You owe yourself Iḥsān. You owe yourself good sleep, a word of encouragement, good treatment and unconditional love. Everyone you know will separate from you at some stage of your journey, except for yourself. You will enter each chapter with you. So be good to you.

Really learn to appreciate and to understand yourself. And be kind to yourself. This isn't even about self love - this is about self acceptance and self support. No one can give to you what you can give to yourself.

Have a connection with your Lord, for you. Your heart needs it. Work hard, so you can rest tomorrow in paradise, for you. For how long are you going to be tired, for how long are you going to burden others to save you, to make you feel whole. Carry yourself to all that is good.

And pray for peace. When the mind and heart are at peace, the eyes are able to see with clarity.

May Allāh make your inner world a safe space for you, a place you can call home and be at peace in, so you can thrive.
