“Certainly,” Tom nodded, as he found himself being guided nearer the water by Jennifer. He settled down next to her, without even needing to respond to her a second time. “Do you really? It is a bit chillier than I expected. I perhaps ought to have worn a jacket. This means we need to sit a little closer for warmth,” he smirked, placing an arm around her waist and pulling her in nearer to him. The amount of alcohol in his system meant that he actually wasn’t feeling the cold wind at all, but she didn’t need to know that.

When Tom got closer to her and pulled her closer to him she looked at him for a moment as 1000 thoughts running through her mind. She bit her lower lip and couldn’t help herself but kiss him. She didn’t exactly know why she did this and why she was the one to make the movie but she also didn’t care that much.

But it’s not like he did, so the least he could do was trust her enough to follow her. “It’s been a long while since I spent my free time in this city, in my defense,” he said, before being dragged to the beach. “Okay, now I sort of know where we are,” he nodded, glancing around and familiarising himself with the surroundings. “Should we go find somewhere to sit down? Take in the view.”

“You want like sit on the sand?” She asked as she didn’t really wait for an answer, took his hand and lead him to the shore. “We can sit here if you want to” She said sitting down and looking at the dark water. “I love the cold wind at night, especially at the sea.”
