , but from separate discord conversations . i can promise you that we would never make a discord without making sure everyone was in it . like i said , we’ll likely be posting a poll about whether or not to have one within the next few days ! we just want to make sure activity stays on the dash for our opening event !
i know that your acceptances are on hold rn but i'm wondering what would happen if two of the apps in your inbox over the next few days have the same fc? i'm assuming it's first come first serve when they're all eventually accepted?
correct-o , bud !! while you’re more than welcome to send in apps NOW , they won’t be accepted until MONDAY , and faceclaims will be reserved in the order that apps are sent in for the sake of fairness ! if we get an app for two of the same fc , we’ll shoot you an im to give you a heads up if possible !
