Y'all complaining about the original Winx Club fans being mean... This is the show I watched with my younger sibling as I grew up. I begged my parents to buy me a backpack with Stella on it in the fourth grade. I became closer to my friends because of our shared love towards the Winx Club characters. You do not know and can't possibly imagine how much each one of them means to us. So, yeah, I'm allowed to criticise what I do not like, based on what has already been established by its predecessor. Considering that I loved the series with its ups and downs (the last seasons, I'm looking at you), this adaptation is the rock bottom and I'm not saying this because I enjoy spreading hate. I'm only disappointed and hurt to see what has become of the Winx Club that I adore and cherish even until this very day.

So if there's anyone out there who's been nearly as oblivious as me, Janet Varney (voice of Korra) and Seychelle Gabriel (voice of Asami) did live reading of Turf Wars and answered some questions. Thankfully, Dark Horse Comics uploaded the stream on their channel.

I honestly don't hate Kite Man's character and might even understand why Ivy falls for him at some point in her life. But overall I don't see the marriage thing happening.

The relationship between Harley and Ivy on the other hand is so much deeper and intimate. Because those two have been through so much together and have saved each other numerous times. As Harley now tries to understand what love actually means she is bound to undergo this kind of emotional rollercoaster where she comes to the realization that she in fact had someone who cared about her sometimes even more than that person cared about themselves, gave her limitless affection and attention when she needed it most and stood by her side no matter what. And that person is Poison Ivy.

Hopefully Ivy will understand that what she has with Kite Man is not 'true love' but a distraction that can only temporarily make her happy.

I've read The Legend of Korra: Ruins of The Empire recently and I gotta admit, I'm impressed. The storywriting has improved so much since the Turf Wars. The artstyle is absolutely adorable. I highly recommend 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤
