About My Self Ship (AriHan):

While in Morioh for a research trip, I met Rohan at the waterfront. We ended up talking and he offered to help with my research on the landmarks.

We fell in love over our months together and got engaged before I was supposed to leave at the end of the summer (spoiler: I didn’t leave 😌) We got married Jan 30, 2020 and our daughter Eliana (Ellie) was born May 7, 2021!!

Rohan just finished teaching art classes at University this year, Pink Dark Boy finished its first anime season. Currently our focus is on the SPW Foundation branch in Morioh (made on the land/hotel Rohan inherited from his grandmother).

Ellie’s getting into Nichijou lately and loves running around yelling “Nano!!!! Nanooooo!!!”

(We even had to get her a black cat plushie and tie a red handkerchief on it for Sakamoto!)

She doesn’t understand all the storylines yet, but she follows them very carefully and makes scribbles of all the characters 😌

Ellie's turning 5 in under a month and I'm thinking about how lucky she is to have Coco as a role model growing up right now--showing her that it's okay to be yourself AND to never give up when things seem impossible 🥹

also it would be hilarious if we showed Ellie the songs from Uramichi Oniisan and she grows up thinking it's an actual kids show everyone knows and then only like one of her friends knows what she's talking about when she gets to actual kindergarten xD
