OMG these two tho. Ok so Sawyer’d just be perplexed by her rainbows and sunshine like LIFE IS NOT THAT GOOD WHY ARE YOU SO DARN HAPPy??? But idk that he’d actually say so, he’d just be like, “What is in the water in this town?” basically. That being said, I’m not sure how they’d meet? Any thoughts? Okay so either/both of those sound good to me! i feel like Jane probably does volunteer a lot, actually. Like something with kids or old people probably, ha. But OMG tho Rick going to school part time he WOULD feel so out of place especially if he is looking around his classmates and like I'VE ARRESTED LIKE 75% OF YOU FOR DRUGS/UNDERAGED DRINKING AT SOME POINT. Also, like I'm pretty sure like 99% of the people who went to my college would HATE THEIR LIFE FOREVER if the sheriff was in their class??? Like idek what they would talk about before/after class lol. But he'd probably DEFINITELY talk to Jane then because he'd be like I'VE NEVER EVEN PULLED YOU OVER FOR A WARNING BEFORE THIS WON'T BE AWKWARD. Also I feel like Jane can like ~sense when people are out of place and is just super friendly with them and tries to make them comfortable and like she'd always give him color coded notes if he ever missed a class.

Yes!  I feel like it most def is.  I also feel like he wouldn’t particular ~want to ever associate with the Bennets, if he happened to see them traipsing about town tbh so the exclusion might’ve been mutual, yknow?  He might seek out Mr. Bennet for any business interaction and, otherwise, simply avoided them bc ew squealing basically ;DDDDD  Do you remember if/how we said these two would meet?

Yes! We were thinking that Mr. and Mrs. Bennet would go to Gold for info on like renting a house/apartment from him, since they are in financial trouble, but it goes badly b/c Mrs. Bennet is Mrs. Bennet and so then Jane goes round to try to talk to him/get him to reconsider her parents as tenants.

Guess Who Is Coming to Breakfast | Dean & Jane

Jane's parents were away: they had told the girls that they were on a Christmas holiday, just the two of them, but Jane and Lizzie both knew that they were just going to spend a night with their Aunt and Uncle while they looked for cheaper housing options in the town over. 

Lizzie had spent the night with Charlotte, and so Jane and Lydia had the house to themselves. It was rare that this happened - Lydia was hardly ever home and Jane can't remember the last time she had stayed in when the parents were away - so Jane had gotten up early to make them scrabbled eggs and blueberry muffins (Lydia's favorite). 

She was at the stove when she heard footfalls behind her, "I making eggs! Muffins are in the oven. I didn't expect you to be down before noon, but --" She turned and instead of her sister, there was a man in a t-shirt and boxers, looking just as every bit as confused as Jane was. She had dropped the bowl in surprise, leaving a shattered mess over the kitchen floor. 

She realized that she had been naive to think that a night of chocolate ice cream, Love Actually, and in bed by 11 was enough to satisfy Lydia when both the parents and Lizzie were out of the picture. And this had happened one too many times for Jane to believe that he was just a friend Lydia had let sleep on the couch.

"Oh, sorry. I'll -- I'll get that. You must be Lydia's  --- friend. I'm her sister, Jane." She paused, "You hungry? I'm making um ... " She looked at the floor, "Well, there will be muffins soon, anyway."

Like, they are totally different social classes and I don't feel like Mr. & Mrs. Bennet would have too many/if any mutual friends with Gold? I think if Mr. Bennet really knew Gold, besides just his reputation for getting ppl things/that he basically owns the whole town, haha, that he wouldn't let his wife go with him when he met him, haha. So yeah, I feel like this is probs the first time they've all met??

Imagining Mrs Bennet and Mr Gold interacting makes my life??! Omg I can’t even with them. So you know how the Bennets are having financial difficulties and maybe Mr and Mrs Bennet are even considering some new place to live and went to mr gold about a property of his and the meeting just went so badly. And idk maybe Jane realizes that this is a pretty good deal (or at least better for them then their current situation) and goes to Gold to try to smooth things over or something? Like she’d probs bring snickerdoodles with her and he’s just like “wtf are those” ;))

Thaaaaaaank youu!!! And yeah, it totes works with my username, haha. Anyway, let’s see. Gunnar Scott works there and then Rayna Jaymes, Deacon Claybourne and Juliette Barnes occasionally sing there. And if you want a few more Avery Barkley and Scarlett’s best friend Zoey Dalton work there this season.

Anyway, honestly I think Scarlett would appreciate any feedback at all. When the show first started she barely showed her poetry to anyone and didn’t really think she was anything special. She moved to Nashville to support her boyfriend and then she ended up being the one brimming with talent and landing a record deal and all that jazz. So she would DEFINITELY value Jane’s opinion and really appreciate that Jane loved her poetry/music and wasn’t just being nice. And she’d probably appreciate it even more when she does land the record deal and Jane was one of the people supporting her all along.

Especially since her boyfriend completely and totally wasn’t. … Which would probably make her appreciate Jane aaaaaall the more. And basically these two are going to be so cute. Ugh. Yes <33

I always thought that family was the one thing you could count on, solid ground or whatever. I know every movie ever always said true love, but that always seemed so silly and narrow and isolating, but I think I get it now. Family is something you’re born into, they don’t have to— they might not always be there for you. But someone who finds you, and chooses you, and loves you, because they want to not because they’re supposed to. I mean, that’s something. That’s real, and I think I get it now. I feel good enough, for somebody, for once.

oHHHHH my gosh! this should totally happen, haha. And wow it'd be soo awkward for everyone involved. Like especially if Dean was under the impression that Lydia's house was just Lydia's and in the morning and her family's all there (or at least Jane is?) and it's obvious that she's a lot younger than he thought (although she's like 20-21 through the series so it could be worse haha) ANYWAY, Jane would be like o_O b/c running into your younger sister's one night stand in the kitchen is just uncomfortable. Especially if she wasn't expecting to see someone and just wow
