I’m genuinely crying rn because there are people out there who ACTUALLY believe Kal hates Kon or doesn’t want to be around him when this man is literally with no hesitation telling Kon how he views him as family and that he trusts him with his life! And on top of that he cares to be patient enough and curious to know what’s bothering Kon and it’s so nice to see how he can basically read him in some ways. This man loves his brother nephew cousin son apprentice so fucking much and I’ll sob and sob about it because dc really took this away from me and now I have to put so much effort when I’m looking for stories about them on ao3 because of them.
