Roasted Strawberry Ricotta Toast
Roasted strawberries turn jammy and concentrated, then spread onto thick ricotta that’s both creamy and slightly tangy. The bread soaks up all the juices while staying crisp enough to bite through cleanly.

if you're struggling with your writing right now, I just want to say, now more than ever, it's needed, and I mean it.
It doesn't have to be a big think piece novel, an elaborate examination of a certain subject or opinion, your poetry doesn't have to have an obvious political angle, but yes, it also absolutely can.
It doesn't have to be light hearted escapism to heal our collective wounds for a while, but it can.
It doesn't have to be anything other than authentic to you.
We're nearing, or already in, an era where everything feels like it is becoming less and less authentic, further and further detached from people's true experiences, genuine voices, algorithms feeding us the most shallow, trend-following, manufactured by big-bucks, AI spouted, sterile material and no matter what you're writing, be it a mind-blowing, life-shattering profound novel, or a casual piece of fun entertainment (maybe both!) so long as you're writing and creating from the heart, out of passion for writing it, it's needed out here right now 💗

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
Hell yeah moon holiday
Ooh coming up we should celebrate
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)
MOON DAY MOON DAY MOON DAY
moon day is 20th July!!!
Scheduling this a day earlier to remind you all and myself about the Moon Day tomorow!
Happy moon day to all who celebrate
This is your reminder to prep for Moon Day on July 20th.
getting into doctor who as a kid: yeah so you really don't need any previous knowledge to enjoy the show, most episodes - sure, except some series finales! - work fine as stand-alones. don't let the longevity of doctor who intimidate you, but if you want a good starting point, series 1, series 5 or series 10 could be good picks :D
getting into doctor who as a twentysomething: I can't have a substantial discussion about the time war without citing kurt vonnegut's slaughterhouse five so keep that in mind, but then again my own perspective is limited by the fact I refuse to start gallifrey without at least a respectful working knowledge of the political worldbuilding contributed by the VNAs. still working through the EDAs as of now (please don't let me start talking about them and t s eliot's The Wasteland, I won't stop,) but ideally i'd also like to read Machiavelli's The Prince beforehand, too. craziest reveal in doctor who? ... oh, that river is amy and rory's daughter? me personally I think about the barn scene in Listen every day..... however I still wonder if we will ever find out whether space babies intentionally made a faction paradox reference. now THAT would be wild

My favorite trope is “janitor in headphones continues cleaning through extreme action”
I’ve been the janitor in headphones and trust me it’s an act we just don’t wanna be involved in the nonsense
