Ah, the memories in which shaped her, too, were much the same, though many of them more unpleasant than good she would later conclude. Perhaps Marisa was being too cruel. She knew that she could never really have Asriel Belacqua, nor could he truly have her, and yet he was so captivating to her that she continued to flirt with him. It was a taunting, almost mocking flirting, like trying to tantalize a bull. Currently, she could only imagine what he was like in a sexual manner, but some part of him suggested to her that he had a similar cruelty. For whatever reason, this intrigued her more.Β
When she heard Lord Asriel was going to be here tonight, she added touches to herself without thinking. A bit of cleavage, a soft hint of perfume, as well as thinking of things she could say to him. She enjoyed talking with him immensely. Edward wasnβt stupid by any means, but Asrielβs intellect matched her own. Plus, they were both members of the RAI. Unlike she and Edward, they actually had plenty to talk about.Β
The golden monkey spotted Stelmaria from across the room with keen eyes, and without instruction began walking towards her and her human. Marisa followed suit, deciding to play it off as a host greeting one of her guests at this party, at least at first.

Asriel didnβt usually mind such functions, but tonight he felt wanton, perhaps even cagedΒ by the dullest of their society, and although there was meaning for the ambiguity of such an occasion he really only had one reason to attend this eveningβs social cluster of drudgery. βI had hoped you would be here, much better than an eveningβs worth of pointless seminars to put me one to sleep on political agendas, I guessed the mention of dust piqued your interest.βΒ He realised he was speaking rather loudly, and he pursed his lips before it was replaced by a mischievous smile.Β

Β Β Β Β Β Plants were placed over the most sunny spot, while roses had to be taken care of away from the windowβ¦ many adjustments depending of weather, humidity, locations, pots, and even more details only a few people could know. Dinah, Pam probably even better than her, and others flower shops in Gotham.Β
A couple of days at the shop were well deserved, no call from Oracle - weird, but Babs was taking a break, and honestly, Dinah couldnβt say she didnβt need some time off from the crimes around. Although, her body needed actions and adrenaline. She made a mental note to stop by the gym, and more importantly by the pizza place. Only ten minutes, and that four cheese pizza would be in the bottom of her stomach.Β

A breath in, she could smell the strong aroma of lilies, and perhaps various other fragrances, though she didnβt much like lillies, they reminded her of death, and even though she worked closely with such fatality, it brought her back to her fatherβs funeral when she had been a young girl. Blue eyes darted around the room - honestly, she didnβt have a clue when it came to flowers.Β βErm - how about something that says,Β βyay you didnβt die?β - iβll need them sent to Seattle too, if you do postal service?β Walking around she kissed the air with her lips in thought,Β making a small squeaking sound.

Β The small bell rang at the entrance of the shop on her arrival; an odd melody, certainly not a normal bell tone and as she held the heavy door open with her foot she pushed through, taking a brief pause for breath. Eyes wandered around the shop and although it was on the smaller side, it was packed full of flowers- many she hadnβt seen before (though she wasnβt exactly an expert in flora).Β
