AriHan fluff: you two cuddling during a cold day, Rohan's chest against your back and his fingers drawing (like for real, he's drawing the cup of coffee into your skin) with his fingers only. As you start to feel your eyelids heavy he whispers "I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I'll do it again in another life to have you one more time, to meet you again and fall in love all over again."
😭💞 thank you for the fluff, Lena aaaaa 💚 ilyyyyy!!
@anasuisprisonwife thank you Samus! 😭🙏💗 I hope it’s just a system glitch (It looks like @smol-sunnie ‘s blog is doing it too so I have a little hope that it’s not just me)
Needed a soft fic of them all hanging out, so I wrote it! 💕
Pressing open a glass exit door, Joseph Joestar grumbled as Singapore’s summer heat hit him full blast. Midday sunshine reflected off of the aqua-bottomed pool, its ripples lapping quietly at the concrete. Following close behind, Avdol and Polnareff walked out as well, Polarneff already pulling a hand over his eyes and complaining about how bright it was outside. After his battle with Ebony Devil and narrow release from prison, all Polnareff wanted to do was relax. The others agreed, deciding to join Kakyoin at the hotel pool.
Jotaro still hadn’t returned, but Anne had run back to the hotel to escape Yellow Temperance. Locking herself into her room, Anne had promptly fell asleep, exhausted. The others had decided to let her sleep for the night.
Walking over to Kakyoin, Joseph set a towel down on the nearby chair, taking a seat and glancing around.
“Any sign of Jotaro, Kakyoin??”
Sitting up and adjusting his sunglasses, Kakyoin shook his head.
“I’m beginning to worry, Mr. Joestar. But with Star Platinum by his side, he’s not likely to lose.”
Grunting an assent, Joseph sat back to lay in the sun, still worrying silently about his grandson. What would Holly do if Jotaro was seriously injured or worse, killed, on this trip? He wasn’t sure he wanted to find out…
Settling on the other side of Kakyoin, Polnareff and Avdol mirrored Joseph’s actions, settling in to rest in the summer sun. Relaxing wasn’t something they’d had a chance to do since Dio began sending his rounds of stand users. Each time they found safety, some new hireling would appear. Two in one day was far more than enough.
Stretching out dramatically, Polnareff announced he was going to take a dip in the pool and strode over to sit on the edge. Avdol, meanwhile, was quietly applying sunscreen and sitting cross-legged on his pool chair. The heat had always been comforting—he supposed it was being used to Magicians’ Red’s flames for so long. Summoning his stand, Avdol opened a bag of peanuts, flicking a few towards Red and stroking the soft plumage on his head. With a cheerful chirp, Red burst into flames, squeaking happily and opening his mouth for more treats.
Watching with a smile, Kakyoin sat up, summoning Hierophant Green to sit next to him. Grabbing his water bottle, Kakyoin poured the liquid over Green’s shoulders to cool both of them off. Shivering, Hierophant wrapped his tendrils around Kakyoin’s waist and shoulders in a hug, warming up in the sunlight. From nearby, loud snoring cut through the ambient sounds— Kakyoin covered his mouth, stifling a laugh. Mr. Joestar had already fallen asleep and small trails of Hermit Purple’s vines twined around the chair, ensuring he wouldn’t fall out.
Next to Polnareff, Silver Chariot sat, using his blade to slash at the water and create ripples in the pool’s surface. Staring down at his distorted reflection, Polnareff grazed his fingers gently over the new wounds on his face and bite mark on his shoulder. Ebony Devil had been merciless in his pursuit. Polnareff was glad to finally be rid of the demon… He would have to keep an eye on the wounds to make sure they didn’t get infected.
Heavy footsteps soon clunked on the pavement by the pool’s gate, as slow, tired steps made their way closer to the group. With a deep sigh, Jotaro opened the lock with his room key, cradling his right hand and arm. The battle with Yellow Temperance had been hard fought. Even though he had won, the wounds and burns from his early attempts at fighting the stand were still painful and raw. Upon seeing Jotaro, Kakyoin jumped to his feet, rushing over.
“Jojo!”
Nodding in Kakyoin’s direction, Jotaro grunted and kept walking, looking for an empty chair. Helping him over to his own seat, Kakyoin looked Jotaro over, eyeing the wounds.
“You should remove your coat so we can tend to the wounds, Jotaro…”
Glancing up, Jotaro assented, slowly removing his jacket and unbuttoning his shirt.
“Yare yare…”
In a moment, Jotaro fell backwards, half passing out. Star Platinum jumped out quickly to catch his user, pulling him up properly into the chair with a concerned “Ora!” Rushing forward, Kakyoin checked Jotaro’s pulse and assessed the angry red wounds trailing over his chest and right arm. He would need bandages and rest, at the very least.
With all the commotion, Polnareff finally looked over from the pool, standing quickly.
“HUH?! What’s going on? What happened??”
Polnareff stood over the two, eyeing Jotaro’s wounds as well. Kakyoin looked up, still holding Jotaro’s arm and monitoring his pulse.
“I’m not sure yet. Anne said he was fighting a stand earlier when she called Mr. Joestar… He passed out before I could ask more…”
Avdol sat up and placed his feet on the pavement, watching carefully. If necessary, he would step in to assist, but Kakyoin seemed to have things under control…
What kind of stand could cause those wounds? They seem to trail all over his chest in organic shapes… No sharp edges. No slices or punctures or cuts. Just burns…
Dropping Jotaro’s hand for a moment, Kakyoin stood.
“Polnareff. Wake up Mr. Joestar. Perhaps he can get more information from Jojo… I need to get supplies from our room.”
The frenchman give a quick nod, stepping towards the two Joestars.
“And if you can, Polnareff…” Kakyoin continued. “Find something for Jotaro to drink. He needs more fluids to aid in healing… We don’t want him to get dehydrated in this heat.”
“Yes, yes, I’ve got it handled Kakyoin. Don’t worry! You’re like a mother hen, all worrying and pecking over him. He’ll be right here when you get back. Rush off and I’ll take care of things.”
“Right.”
With a slight bow, Kakyoin walked to the entrance doors, turning back to send Hierophant Green to watch over Jotaro in his absence. Star Platinum still crouched nearby, watching quietly. Grabbing onto Star’s shoulder, Hierophant wrapped his arms around gently to hang on and nestled under Star’s wavy locks. The two watched, concerned, as Polnareff located a vending machine nearby to get drinks. With Pol away, Avdol walked over to get a better look at the injuries, bringing his stand out to reassure Star and Hierophant as they waited for Jojo to wake.
“Oh…” Polnareff gave a little grunt as he returned, pouting.
“Did you want anything Avdol? They have sodas… juice… water.”
Pol thumbed over his shoulder at the machine, and Avdol shook his head no.
“This is of more importance at the moment. Here.”
Avdol reached out his hand for a bottle of water.
“I’ll give Jotaro a drink. You wake Mr. Joestar.”
“Fineeee, here.” Polnareff slapped the bottle into Avdol’s hand and crouched next to Joseph, squinting in the sunlight.
“Mr. Joestar???”
No response. Polnareff yelled louder this time.
“MR. JOESTAR!!!!”
A little snort and groan, but Joseph was still fast asleep.
“Rrrragh! Whaaaat?! JOSEPH WAKE UP!!!”
Polnareff gave Joseph a small smack in the face, resulting in Hermit Purple lashing out, wrapping its tendrils around Pol’s wrists and pinning him to the ground. Avdol, who had been cooling down Jotaro’s forehead, looked over, sighing.
“Again, Jean??~”
Grumbling sheepishly, Polnareff gave a small grimace and wriggled to free himself from the bonds. Joseph was finally beginning to wake, yawning and stretching out as he opened his eyes.
“MMmmmhrrrm.”
Once he came to, Joseph took in the scene of Polnareff on the ground and Jotaro passed out nearby.
“What.”
Polnareff yelled from the ground.
“If you could release me Mr. Joestar, I would be grateful!”
“Oh…. Hrmmm.”
With a flick of his hand, he retracted Hermit Purple and rubbed his wrists.
“What did I miss?? Where’s Kakyoin?”
Sitting up, Polnareff updated him with the situation, motioning to Jotaro and the watching stands.
Joseph looked eyes with Avdol, raising an eyebrow.
“Has Jotaro come around yet??”
“He’s close, I believe Mr. Joestar. I was keeping him cooled off, but we need to know what happened. What the stand was that attacked him.”
“Right… Polnareff, can you help us?? We should sit Jotaro at the edge of the pool. Don’t submerge the wounds.”
With a cheerful “Ora?” Star moved towards Joseph, flexing his arm—he wanted to help his user. Hierophant uncurled and popped out from Star’s shoulder, indicating his desire to help too. With a nod, Joseph stood and approached the stands, offering a gentle pat to both of them.
“Hierophant? Can you wrap around Jotaro’s shoulders and brace him? Star, you support under his legs while Pol and I take his arms. Avdol, if you get in the pool you can help lower him down and make sure we don’t get his burns wet.”
Everyone agreed to the plan and Jotaro soon rested in the pool, submerged from his waist down on the steps, finally coming around with the frigid water. With quiet grunts, Jotaro opened his eyes, glancing around at everyone and embarrassed to be the focus of attention.
“Why is everyone staring at me like this??”
Jotaro pulled the brim of his hat down to cover his blush, looking down at his wounds.
“Oh…”
“What happened, Jotaro??” Joseph stood at his side, looking over the burns like everyone else.
“Stand battle. Said his name was Temperance Yellow. Practically unbeatable. You’d be proud of me jiji, I even used the Joestar family technique…”
Muffling a small chuckle, Joseph crossed his arms with a proud smirk.
“How did you beat him?”
“With my fists~”
This time Avdol held back a laugh. The Joestars were all so alike, much as Jotaro tried to hide it under layers of quiet, steeled strength. Finally bursting through the doors with arms full of supplies, Kakyoin paused when he saw everyone crowed at the pool, confused.
“Hello??”
Mr. Joestar motioned him forward.
“We woke Jotaro up, Kakyoin… Come over.”
Everyone moved away to let Nori work, retreating to their pool chairs.
“Sit up on the ledge if you can, Jojo.”
“It’s my chest injured, not my legs, Kakyoin.”
Blushing, Kakyoin nodded, flipping his sunglasses down and grabbing the antibacterial ointment.
“This might hurt, but try to stay still…”
As Kakyoin traced his fingers over the wounds, smearing on the salve, Jotaro flinched slightly. Try as he might to dull the sensation, the burns were still quite painful. With the cold pool water, Nori’s fingers, and a slight wind, Jotaro shivered in the mid-day heat.
“When I’m done you can get your jacket back, Jojo…”
Kakyoin spoke quietly and gently, keeping the conversation between just them.
“Thank you, Nori.”
Looking up with his light lavender eyes, he nodded at Jojo, face filled with concern. He didn’t like seeing anyone in their party hurt, least of all Jotaro.
“How did the stand do all this?”
“Yellow Temperance was gelatinous. Some sort of acidic slime. Any time you tried to defeat it—burning, freezing, anything—it would only grow stronger and multiply.”
Holding up his hand, he winced as Kakyoin hit a deeper burn.
“This one’s probably the worst. I tried to use a lighter and burn it off.”
“Let me see that.”
Kakyoin took his hand quickly, rubbing ointment over the injury and reaching for gauze.
Avdol, Polnareff, and Joseph had all begun to walk around the pool with their stands, testing each other’s reaction times and battling. On the rare off-moments, they liked making bets and trying stupid maneuvers on one another. Polnareff ducked as Magician’s Red spit out a stream of flame just above his head, shrieking and guarding his hair.
“You almost singed me, Avdol!!! Don’t mess with the hair!!! What do you think you’re doing pulling a stunt like that???”
Joseph and Avdol held back laughter as Polnareff pouted, crossing his arms. Avdol walked forward, trying to pull Polnareff out of his mood.
“My apologies, Jean. Do we need to kiss and make up??”
Blushing, Polnareff swatted Avdol’s hand away, staying in his funk.
“I’m getting a soda…”
Knotting the gauze at Jotaro’s palm, Kakyoin leaned down to seal it with a kiss, avoiding Jotaro’s gaze. Both of them blushed madly, but Jotaro wasn’t upset. Secretly, he liked sweet, soft gestures, even though he tried to be cold. Quickly moving to wrap the bandages around Jojo’s chest, Kakyoin soon finished, standing up to leave the pool. Jotaro followed, sitting on the pool chairs and watching Joseph and Avdol battle. Handing Jotaro his coat, Kakyoin stood close by, watching as well. Flames against vines didn’t seem a fair fight, but it was more like a complicated boxing match, each avoiding the lashing out stand attacks. The two were well-matched, and after a few rounds, they grasped hands at a draw.
“Good going, Avdol. You’ve really been training!”
“Thank you Mr. Joestar! I learned from the best.”
Kakyoin smiled, leaning his arms down on Jotaro’s shoulders. Polnareff soon rejoined everyone and stretching out as he approached.
“I don’t know about all of you, but I’m starving!!! Let’s go eat!!”
“Yes. A fine plan. Let’s go!” Joseph grabbed up his towel, wiping off his face, dripping with sweat from the battle.
The others acquired their towels and extras, calling their stands back as they walked to the doors, laughing and teasing each other. Whatever else happened on this trip, they could take it on together. No matter what disagreements or danger, the Stardust Crusaders knew they’d always have each other’s backs.
-Rohan x Laura Biagiotti collection!! Gio would hook Rohan up with his designer and they’d make a collection together. Rohan would be internally crying because he’s low-key always wanted to be a fashion designer and he couldn’t be happier.
-The boys have each other to process stuff, especially when it comes to relationships. Giorno and Rohan are both a little hesitant when it comes to having children. Sure, Lena and Ariel would be thrilled, but for the boys, they have to sort through a lot before coming to terms. Gio, with his past negligent family, Rohan, with his childhood trauma and annoyance with children in general. When Gio and Rohan admit those doubts to one another, they also get the courage to discuss it with their wives!
-Speaking of wives 😏 Gio and Rohan are basically wife appreciation central. Like now that they have a best friend to talk to?? They WILL NOT SHUT UP about how much they love their wives.
-Rohan at some point will request using Gio’s powers to get reference photos of creatures he’s never met in real life.
((Me when he does: BABE DONT U DARE LICK IT (spider flashbacks *shiver*) ))
-If Rohan calls Gio “fake blonde” he’s going to shoot right back with “grass mop” 😂 they’re petty.
-And the pettiness will not stop there. They will compete and argue over literally anything, but it’s honestly pretty healthy? They enjoy being motivated by one another. There’s times, like you said, that they’ll try to get us to decide something for them and settle it.
-We try not to be biased, but we also have a secret weapon: Distracting with smooches. That’s right. Neither of them can keep arguing or complaining if they can’t talk. Therefore, keep their mouths otherwise occupied 😉😘
-Eventually, after Rohan and I get married, you and I would totally go lingerie shopping in Italy when we come over for the honeymoon. You’re like: Ariel we are doing this, also Rohan I need ur wife for an afternoon, don’t ask questions. The selection there is super high quality and our boys would let us buy whatever sooooo… Yee haw!! Let’s get this bread!! (Our tastes would be bomb af too tho and we’d find the perfect stuff to tease our boys 💖)
-Rohan and Gio actually love teaching each other languages, like cute things to say in japanese and italian (and swear words, let’s be real).
-Rohan gets Gio to help him recreate iconic fashion magazine covers (IM SOLD. I WILL TAKE THE PHOTOS FOR THEM).
Please add others, Lena!!! 💕💖💕💜💚✨💖💖💕💘

I’m loving these! @amethystsoda Sorry it took me so long! Here’s my (poor) take!
When Giorno started to hang out with Rohan more often he found out his talent to draw. Rohan was interested on teaching him techniques. After Giorno developed his own style —not as clean and mastered and seeming rather natural like Rohan's— they both started sketching together, sometimes pulling challenges, sometimes just talking while they lazily sketched an animal Giorno made with GER.
Both of them are Weak™ for lingerie, and we know this: poor boys will be drooling after our afternoon of shopping like there’s no tomorrow.
Giorno has a black panther named T'challa (I take the blame on this, he probably likes MARVEL without realizing hahaha) and Rohan gets ABSOLUTELY interested on sketching the animal while it is just,,, chilling at Giorno’s feet.
When one of them shows up with lipstick stains the other just goes “hey bro you look like a painting” and afterwards they wheeze. Their humor is weird when this two are together.
Rohan when Giorno calls him “grass mop”:
“ShUt Up FaKe BlOnDe”
Giorno, realizing what Rohan said:
(This is the moment when the “smooch and silence” plan starts).
Finally decided to write these up for the first @jjbastars prompt— Backstory!
Thank you to @dongiovannaswife for asking about my Rohan hcs and getting me thinking about this! 💕
Content warning: heavy DIU (part 4) spoilers and mentions of murder within.
-Rohan grew up in Morioh until the incident when he was 4 years old.
-His father was a businessman and mother a model.
-Morioh was only a train ride away from Tokyo, the cost of living cheaper, Rohan’s grandmother lived in the historic area of town (as shown in Rohan at the Louvre), and the surrounding countryside was more accessible than in the big city.
-Rohan’s father was called away to Tokyo for a business meeting and his mother to a photoshoot. The family was good friends with the Sugimoto’s and Reimi had babysat Rohan many times before, so they agreed to take him while the Kishibe’s left for Tokyo.
-That night, Kira executed his first attack—first killing Reimi’s parents and her dog Arnold, then hiding under Reimi’s bed. Reimi went out to figure out what the dripping noise was and found Arnold. Her first thought then was of protecting Rohan. When Kira revealed himself, Reimi ran to hide, going to the guest room where 4-year-old Rohan was sleeping.
-Locking the door and slipping the vanity chair under the door handle, Reimi gently woke Rohan up, running a hand through his hair and telling him things would be alright. Still sleepy, Rohan clung to Reimi as she opened the window. The door handle jiggled, door pounding as Kira tried to get inside.
-“Go, go! Hide in the bushes!” Reimi whispered to Rohan as she lowered him and shut the window. As Rohan scrambled away, the lights in the room flipped on and he saw a stranger with Reimi, before witnessing her subsequent murder. Reimi’s only consolation was knowing that Rohan was safe as she passed from this world to the in-between.
-In the bushes, Rohan curled up into a ball, crying and trying to keep quiet, scared that Kira would come after him next. He didn’t have a phone, didn’t have any way of contacting anyone. All he could do was stay hidden and pray that he would be safe. Because the window was already shut, Kira didn’t know about Rohan and left after making sure there was no way of tracking him back to the murders.
-A neighbor had heard the commotion, seen the strange lights, and called the police. Kira had already escaped at that point, but soon a car showed up and the officer, Ryohei Higasikata, approached the front door, knocking with no reply. At that point, Rohan burst from the bushes, still crying and yelling “Reimi snuck me out the window!!!”
-Clinging to Ryohei’s leg, he was shaking, crying, and repeating the same phrase over and over. “Reimi snuck me out the window. Reimi snuck me out the window. Reimi snuck me out the window.” With the trauma of the event, Rohan didn’t remember anything else that happened. Not the killer’s face, not the murder—only that his beloved babysitter had saved his life.
-Because of the bad memories and trauma, when the Kishibe’s returned home and heard the whole situation, they made the decision to move permanently to Tokyo. Rohan hadn’t made many friends, except for Reimi, and they hoped that moving would help.
-Because his parents were now busier than ever (since living in Tokyo meant they could take on more jobs), Rohan became used to school life, used to being alone, and coped through creating his own world. He began exploring stories and storytelling as a way of creating the friends that he didn’t have. Writing was an escape—a way of creating the world he wanted.
-When he finally got Pink Dark Boy serialized at 16, the income was a way to finally move out on his own. His parents had been distant anyway and had their own sets of expectations. His father, always demanding greatness and high achievement. His mother, focused on presentation, fashion, and looking perfect. Rohan, then, tried to make his own life, but couldn’t completely escape his upbringing—always pushing himself to create and falling into the trap of perfection and doubts.
-Because of what happened with Reimi, Rohan has always had a connection to the spirit world and the ability to see, encounter, and deal with ghosts and spirits. Araki details these more in Rohan at the Louvre (his encounters at 17 with his ancestor Nanase) and Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (Mutsu-Kabe Hill, Millionaire’s Village, etc).
-Rohan’s character has always been one of searching for truth and discovering meaning (the theme song from TSKR shows this perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAi1TeDCI6w)
“I wanna know the truth of life that never ends, To unchain the mystic rites, I’m calling… Solving mystery, I will find the key, It’s my destiny, This is my calling.”
-Much of Rohan’s character is based on/influenced by Mr. Araki himself.
-Rohan’s Heaven’s Door ability, I believe, is based on Mr. Araki’s habit of analyzing the people around him and depth of development for his characters (He has a list of 60 questions he answers for every character listed in Manga in Theory and Practice as well as comments about “observing” people to learn their habits.)
-I also believe Heaven’s Door takes the form of a child because of Rohan’s young-at-heart spirit (underneath all the tsundere), his youthful desire for creativity and discovery, and the necessity for child-like faith to enter Heaven (see Matthew 18:3 “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”)
-Because we know from word-of-author fact that Rohan is based on Araki (see below) I also headcanon that all the little Araki behaviors are also Rohan behaviors!
-Rohan wears glasses when he works or reads (but never really wears them in public) and shoves them up by his headband for working on details.
-Rohan/Araki also has hypermobile joints and that’s why he’s so particular about his stretches! You can easily overwork your muscles if you don’t keep them in shape. (I have hypermobile joints as well–because your joints can bend further than normal, muscle injuries happens more easily).
(The thumb joint pushed in above as well as the scrunched up pointer finger in the first photo are typical hypermobile grips!)
-Finally, I think that Rohan’s natural hair color is silver! The art Araki made of Vampire Rohan is his natural color. Whenever Araki colors Rohan’s hair, he leaves the bottom part grey. I think, even though Rohan can’t heal people with HD, he can alter some physical attributes and perceptions. He uses Heaven’s Door to change his hair color (this is why it changes so frequently in the comics to green, blue, and purple).
@mistaswife @sbongebob @piersfanclub @annoyedfox hey guys, it’s Ariel (amethystsoda / softlimefluff ). Tumblr decided to kick me off tonight (saying they had terminated my accounts) and I’m hoping I can still get my blogs back, but I wanted to let you know I’m here in the meantime until I figure out what’s going on 💚💕
