do you ever just really want someone’s presence? like you’ll be over the moon if that one special person was sitting next to you at school, watching a movie with you, laying in bed, like it could be completely silent and it would still feel so perfect and exciting to be there spending time with them.
@theguyattheback
Iv’e debated uploading my own pictures and really trying to make this about my traveling and my training but I work so much and I’m not traveling for another month or two, but I have so much I could share...
Yeah? No???? HelP???
Something I’ve never done.

I’m extremely stubborn, especially when it comes to asking for help. I’ve run to my final choice after finding and selling everything I can and working 2 jobs. Not being able to get any more hours, the amount I should have by the time I move is not as much as I truly need ( A fact that I will entirely ignore and still head straight onto my goal anyways, even it means I live off of peanut butter sandwiches for half a year or longer.) Please, take a moment to read this over, and donate if you can. I really appreciate it.

I’m going to update this, for those of you that can’t click on the link at the time but are interested. This is the short version. Earlier this year I went to Thailand to do Shaolin kung Fu. I am currently working my way back for 2017 to become an instructor at the school I go to for this, which is Nam Yang Kung Fu Retreat. When I graduated High school I didn’t have a very fair idea of what I wanted to do so I decided not to go to college. I am one of many, but also few in the states that were fortunate enough to have a trust fund from my grandparents, which help funded my travels earlier this year. I was going to use it to go to England to do technical theater, and was on my way to my passport for the UK. That didn’t end up working, and I never found an internship, but I did find the school. WHat was going to be a few month stay of training became half a year. Something I’ve always wanted to do, was travel, and I was initially going to enlist if all else failed. This trust fund really granted me what I wanted without the dedication of about 20 years or less.
What this school brought to me, is absolutely unbreakable and incredible. The friendships, the stories. The mental and physical aspect. Spiritual as well. I have never been so happy. Since being home I’ve worked two jobs; about 60+ hours a week. I’m currently on the move to sell almost everything I don’t use anymore, which isn’t very much. In desperation to make sure i can stay financially stable, I’ve created this campaign. I’m asking for any help anyone can give, and if non comes, thank you so much for the thought and taking the time to read this and reblog this if you’re able to. The money that comes will be put directly into my savings account. Thank you again, this means a lot to me. I am still heading on with this goal if I dont reach my goal on here. Thanks again.
Probably my most favorite view from when I was flying to Thailand. I believe this was Dubai, but I could be wrong.
So Amazing Shaolin Kung Fu Football!

Hey tumblr help me out here.
I saw a flyer posted at my college for a local course in shaolin kung fu (it’s not through my college, it’s through an outside martial arts organization).
It seems like an open invitation and promises to be a fun course that teaches you confidence and flexibility and strength.
I am white. Is it cultural appropriation if I enroll in this kung fu class? I’m genuinely interested but I know thats not an excuse. If anyone can speak to this, I’d love to hear your thoughts. ?
Yes!! I am also white, and I think this is a WONDERFUL idea.
I recently went to a Kung Fu Retreat in the mountains of Thailand and trained for half a year and am going back for the instructor program. I personally believe this is a wonderful Idea and that you should take it if you’re interested and should continue if you enjoy it. An art that takes all three ideals; Mind, Body, and Spirit is GREAT for your own health in all ways. I love shaolin kung fu in my own, general opinion. I highly recommend it!
