Blue wouldn't have her life any other way: a stable job at Interpol, a nice apartment in Unova, just making money and rolling along her usual schedule. Except for the fact that her love-life is practically non-existent, a fact her co-worker often likes to tease her with. The final straw is eventually reached, and as a result Blue lies about her status on impulse. Luckily for her, Gold is there to back her up... and he's doing it surprisingly well.

I was honored to design an outfit for Specord's Special Gala 2020, this time for Hop! We had a theme of birthdays this year and I got to work around the date June 26th since that's Hop's volume debut.

Here's my thought process behind the costume:

The central theme of Hop's outfit is summer solstice which is celebrated in June near his birthday. The eye-catcher of the design is a massive oak tree extending from Hop's back, since oak is a tree associated with June. Among the branches is a bright light symbolizing the sun in the summer solstice, while also giving spotlight to the main star of the design. For his outfit itself, Hop is wearing a loose white shirt made of lightweight fabric you can almost see through. His sleeves puff out at the ends and are sprinkled with real roses, Hop's birthflower. Completing his look, he has pants and a ribbon with the color world of water, from the Cancer sign.

Maiden of the Sea (Jadeshipping)

Left to her own devices by her friends on a tropical island, Yellow has to find entertainment on her own. Though, she never thought she'd find it in a beautiful dancer called the Maiden of the Sea.

I decided to start promoting my own stuff on here instead of hiding this blog away in silence, heh. So here’s my most recent fic! I wrote this one for a secret santa exchange, my recipient gave me the perfect excuse of finally writing a jadeshipping oneshot aka my favorite lesbians.

I drew Black for #specialgala2020!! I matched with the lovely @prezs, she drew White~ We decided to go for warrior angels theme for this outfit, and made the details based on their birth flowers, birth pokemon (zodiac), black opal, etc!! (we worked so hard on this ; v ;)

Since Black and White were born three days apart, we decided to theme their outfits together! October’s birthstone, the opal, comes in a variety of colors - this includes the black opal and white opal. Black is primarily wearing black, while White is primarily wearing white. However, Blacks crown and sword incorporate use of the white opal, while White’s crown and outfit incorporate use of the black opal. As for tourmaline, October’s second birthstone, three can be found on White’s armor and staff.

The golden flames on both Black and White’s outfits represent Lampent, the Pokemon Zodiac for October. There is also a little Lampent engraved into White’s armor, while Black’s cape has a Lampent clasp.

Black and White have matching scale earrings, as they are Libras. Since they’re air signs, both of their outfits are loosely themed after angels. Finally, Marigolds, October’s birth flower, can be found on Black’s cape and White’s staff. They each have a marigold painted on their cheek as well.
