really glad about the new fans tbh
@Specter
So..the trick dog treatment again? Well, it was an only way to prevent suspicion. If he did anything to him right now, heâll only resist it..but if he is offguard, then maybe..when before the hour strikes, he could work it in, however he would have to be extremely careful.
"Very well," he calmly replied. "An hour. No more, no less,â
Mentally, he had his fingers crossed..
"Good with me!" Sock beamed in triumph, then turned his eyes up towards his new business partner.Â
"So, what'll it be? Scrub your bathroom tiles? Off some enemies?"
@Specter
Specter darkly grinned as his back was turn as he stopped in place and before long, he turned himself around with a dignified look as he replied,âYou have to make yourself available for anything for me, no matter the task,â
The albino had his way with manipulation. He done it several times before so this concept isnât exactly foreign to him..if the human refuses, well, he would have to persuade him, doesnât he?
"Well, my schedule's pretty wide open, soâŠ" Sock hopped off the bench, starting to grin; it wasn't as if he himself had too many reserves, so whatever it was would probably be within his moral range. Now it was time for him to set his terms.Â
"So in return, I get to grab the reins on your mind-powers forâŠan hour. Deal?"
@Specter
Oh, well now..Sock was getting ahead of himself. Itâs almost like he would do anything for him. This is good..perhaps he can easy manipulate this situation to his advantage to sort of tug on Sock to ensure a secure connection to this..sudden eager.
"Well, itâs nothing much to ask but..oh of course, why am I asking? It would be too much for you! Might as well take my leave," he replied as he got up from the bench and slightly walk off.
..he was only messing around to see the reaction of the other. Hopefully, it will be the sign he wanted.
"What do you want me to do, kill somebody?" That was the biggest favor Sock could really imagine, and, wellâŠhe wouldn't be opposed to it. He could always chalk it up to peer pressure (although he wasn't sure he'd count this guy as a "peer." He had the intensity of, like, a CEO or business shark or something.)
Do you like Ape Escape?
{unfortunately I haven't played it yet!}
@Specter
Great.. well, maybe if itâs on someone else..
Mentally grumbling, the albino thought over some before he looked up to Sock with a grin to humor the boy and asked,â..okay, if I do so, what do I get in return?â
"What do you want? Cash? Want me to mow your lawn?"
{â}Â âBoxes of them are pretty cheap..we could split one, if youâd like.â
"Sure, as long as I get an orange one. The purple ones--what are they supposed to be, grape?--they're gross."
{â} Aggressively fans herself. âEhh, I could really use an ice pop right now..â
"Did someone say ice pop? Count me in!"
@Specter
"Yes and I can do more than that but Iâm not someoneâs trick dog,â he replied as the purple aura disappeared from the knife. âI only did it for demonstrative measures, nothing more,â
"Come on, not even a little one? How 'bout a twister? Eh? Whaddaya say?"
Sock bounced up and down on the bench, his enthusiasm clearly visible. Seriously, why not? If this guy could do it, Sock didn't see why he wouldn't grab the opportunity to cause some serious mayhem.
hitting the shops || open
Narrowing his eyes at his reflection, Sock turned his leg left and right in the mirror, trying to figure out if he liked the blue-and-orange socks he'd picked out. For some reason, the socks had been particularly hard to get out of the package--what, did they think he'd just buy them without trying them on in the store? He wasn't an idiot.
Unable to make up his mind, he glanced around and saw another customer standing nearby. "Can I get your opinion on these socks?" he asked, sticking out his leg for them to view.
@Specter
The other sighed as he said,âTake a moment to evaluate just how itâs possible,â
It was then that he focused at the knife intently, allowing for his psychic prowess to do the demonstration; a mysterious purple aura enveloped around the knife as he telekinetically motioned it left then right and to not injure Sock.
..even as much he wants to injure him right now but that temper of his: he had to keep it in check.
The knife suddenly moved in Sock's hands, and he stared as it took on a life of its own. His wide eyes flicked up to Specter. "Are you doing that? What else can you do? Cause earthquakes with your mind?"
@Specter
You have got to be kidding me.
Specterâs eyelids dropped to halfway as he looked rather unintimidated at not only the Feds but also Sockâs kitchen knife. He asked,âDo you know how vulnerable that knife is in overall structure even as the blade of it is a metal?â
"Vulnerable?" Sock squinted at his trusty kitchenware. "I mean, I figure a knife's gotta be less vulnerable than whatever it's cutting, right?" He looked at Specter with genuine curiosity, unaware of how pissed off his new acquaintance was getting.
@Specter
No. NO. NO!
"What makes you think Iâll tell my plans to you, a stranger that I had recently met?" he questioned. "Granted I have my ambitions but that still brings no excuse for anyone else to find out,"
Heâs not going to make the same mistake as he did before..
Sock pulled out the kitchen knife he carried around with him and began toying with it, wondering if the guy was going to get violent. If so, anything Sock did would be in self defense--right? "I'm not going to go tattling to the Feds, if that's what you're worried about," he said.
@Specter
Oh, he didnât, yes he did!
âDonât get smart with me now! I know what to do! Besides, I wasnât born yesterday and I have the intellect to strategize ahead, thank you,â he snapped back at the other.
Specter always had a short-fuse when it came to these things and by how Sock was pushing him the wrong way, he was already on thin ice! Literally.
"Hey, calm down, it was a suggestion! You always blow your fuse so fast?" Sock asked, still not taken aback by the guy's anger. "Well what's your plan, if you've got it all figured out?"
welcome to hell fanart from frickin 2010!!
@Specter
"Indeed, itâs absolute chaos," he replied, still annoyed at the other. "Itâs been since the first human society arose and it only got worse over the years,"
"Yowch."Â
"Maybe you should try and start up an anarchy, y'know?"
