My view of Lola is different from how my friends do describe her. For example, I connect her with lambs as an animalistic symbol & I like to explore her complex interior battles besides "girl who goes around with guys". Using stories I heard from people i know in my italian life.

Lambs are used as symbols of innocence and childhood, a view that is well known in the modern interpretation of writing through animal symbolism. The idea of something pure is perfectly connected to the Son of God himself. Something many are not aware of regarding lambs is that their image is slightly different and a bit disturbing in Italian traditions (with my own personal interpretation on why). Lambs are animals that are only palatable to "commoners" when they are young. On Easter, lambs are brutally killed for their meat according to tradition but something many are not aware of is that lambs have always been used for common purposes by people in power. In medieval times, paper was not yet heavily used, so many churches had the custom of aborting lambs (or simply get newborns) to use their skin as parchment. This is where the Lola connection comes in, a girl who is "still young" and perfect for the taste of every boy around her. Someone to "consume" because that's what her duty is. Basically, a young animal that too early is witnessing how unfair life is to them.

Bullying, kids put in dangerous situations, girls threaten like objects and the cheerleader gets her pictures leaked. Meanwhile, what about the teachers who deserved consequences for what they caused? Nothing. This aspect in Bully reflects life in how unfair the school system is.

Why you love Bully? I'll start as usual. The game heavily recalls my child/teenhood and how wacky life was and the fun I had with my friends during school/uni years. Especially as someone who was bullied, this game brings me comfort.

Let’s stop blaming the victims of bullying (the nerds) and focus on how Mr. Burton paid Jimmy to steal the girls' underwear and how he sexually harassed Zoey.

I see where the disliked, but it reaches a point where people regard the nerds as evil incarnate for what happened to Mandy when Jimmy was the one that WILLINGLY took those pictures, helped me Burton get those underwear, helped Edna on that date that ended with Dr Watts most likely got raped by her.

I’m concerned because the earnest Jones RP ( @theearnestjones) blog is receiving numerous death threats, and so are the other nerd RP blogs here.

Let me repeat as well what I said on twitter:

I feel deeply sorry for your friend getting death threats over an RP account. My personal advice is to remove anonymous asks so "people" feel less comfortable sharing such things with them. No one deserves to be hated over the actions of a fictional character. I hope their best.

Besides that, this discussion reminds me of a conversation I had some time ago regarding the game Mouthwashing. I am a simple person, if you like a villain who did awful things it's okay, who cares? Simply, understand why many people may not like them or fully understand the actions of the villains and that what they did is in fact awful.

Jimmy isn't perfect; many criticized his "people pleaser" persona. He made many bad choices and should have been honest about them. The slight difference is that Jimmy followed "others'" orders, he wasn't the one who had those plans. He simply followed them because, in his mind, he wanted to make everyone "happy" to bring peace to the school. Earnest was the one who randomly thought to take pictures of Mandy. They played simple pranks on the boys, while the only "girl" happened to have literal revenge porn out of her. Again, I have nothing against Earnest fans, as everyone in this game is pretty much a Bully (the Canis Canem Edit rule), I simply feel it's heavy to understand why many (especially girls or victims of SA) have issues regarding what the Nerds did to Mandy. What happened to her reflects many who still suffer from such traumas. I can say this as I was the "Mandy of the situation" once.

To end the conversation, I do not condone harassment over fictional characters. I've stated many times that I'm against that.

Jimmy x Zoe is geniunely the worst ship, theyre literally the genderbent version of eachother and work so much better as friends than in a relationship. Its just another "hes a boy, shes a girl they have the same morals so they MUST be in a relationship."

I would not say that Zoe is the girl version of Jimmy, as she does see things differently than him. I would honestly say that I do admit to see them more as "siblings coded" than an actual couple. You can perfectly see that Bully got extremely rushed at one point, saying this as I wish we saw more out of Zoe. She is such a nice character who clearly had more potential but ended being seen in half. As i said many times also, Pinky had more chemistry with Jimmy than the others imo-

Some of my bully hot takes:

1.Im not gonna lie...i dont feel bad for Johnny LMAO i genuinely think hes right where he wants to be.

2. As much as i love Galloway, he is not fit to be a teacher and both him and Hattrick should have been fired.

3. I dont like the way this fandom kind of woobifies pete. He's not 5, he can set his own boundaries. If you listen to his voicelines, he's kinda sassy too.

4. We talk a lot about Burton (fuck him) but hardly anyone talks about Edna and Cook's Date...if it were the other way around, it wouldnt even be in the game.

5. Smopkins will always have my heart but if Rockstar made it canon i would jump off of a brdige NOOO they need to be in a weird situationship forever.

if you cant talk about any of these characters being your fav without perpetually excusing them for their wrongdoings (especially the boys) because they're young or mentally ill, you are not an actual fan of them. if you can't take acknowledging what actually takes place in the game, you're missing the point entirely. #OnGod!
