Are there any traditions unique to Nenime’s craftworld that differ from others?
Canonically, we don’t know anything definitive about Iybraesil’s society, other than the fact that there are a lot of girls and that they live a long time.
You see the name Iybreasil is a reference to Yggdrasil, Odin’s world tree of Norse mythology. Or his steed? Or a noose for odin? We also got the internal mythology of Morai Heg who cuts of her hand for knowledge, which may be a reference to Odin loosing his eye.
If we ever see some traditions that are unique to Iybraesil, they’ll probably be about crones being able to tell the future, maybe through bone casting, haruspicy, taking out bits. Stuff like that.
thinking of doing a lil iybraesil series

Rishaeron couldn't help himself from smiling, how he'd dreamt of this day. His rifle and backpack were dangling from a nearby tree branch and the fire crackled near his feet and the Ranger just couldn't stop smiling.
Words nearly escaped him, he had spent so long on his travels wishing to see Solaria that now he did, words did not do her justice.
He poked the fire and sent up sparks that illuminated the two Aeldari like dancing fireflies against the warm night.
"I suppose now is the time for a proper catch up, is it not?" He nearly whispered, utterly content in her company.
@solaria-the-seer
"I suppose I could free a few days on my schedule." Rishaeron smiled, she was so cute it took a great deal of restraint to not kiss her there and then. He pressed the pouch into her palm and curled her fingers around it, before bidding it to her with a small kiss to her knuckles.
When the Seer opened the package, a Wraithbone charm fell out that was entangled in a leather cord. A moments unravelling revealed it in detail, it was a blue carved hand in the style of Iyabresil's world rune, but a black tear fell from the palm instead of the usual diamond. No psychic power or anything tangible emitted from the charm but it was obviously hand carved into a solid piece of Wraithbone in an effort that would have taken many months to complete.
"I never walked the Artisans Path, maybe someday I will, but it was something to do on the nights I missed you."
‘I’m glad to hear you can find time in your busy schedule for me. There’s clearly a lot going on around here.’ Solaria gestured to the quiet wilderness that surrounded them, the only noises they could hear aside from the crackling fire was the native fauna in the dark, none of which on this planet would be a threat to them.
Solaria couldn’t help but blush as he kissed her knuckles, she wished deeply that he had planted that kiss on her lips instead, and she too fought back the desire to kiss him as she took the pouch.
As Solaria finished unwrapping the charm, her mouth fell open in amazement.
‘It’s... it’s beautiful.’ She breathed, words momentarily leaving her. It was a simple gift, but it spoke volumes. ‘I... I’ll keep this forever, thank you.’ Solaria reached out and took a hold of Rishaeron’s hand and smiled. ‘Perhaps you should walk the path of the Artisan, this is the most precious gift anyone has ever given me.’
Rishaeron beamed, he never expected Solaria to like his trinket too much and joy radiated from him like sunlight.
"I'm glad you like it, I've wanted to give you it for a long time. It turns out in a universe as big as ours it takes real doing for two wanderers to find themselves in one place like this." Then there was an idea, one that captured the face of the Ranger in a curious scouting of the grounds nearby.
"It's true, I'm no artisan and I doubt I ever will be but I have time and patience. Maybe enough time and patience to build something on this world, something of ours. Somewhere we may both come to rest during our travels and when the skein sees fit, somewhere to bring is together." Rishaeron smiled, a sense of hope filling his chest beside the adulation already present there when he was with Solaria.
‘Like it? I love it Rishaeron!’ Solaria gaze Rishaeron a warm smile before pulling him into a big hug. ‘Thank you so much!’
‘I suppose it does, the chances of us running into each other are quite small when you think about it.’ Solaria mused as she released him and sat back down, before placing the charm he had made her around her neck. ‘If I didn’t know better I’d say fate enjoys bringing us together.’
Solaria listened to his plan, her smile turned to an expression of shock, and then enthusiasm.
‘Are you... suggesting we build ourselves a house on this world? Just... for the two of us?’

Crone
Aeldari shades yet claimed the streets of the Crone world Moraiannath.
Deranged echoes of the past, their existence was a mute, opalescent purgatory. Armed with harpoons and armored in an elder style, they seemed forever doomed to storm after the shadows of unseen leviathans as they passed over the shattered metropolis of Moraiannath.
Nenime paid them no mind as she plasma-balled into a wide octagonal pool, set at a major nexus point. In the gathering twilight, the water was green and clear, and a small wealth of waystones shimmered in its depths.
Nenime came back up in a wash, with a handful of those precious treasures. “Look what I found,” she sang.
@solaria-the-seer
But to Nenime, it was as good as a promise. Things usually worked out for her. Content, she spent the rest of the way dangling her legs over the ramp, humming to herself as the statues passed by and the barest hint of drizzle bagan to fall from the sky.
They came to a stop in the outer grounds of the palace, within a grand, ruined greenhouse. Rain pattered on those glass panes that yet remained on the dome above. The riotous flora of the old Dominion had grown wild and unrestrained here, covering most of what had been.
Nenime could only take in her surroundings for a moment, the shadows were growing long. “We’ll continue on foot.” The Corsair Princess told the seer as she checked her brace of pistols. A garden path led to the crumbling facade of the palace. “Will you need anything?”
Solaria watched Nenime, curious as to how she could remain so calm and chipper despite everything going on around them. How could someone be so calm in such an uncaring universe, especially on a Crone World.
As they dismounted, Solaria was momentarily tempted to take a few cuttings of the wild flora, but then thought against it, it was beautiful, but there was no telling if it was tainted.
Solaria placed a hand on the hilt of her witch blade, ‘I think I should be fine, if that changes you’ll be the first to know.’ She gave Nenime a nod, ‘lead the way.’

Solaria herself couldn't stop smiling either, it was impossible to stop when, every time she looked over at Rishaeron she found him grinning. His smile was so warm and contagious. She could look at it all night.
Her own travelling gear was stowed at the base of the same tree Rishaeron was using for his. She would pitch her tent later. For now she just wanted to spend time with him.
She had missed him so much more than she had ever cared to admit, even to herself. And she had leaped at the chance to travel with him for a time when the opportunity arose.
She tossed another branch onto the fire after he poked it, sending yet more embers rising into the sky and flashed him a smile.
'I think that sounds lovely.' She replied, grinning. 'This time, no running off on me okay.'
An unbidden blush rose to his cheeks and he made a half hearted attempt to hide it in the fire light.
"Running off is more or less my job, Solaria. But speaking of..." Rishaeron crawled and reached over to his pack before sitting back down with it. A moments rooting around produced a pouch and a charmingly boyish excitement in the veteran Ranger.
"Close your eyes for a moment, Seer. No peaking, or prognosticating. It isn't much, but I made a little something while on my adventures..."
'As is mine.' Solaria replied with a smile. 'And we've run off from each other too much for the past few decades. Can we just have a couple of days?' She asked, she was asking herself as much as she was asking him.
Solaria gave Rishaeron a curious look as he pulled the pouch from his bag, but she did as he asked and closed her eyes, before holding out her hands.

Solaria stood watch while Nenime dived down into the depths. She glanced around nervously. This world was not a safe place to be. She had her Witchblade drawn, and it’s tip seemed to point towards any unexpected sounds that reached their nexus point.
So far nothing had troubled them, but Solaria was aware of the dangers that lurked in the shadows.
When Nenime surfaced, Solaria glanced over her shoulder, and despite the gloom and danger all around them, she smiled.
‘Wow, nearly a dozen stones.’ She breathed, crouching down to take them from Nenime. ‘Are there any more down there?’
Nenime wiped some hair from her face. “A few.”
Her girls tinkered with a hovering, egg-shaped canister. After a moment, a honeycomb structure came out from the top, where they could set the spiritstones.
Meanwhile, Nenime followed Solaria’s eyes. Fluted spires glimmered darkly in the distance, and ahead, at the end of a statue-lined road, was the ruined palace. “Don’t psych yourself out,” she told the Seer. “I’ve walked this world before. The shades we’ve seen are harmless.”
‘Is it worth going back down for them now?’ Solaria asked, eyeing the water, as if she were about to dive in herself.
‘Are you sure? They seem to carry a lot of weapons.’ Solaria paused. ‘They’re strange. I almost wonder if I could talk to them peacefully.’
She snapped back to the moment, ‘Anyway, let’s grab a few more Spirit stones, then we can focus on our other goal.’
“You won’t get much out of them. They’re echoes of… a lament, perhaps.” Nenime shrugged, “Who can say? All the same, we’ll want to find some cover before nightfall.”
With that she dove back for the final waystones.
‘I would certainly like to try someday.’ Solaria replied, ‘they fascinate me. There could be all kinds of forgotten knowledge, or glimpses of it hidden within them.’ She said wistfully, her worries momentarily forgotten.
‘Nightfall? What happens at night?’ She glanced around, this world was dark and gloomy at the best of times, and cautious words from the Corsair Princess did little to put Solaria at ease. Solaria waited for Nenime to emerge, once again on edge.
‘Why did I let her rope me into this adventure.’ She sighed.
The Corsair Princess emerged after a moment, holding onto the reminder of the sacred stones.
“A good harvest of soulstones, as promised. Top quality, this close to the Womb.” she said, emerging out of the pool. The stones were stowed away while she grabbed the great mass of her hair and squeezed out a deal of water.
“Now, shall we call that duty sorted?” Nenime gestured to the road ahead triumphantly. “We’ve got some salvaging to do.”
‘More than I thought we would find.’ Solaria added, her mind still wondering about what lurked in the shadows at night. ‘I suppose we should. We don’t want to linger here too long…’
'What… exactly are we here to salvage Nenime? You were a bit vague about what it was you wanted to find out here.’
Her girls got busy loading the waystone canisters in the nearby Wave Serpent.
“So I was. Forgive me, it’s unwise to speak openly of such things.” Nenime said, leading the way up the vehicle’s ramp. “But I’m happy to tell you now that we discovered a runically-sealed vault beneath that palace over there during our last visit. I want you to give it a look.”
She made it sound like a small favor, between friends.
The Wave Serpent was soon moving through a promenade of lurid statues.
Solaria climbed aboard the Wave Serpent behind Nenime as she explained their purpose here. She perked up immediately. 'I see. Well, I'd love to have a look at it. Hopefully there's something of use still inside.' She pondered. 'I can't... promise I can get it open until I have a look at it though.' She admitted softly.
