Chapter 21 (Final)
You wake up to the sound of the shower running, the steady trickling of water pulling you gently from your slumber. For a few short seconds you're disoriented and don't know where you are. Groggily, you rise up into a seating position, dragging the end of the blanket up with you and holding it to your bare chest. Glancing around the unfamiliar bedroom, your eyes fall back to the bed and at the empty place beside you. Slowly the events of last night catch up to you and the heat rises to your cheeks.
"Oh my god" the worlds slip from your mouth, barely above whisper.Â
Like a movie on rewind, the last twelve hours flicker through your mind. The party, Eric, Jungkook pulling you away, Jungkook kissing you and so much more. You close your eyes and shake your head, still in disbelief and not being able to register everything. Clutching the blanket closer to your chest, you glance briefly over to the en-suite where the bathroom and the toilet is located. It didnât take a genius to figure out where Jungkook is.
A thousand questions run through your mind, swarming you. How long has Jungkook been awake for? What is he thinking? Does he regret last night? What happens now? Does this change things or do you go back to being just friends?
Your initial happiness wavers as a dark cloud settles over you and rationality comes back to you. Last night was beyond anything you could have ever imagined or dreamed of. What would you do if Jungkook says that last night was just a once off? Or worse, what if he says last night was a mistake? Could you really go back and forget everything that has happened and settle with being just friends with him?Â
A sound from the en-suite catches your attention and you jerk your head up, ears alert and listening for any sound of Jungkook. Luckily, the steady stream of water running is the only thing you hear. Your shoulders sag and you let out a sigh of relief, however there is no time to relax. Spurred into action, you propel yourself out of the bed, determined to find your clothes and get dressed before Jungkook can come out. You didnât want to face him naked.
You look around the floor of Jungkookâs bedroom for your dress and underwear and itâs at this moment that you remember that Jungkook had removed them in the lounge room. They were most likely still on the floor by the couch. Feeling a slight chill creep up your arms, you spot a plain grey zip-up jacket draped on the back of a chair and decide to put it on for the time being, at least until you get your dress and your things. The jacket was extremely soft, from numerous washes and it smelt of a mixture of Jungkookâs cologne and his washing detergent. You pause only for a second to breath it in, allowing yourself a short moment to yourself.
Pulling it over your head and letting it settle over you, you find your purse at the base of the bed, the clasp having fallen open and its contents scattered over the floor. Not wanting to waste time, you crouch down onto your knees and pick up your purse with one hand. With the other you begin to collect your things and shove them hastily back into your purse. Your head reaches out for your lip balm, but it accidentally knocks it, sending it flying underneath the bed, disappearing from view.
Cursing under your breath, you drop down lower onto your elbows and peer beneath the bed, stretching your hand out before you to see if you can reach the lip balm. However, rather than your lip balm, your hand brushes against something else. Something that feels very much like a box. Furrowing your brows in curiosity as to why Jungkook, you wrap your hand around it and pull it out.
You never had a brother however you had spent much of your youth growing up around boys, Jungkook being one of them and most of the time, if a boy had a box underneath their bed, it was usually full of pornographic magazines or movies. The idea of Jungkook, a mid twenty year old adult male, hiding porn beneath his bed as though he were still a teenager makes you smile and you stifle a laugh.Â
The right thing to do would be to put the box back and not snoop, however your curiosity was too much to ignore. Besides, the small perverse side of you is interested to see what kind of pornography Jungkook was into. Just a little peak canât hurt. You assure yourself, removing the lid.
Surprisingly, itâs not porn that you find. In fact, you arenât entirely sure what is in the box. At first glance, the contents appear to be a bunch of old movie receipts and letters. Disappointed that it isnât anything embarrassing, you go to replace the lid when your eyes catch a snippet of a letter, placed at the top of the box.Â
A name. Thatâs all you see but itâs enough to make your entire body stop.
Slowly, you put the lid back down and reach for the letter. The knot in your stomach tightens and something in you screams for you to stop but, stupidly, you chose to ignore it. Scanning your eyes across the letter, you begin to read the delicate cursive handwriting.
Jungkook,
You are my entire world.
Do you know that youâre the reason I got into painting?
I donât know if you remember but it was at my twelfth birthday party. My father had invited all of his business associates and whilst he was busy mingling, I sat by myself in the corner of the room, staring at my shoes. That was when you had approached me, with all the confidence in the world and ordered me to open the present that you handed to me. Do you remember what it was?
It was a water colour palette.
You smiled at me and it was the most dazzling thing I had ever seen. I remember going home that day and staying up all night, learning how to paint with water colours until I finally managed to paint your smile.
Do you know why it is that I only paint landscapes?
Because your face is the only portrait I have ever wanted to paint.Â
Love, always and forever
Mina xx
You re-read the last line again, the tears you didn't realise you had been crying, clouding your vision. With trembling hands, you drop the letter back into the box, wishing that you had never opened it.Â
You swallow back the lump in your throat and breathe slowly.
Jungkook and Mina were in a relationship.
The realisation settles over you like a thick, heavy blanket, weighing you down. You had been suspicious about their relationship for a while and now you finally had the answer, although truthfully, a part of you wishes that you were still clueless.
You were so out of it that you almost donât register the sound of the shower turning off until it is too late. Pulling yourself together, you hurriedly shove the box back under the bed. Thereâs no way you can face Jungkook now, not after having read that letter. No, the best thing for you to do right now is to leave. You needed time.
Picking up your purse from the ground as you get to your feet, you race out of the bedroom before Jungkook can see you, stopping only once in the lounge room to collect your dress and slip on your underwear, thankful that Jungkook was at least a head taller than you and that his clothes were incredibly baggy, letting you get away with not wearing any pants.
You donât look back as you close the apartment door behind you.
--
Your phone vibrates a millisecond before the screen lights up and Jungkook's caller ID pops up onto your Home screen, as though announcing himself loudly to the world. With a speed and precision that would make any hand-eye coordination competitor jealous, you whip your hand out to your phone resting on the table, on top of your  wallet - your lunch momentarily abandoned - and switch it off before Eric can notice. Unfortunately, judging from his raised eyebrow and slightly amused expression, you know that your efforts were for nothing.
"Avoiding someone?" He asks, the corner of his mouth titling up. Eric had seen Jungkook's caller ID pop up onto your screen and your dramatic response and the fact that you had ignored the call, intrigued him greatly. Especially seeing as how you had not uttered a word about where you and Jungkook had disappeared off too the other night at the function but from the blush on your cheek and stuttered response when he brought the subject up earlier, he already had an incling.Â
"Nope, not avoiding anyone" you lie and pick up your fork, twirling a strand of pasta around it and making a show of being interested in your meal. You had ordered a plate of creamy chicken and mushroom pasta from the local cafe where you and Eric were currently taking your lunch break but the food didn't settle in your stomach. In fact lately nothing seemed to agree with you as of late. You figure that maybe you were coming down with a bug, seeing as it is flu season and a nasty bug was going around the office. Â
Your phone vibrates and lights up again but this time signalling that a message has been received. Like before, you ignore your phone and continue to play with your food, whatever appetite you had officially gone, which is a shame because you had barely gotten though half of your lunch.
Eric, who is doing a terrible job of hiding his amusement, gestures towards your phone with a nod of his head. "Must be urgent" He comments and it's on the tip of your tongue to tell him he's mistaken when your phone vibrates once more, another text message.
At this juncture, you start to consider the possibility that Eric is right. It wasn't like Jungkook to call and then send two messages, so close together. Maybe something had happened?
Ignoring the wicked grin on Eric's face, you place down your fork and unlock your phone. You find that thereâs one missed call from Jungkook and two text messages. You open up your messages and are surprised to see that none of the messages are actually from Jungkook. A twinge of disappointment hits you involuntarily.
"Is everything alright?" Eric asks, noticing your expression, his voice losing a bit of the teasing humour "Who are the messages from?"
You push down the surge of disappointment and annoyance takes its place. You're annoyed at yourself for feeling disappointed that the messages werenât from Jungkook. Of course they wouldn't be. Why would he message you when you've been avoiding his calls since that night?Â
"It's nothing" you reply, cooly. "It's just Jungkook's grandpa" You tell Eric as you quickly skim through the short lines of text. "He wants me to come over for dinner tomorrow night"
"Sounds exciting. I take it Jungkook will be there too?"
"I'm not sure. Probably...maybe" you place your phone back onto the table, this time flipping it so that the screen faced down. You make a mental note to reply to Jungkook's grandpa later on with an excuse to say you're busy.
There must have been something in your tone of voice because Eric studies you intently before finally giving in and throwing away his attempt at being subtle "Okay, what is going on between the two of you?" He asks outright. "I would've guessed that things would be different now but you've both been acting strange and evasive. What gives? Did something happen?"
"Nothing happened . And I'm not acting strange"
"Then why are you ignoring him?"
"I'm not ignoring him"
Eric scoffs at your lie "Yeah right and pigs can fly".
"Okay what the hell Eric?" You slam your palm against the table, annoyed. "Why am I the only one being interrogated here? Why aren't you hounding Jungkook?"
"Ah hah! So something did happen! I knew it" Eric exclaims.
You let out an exasperated sigh, wondering why you wasted your breath. Eric, for some reason, was on a hell-bent mission to play matchmaker between you and Jungkook and you know that he isn't likely to drop the subject. He was like a dog with a bone.
Although to be honest this worked in your advantage because Jungkook's relationship with Mina had been bothering you all day and no matter how much you tried, you couldn't shake it. Maybe Eric would know what had transpired between the two of them. What did you have to lose?
"What do you know about Jungkook's relationship with Mina?" You change the subject, making your voice as nonchalant as possible.Â
Eric had been preparing himself for a lot of things but he hadn't been expecting that. "Mina? Why do you want to know about her?"
"I didn't realise they dated" you keep your voice nonchalant, giving off the aura as though you didn't really care, so that Eric will tell you.
"I don't know if this is really my place to tell you.." he begins. "Maybe you should ask Jungkook?"
That was the last thing you were going to do. "I'm asking you because I can't ask Jungkook. He never tells me anything".  You don't have to fake the emotion in your voice because it's real. Mina has always been an off limit topic for him. In fact, other than Mina, you didn't even know if he had dated anyone else.
You must look very pitiful because Eric sighs in resignation. "Okay, I'll tell you but there isn't much. Jungkook didn't really share" He leans back in his chair and rubs his lower lip between his thumb and pointer. "They dated for a bit during university and then got engaged"
Your eyes widen in surprise and you lean forward, palms resting on the edge of the table. "Engaged? Jungkook had a fiance?" Why hadn't you known about this? Surely someone in the family would've mentioned it. Jungkook's grandpa? "So what happened?"
"No one knows really. One day they were engaged and the next they weren't. Jungkook never told me what happened but I'm certain she called it off because he was a mess. And then a few months later we find out that she's engaged to marry someone else. Some corporate big shot in America, I think".
It sounds like a melodrama and you struggle to wrap your head around his words. "That doesn't make sense" you mutter to yourself under your breath "It seemed like she really loved him..."
"What was that?" Eric asks, trying to catch what you said
"Huh? Oh nothing" you shake your head dismissing it. "I just said that must've been hard on Jungkook. Her being engaged to someone else"
No wonder he was still hung up on her
"Yeah but that was years ago" Eric pipes up, trying to lighten the mood and reassure you. "It's all in the past. Jungkook's over it. The person he likes now is you, not Mina"
"I wouldn't be too sure about that"
You stare down at your lunch and decide to throw the rest of it out.
--
Unfortunately for you, Grandpa Jeon would not take no for an answer. When you had called him earlier on in the day and faked an excuse about being extremely busy with your workload, he had threatened to call Jungkook and demand you be able to leave early, so that didnât go very well and you had no choice but to agree to come over for dinner.
The moment you had agreed to come to dinner, you had come up with the plan to avoid Jungkook as best as possible. You would avoid being alone in the same room as him and you would avoid any kind of communication. Sadly though, no no one else seemed to have gotten that memo because here you were now at grandpa Jeon's house, trying to ignore the man seated beside you, who seemed to have made it his personal mission to make it as hard as possible for you to ignore him.
His thigh brushes against yours as he leans back into his seat and stretches his legs, sending chills throughout your body. Had it not been for the fact that he was currently engaged in a conversation with his father about - you weren't entirely sure because for the past ten minutes you had been too aware of how close his leg had been to yours and how his jeans perfectly sculpted his legs - you would have thought this move was deliberate but seeing as how his speech didn't falter and he made no move to address you, you brush it off as a mere accident and shift over in your seat, putting some space between the two of you.
All night you had been on edge and it was starting to drive you crazy. From the moment Jungkook had slipped into the seat beside you, it had been as though your senses were heightened and you were aware of everything he did, be it whenever he leaned forward to pick up more food or whenever his arm brushed against yours.
What annoyed you most of all was that Jungkook didn't even seen phased at all. Whilst you squirmed in your seat, he remained perfectly calm and composed. Completely aloof. It wasn't fair.
As though he could sense that you had been thinking of him, his arm brushed against your shoulder and you inwardly scowl. Annoyed and a little bit frustrated at yourself, you pierced the pork and prawn dumpling on your plate with the end of your chopstick with more strength than required. The sound of your chopstick going straight through and hitting the plate resonated across the room with a loud thwack.
At this, Jungkook finally glanced over to you, a single eyebrow raised quizzically. You ignore him and shove the entire dumpling into your mouth, chewing savagely and venting out your annoyance on the delicious morsel. Damn him.
--
As soon as dinner was over, you jumped up from your seat and volunteered to clear the table and do the cleaning, propelling yourself into action and gathering up everyone's dishes before anyone could object. You retreated to the kitchen with an armful of plates as quickly as possible without giving off the impression that you were running away, even though that was exactly what you had been doing.
It had been easy to avoid Jungkook talking to Jungkook during dinner because everyone seemed to be in a talkative mood, except for you. However now that dinner was done and dusted, you figured that it would be only a matter of time before Jungkook cornered you and demanded to talk about that night, which was one particular conversation you weren't too thrilled to have. Ever.
You had already swept your memories of that night under a rug and threw away the key to that room. You hoped that Jungkook would do the same, especially since you had heard word from the gossip vine at work that his engagement to Areum was still on, despite him telling you otherwise. You had been so caught up with Mina that you had almost forgotten about Areum. So in truth, there was actually not one, but two women after Jungkookâs heart. There was no way you wanted to compete with that.
A stab of jealously pierces your heart at the memory and you quickly pushed it away.
You stop in front of the sink and gently deposit the dishes into one of the dual basins and reach for the tap when a hand wraps around your wrist, pulls you back and spins you around until your face to face with Jungkook who is standing an inch away from you. A surprised gasp escapes from your lips and your eyes widen in shock.
"We need to talk" is all he says before his hand drops from your wrist and clasps your hand securely in his. Without another word and despite your protests, Jungkook leads you out of the kitchen, up the stairs and pushes you into a room, closing the door behind him and placing himself between you and the door, blocking you in case you made an attempt to flee.
Flabbergasted at his behaviour, it takes you a while to realise that he's brought you into his old bedroom.
"What are doing?" You reprimand him in hushed tones, worried that someone might hear the two of you. "Are you crazy?"
Jungkook stares at you and you can see the frustration simmering behind his eyes.
Why the hell was he frustrated at you for?
"We need to talk". His tone of voice is serious and leaves no room for misinterpretation. A sense of dread fills you as your heart speeds up, your body getting ready to go into flight or fight mode. This is exactly what you have been dreading.
You had to get out of here, quick. "Can we talk about this later, I need to go home" you evade his question and steer the conversation away. You begin to walk around Jungkook but he stops you by holding out his arm.
"Why are you ignoring me?" He stares at you and you almost crumble under the intensity of his piercing, gaze.
"I'm not" You lie.
"You are and I want to know why"
"Look, there's really nothing to talk about. I mean why do we have to talk at all? That night was a mistake"
The air in the room immediately. Jungkook narrows his eyes and a muscle in his jaw tenses. "A mistake?" He repeats slowly, his tone of voice dripping in ice.
You swallow the lump in your throat. "Yes" You let out your breath of air and brace yourself for the words that are about to come out of your mouth . "You and I both know it never should've happened. I was confused and you were- you were - I don't know but I think it's best if we forget it even happened and go back to being friends"
This is clearly the wrong thing to say because immediately the tension in the room becomes almost palpable. However instead of scowling and getting angry, Jungkook surprises you when his eyebrow unfurl and his mouth twists into a mischievous smirk.
Jungkook lowers his arm slightly and takes a small step towards you, lowering his head so that he can speak directly into your ear. "What if I don't want to be your friend anymore?"
His voice sends shivers down your spine and a spark of desire. Damn him! You curse in your head. Why the hell is he making this so difficult for you?
"Look" you place a hand on his chest and take a step back. Immediately, you regret your decision because the moment your hand comes into contact with his chest, a memory flashes into your head from the other night. One that involved you licking your his chest and working your way down. You groan inwardly. Frustrated at both your traitorous body for reacting to everything and at Jungkook, for making you feel as though you really could have a chance with him. Your temper flares and you decide to end whatever game Jungkook is playing.
"You and I will never work. We both know that. So you can stop with this - with whatever this is". You fling your arm between the two of you.
The smirk drops from his face and the scowl is back with a vengeance  "And why the hell is that?"
This time you groan aloud, venting out your frustration. He's seriously making you spell it out for him, the ass. What the hell is wrong with him? Fine. If he wants to hear you say it, then who are you to not oblige?
"Because I refuse to be second to anyone"
"What the hell are you on about woman?"
You explode.
"I know you're still in love with Mina you asshole!"
For once, Jungkook is stunned by your words and left speechless. His expression changes into one of puzzlement and for a second you almost believe that he genuinely has no idea what you're talking about.
"Look, you don't have to say anything okay. I already know how you feel so you can stop. Let's just agree to go back as friends" You brush past him and almost make it to the door when Jungkook grabs your wrist and stops you on your tracks.
"Wait" he turns around to face you. "What the hell do you mean I love Mina?"
The confusion in his voice sounds legitimate enough that it makes you second guess yourself. Â Could you have been wrong? But that's impossible. You saw the box under his bed...
"There was a box under your bed" you open your mouth and your voice has lost some of its certainty "It had all these photos and mementos in it. It looked like a memory box"
Jungkook's eyebrows furrow as he processed your words. Suddenly, as if a light bulb has been turned on in his head, his eyes widen with comprehension and when it does, his mouth widens into a smirk, surprising you.
"Is that it?" He laughs at you. The humour and playfulness returning to his face. "Is that why you've been ignoring me? Because you were jealous?"
Your face goes as red as a tomato and you stutter out a response. "What? No! That wasn't the reason"
Jungkook continues to laugh at you. "Liar. You were so jealous"
"I wasn't jealous!!" What the hell is happening? Beyond annoyance and not wanting to listen to anymore of his teasing, you shake your hand free.
Thankfully Jungkook releases your hand with ease and relief washes over you but it's immediately driven away when Jungkook wraps both his arms around your waist and pulls you into his body, until you're chest to chest. Everywhere his body touches yours, you feel a wave of desire. Your heart races at the speed of light, threatening to jump out of your chest and you fear Jungkook can feel just how fast it's beating. You attempt to pull away but his arms tighten their grip, pulling you closer if that is even possible.
"W-what the hell do you think you're doing?" You glance up to look into his face and your knees almost give out because he's smiling from ear to ear. If you were in trouble before you're screwed now. How can you say no to that face?
--
Seeing your eyes soften and feeling your body relax in his arms, Jungkook knows you've stopped resisting.
And it's about damn time.Â
You almost drove him insane with all that nonsense but what surprised him most was how he had felt when you had said the other night was a mistake. Your words had felt like a smack to his gut and he had never felt more hollow or empty.
That night had been the single, greatest night of his life. Everything was amazing, including you. Jungkook hadn't been able to get enough of you. When he had woken up that morning, his body was reacted to you and he had wanted to take you again, right then, while you were still soft and warm from sleep but he had forced himself yo restrain, knowing that you needed as much rest as you could, especially seeing as how energetic you had both been and how much energy you had no doubt exerted.
Being the gentleman his mother raised him to be, he had climbed out of bed and taken a cold shower. Whilst he had scrubbed himself clean, he had been looking forward to spending the day with you, lazing around the house. After what had happened, it was clear your relationship had progressed into something more and the prospect excited him. He hadn't felt this way in a long time. Not since Mina.
Jungkook doesn't know when it happened or how but one day he found himself not thinking of Mina and instead thinking of you. You had always been on his mind but now it was like he was a man possessed. He thought about you constantly. Seeing you that night at fundraiser with Eric, validated his feelings.
--
"That box is junk"
Your eyebrows knot together in confusion. "What?"
"That box of stuff under my bed? It's junk. Things that I've been meaning to throw away but I just hadn't had the time yet"
His words sink in but you're still confused. "What?"
"It means nothing to me"
You open your mouth but Jungkook cuts you off. "If you say what one more time, I'll kiss you"
Your mouth immediately slams shut and the blood rushes to your face. A million thoughts fly through your mind. Could what Jungkook say be the truth? Had you just done what you always do and overreacted? Your brain jumping to conclusions? Knowing your track record, there's a high possibility.
Jungkook smiles fondly at your response. He has always enjoyed teasing you but now it was even better.
It's clear that your still sceptical, so he continues to talk "I dated Mina when I was still studying and I loved her. In fact, I even asked her to marry me"
For so long you had wished that Jungkook would open up to you and here he is, doing exactly that and whilst his words weren't a surprise to you, it still struck a nerve to hear the words come straight from his mouth. Part of you doesn't want to listen but you force yourself to.
"Did you know our families have wanted us to marry each other ever since we were kids? For a while I thought it was what I wanted to. But eventually people change and we grew apart. Mina called off our engagement and I was angry for months. No. That's not right. I was angry for years. I hated her for ending things the way she did"
You close your eyes, feeling your heart ache for him. You donât want to hear about his feelings for Mina.
"For a while, I was bitter. But eventually I learned to let go. Because of you"
With your eyes closed, you can feel Jungkook lowers his head slowly, bringing his lips closer to yours. Your heartbeat is as loud as a drum in your ear and you stop breathing. His lips stop a hairs-breadth from yours and you can feel his breath tickle against your cheek.
No one moves and for a while Jungkook doesn't speak. Finally, when you've got enough of a handle on your emotions to not burst into a puddle of tears, you open your eyes and find yourself staring straight into Jungkook's eyes. You don't pull back, instead you hold his gaze, feeling every unspoken word and emotion from years cross between the two of you.
"The moment you came back into my life you have made it your mission to mess everything up" Jungkook raises a hand and strokes your cheeks affectionately, stopping only to cup you in the palm of his hand. "Every day I found myself thinking more and more about you until you were all I could think of. You were on my mind twenty four seven and for a while I was in denial but I'm not anymore. You are the biggest dork in the world and you have zero sense of self preservation. Â I'm scared to leave you alone because who knows what you might get up to. Like when we were teenagers and you tried to take up skateboarding and almost sprained your ankle. Or the fact that you love eating spicy chicken flavoured ramen even though it hurts your stomach and gives you stomach pains the next day. You always jump first and think later but that's what I love about you"
Your heart stops. Did he just say love?
"But what about Areum? What about our engagement?" You ask, barely above a whisper, still reeling from his earlier words.
"I told you. I was never going to marry Areum. Its a stupid idea between my mother and her father but it's not happening, they've accepted it. Besides Areum's had a crush on someone for years. Trust me".
"What about your mother?"
"You forced your way back into my life and now you think you can leave that easily? Well guess what? I'm not going to let you go. I made that mistake once, it's not going to happen again. My mother is a lot of things but she isn't an idiot. She knows I never would have been happy married to Areum, not when I'm in love with someone else" He smiles down at you and at that moment, you could die.
How could you have ever believed that you could get over Jeon Jungkook?
"You love me?â You ask, feeling a million overwhelming emotions wash over you. You have to hear him say it aloud and directly, otherwise youâre not sure if this is one of your many dreams or reality. âDo you actually love me?â You repeat the question, not realising that you needed the answer more than you needed anything else in the world at this moment.
Thinking back now, you had always had a slight suspicion but you had never allowed yourself to believe it could be. For so long you had convinced yourself that there was no possibility of Jungkook feeling the same way as you. But his words just now give you the one thing you dread most. Hope.
You wait for his reply but instead of replying, Jungkook hooks a hand around the back of your neck and pulls you to him, covering your lips with his. Immediately, you open yourself up to him and wrap your arms around his neck, rising to the tops of your toes to allow his tongue better access. The kiss is everything. Itâs hot, intense but most of all, it silences all your doubts and thoughts in your head. The kiss is Jungkookâs answer.
Feeling overjoyed beyond imagination, you canât help but smile into the kiss causing Jungkook to pull back and look at you in amusement.
âWhat are you smiling about?â he smiles at you, teasingly.
You return his smile, feeling as though right now youâre the happiest person in the world. âNothingâ you grin widely and bring your lips back to his.
Who wouldâve thought that you would finally land the boy of your dreams after all these years? I guess dreams really do come true. If your teenage self could see you now, she would be screaming the roof off of the house.
The end.
**Authorâs Note: First of all, I have to apologies to all the Game On! fans because I did not do this story justice, at all and I know this chapter and ending is not what this story deserves. Honestly, when I started this story I had a clear idea of where I wanted it to go but somewhere along the line I just wasnât feeling it anymore, which is why a lot of the time there wasnât a lot of flow and some things are mentioned briefly but never elaborated on (like the girl Jungkook was seen with at the cafe). Rather than drag the story on with no clear direction, Iâve decided the best thing is to end it and at give it somewhat of a conclusion.Â
Thank you to every one for reading and following along. I promise Iâll make it up to you all and write an even better story (Note to self; this time stick to the plot).Â
(And as for whether the OC is pregnant, maybe...maybe not!)
