TBB Tech stans have you ever considered that some of the folks calling Tech "bad representation" that you think are inherently ableist for using the phrase might be actual autistic people struggling for words or being "blunt" or "direct" (which you're so fond of in Tech) because they aren't sure how to concisely express their frustration that "socially awkward computer nerd who thinks he's So Smart and makes asshole remarks" is what people think autism is. That the only "representation" we ever get and anyone ever talks about is uwu soft baby or asshole computer nerd, the latter of which is Tech and the former of which is what people seem to be making Tech into.

If you're gonna give Tech a free pass for his actual ableist remark--calling Echo "more machine than man" because he has prosthetics, which you seem to think is fine because he "didn't mean anything by it" and "autistic people struggle to express things appropriately"--then you better be slowing down a little and showing some patience with actual real life autistic people who used a little phrase that you think is bad.

As a letter to all Star Wars fans

I dont know if I can properly articulate how much seeing the Bad Batch infurates me, but also fills me with grief.

The studio had the chance to change things, they really did. They had the change to make things beautiful and amazing, to make this second season one of the best things by unwhitewashing the Batch and the rest of the Clones, but they didn’t.

Instead they are baiting fans with a fan favorite by dropping him into the show, into the most controvercial show in the Star Wars series. Instead, they give the batch fancy new armor that likely too way more time and effort into sculpting and rigging with the models. Instead they have done nothing. And it is so indredibly infuriating, and so incredibly sad.Star Wars does not care about People of color, about our people, traditions, or what we look like. We are going to be erased slowly and painfully, they will not listen to us.

To White Fans who love Star Wars: Please understand that POC people are still people and we deserve to be accurately represented in Star Wars.

Hasn’t Star Wars already taken enough from us? Hasn’t star wars already taken our faces, our cultures, our people, and smeared them across their media as villians or replaced our features slowly with eurocentric features? 

I am full of grief because I loved Star Wars, I still do to an extent, but it is becoming increasingly clear that I do not belong nor exist to them. I cannot name the last time I saw features like mine in their animated series. 

Do not stream the Bad Batch on Disney Plus, do not Pirate The Bad Batch from Disney, do not even watch the series.

Everytime an TBB/Omega fan tries to justify her being whitewashed by saying she's based off of Jangos sister (who's from a comic that whitewashed jango fett and his sis to the max) or worse, based off of Temuras DEAD fucking sister (which has no evidence to support it so stop using dead family members to justify racism)- I die even more inside.

She's supposed to be an unaltered clone of Jango Fett, she should look a lot like him, no-one else. Honestly about to rewrite the bad batch myself since David Felony apparently can't.

You know what would be nice? If I could find a decent Clone/Reader (gn/masc) fanfic that wasn't NSFW and didn't make the clones out to be a bunch of rough & tough fck boys or fetishize them. 🤨
