In regards to changing the ethnicity of Superman:

I think it would thematically make sense for Superman to be Latino because he is the ultimate immigrant - he's practically a Dreamer. If they got someone like Oscar Isaac to play Superman, that would work perfectly.

Additionally, Post Crisis Lex Luthor is based on Donald Trump, so if you wanted to be really on the nose, you could have Lex run for president, and hate immigrants like Superman.

I think it would be great to make the Superman movie a analogy for the immigrant story and hire a mostly Latino crew to make it (imagine a Guillermo del Toro directed Superman movie). The film could be like DC's version of Black Panther and maybe show a good portion of this world that immigrants are not bad people...

Oh my god, someone has footage of it! I remember one time my dad, lil brother, and I were leaving a Ryan’s. We were waiting for a chance to hop onto the road and in the distance we just saw everything turn grey. We saw it come closer and closer and come to find out it was rain! It was just a wall of rain - the end of the rain, really. I’ve never seen it again, but it’s so cool to see footage of the edge of rain!

This happened when I was a little kid. It was raining in the back yard, so I went inside. I looked out front and it was dry, so I went out and played in the front yard instead. Haha
