mattel was so cheap they reused a 1976 Big Jim tiger mold a second time (previously for a jungle cat in their 1977 Tarzan set) for their panthor and battle-cat figs, and since there was a huge proportional size diff between the 9” big jim and 6” motu fig they just slapped a saddle on the cats and called it a day

also they’re classified as “vehicles” and i think thats pretty funny
