A hoard/identity blog for @solarwindsempire! Where we'll reblog terms that either fit us collectively, or fit certain headmates. These terms might be genders, sexualities, pronoun flags, plural identities/functions, etc.
We'll try and tag things with which headmate relates to it, if it's a singular headmate and if we can figure out who it is ^^ [just something like "[name]'s hoard"] We'll also lookout for any that we should tw for mentions of things

[Image ID: A flag with seven equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are a five-stripe gradient from purple into brown and then bright mint green and turquoise. End ID.]
term and flag by me as a gift for @rgbfall :)
[DNI ID: A flag with seven equally-sized horizontal stripes: pink, orange, yellow, white, turquoise, blue, and periwinkle from top to bottom. The DNI reads “DNI: Anti-mspec lesbians/gays/straights, exclusionist, anti-lesboy/turigirl, racist/islamophobic/antisemitic, TERF/SWERF/radfem, transmed/truscum, anti-endo, proshipper, conservative, trumpie, anti-mogai, or if you don’t believe in transandrophobia/transmisandry.” There is a picture of a cute shooting star plushie on the right. End ID.]
A gender that is tied to shapeshifting and/or polymorphing. People who experience this gender might take the "form" of another gender, willingly or involuntary, without necessarily identifying as the gender. They might act, change their appearance*, feel like the gender and call themselves the gender. This gender is also more centered around the mimicry part of shapeshifting and/or polymorphing.
- This can be because of a coping/defensive mechanism (ej. a gnc morphing as more comfortable and/or desirable genders that make them feel more comfortable! or a xenogender user shifting as a binary gender to feel secure in the moment ),
-For fun ( ej. they find the gender very cool and enjoy it so they morph into it! they might also have a hearttype for the subject of the gender! )
- A shapeshifterkin / polymorphkin ( alterhuman ) whose gender perception and experiences are affected by their kintype! ( ej. for each being they shift into / take form of their gender changes! )
Morphing and/or shifting in terms of this gender means when the user presents as chosen/current gender. (Crappy wording here, I apologize! Hopefully it gets the point across).
*not as in physically changing their form. That is impossible (sadly)! what I meant by this is, changing looks, with makeup or using clothing that resembles the gender that is morphed into.
Edit: me big stupid was thinking of the wrong term I was thinking of defense mechanism not coping mechanism! Sorry! I also added examples!
Reason of coining:
This flag was made to express the experience of a shapeshifterkin/polymorhkin whose identity changes their perception of gender and how they experience it!
Inclusivity:
This gender is tied to alterhumanity, though you don't need to be one to use it! Anyone can use this! (though I would prefer that people from my DNI didn't directly interact with this post!).
Color meanings:
Dark blue: Genders tied to objects.
Purple: Genders tied to otherworldly beings.
Pink: Genders tied to fiction.
Brown: Genders tied to worldly creatures.
Golden: Enjoyment, love and/or a connection to said gender.
Yellow: Happiness.
White: Inclusivity. Any gender.
Form meanings:
This flag was made in circles to resemble fluent changes. Like when a polymorph smoothly changes it's form!
White surrounding yellow because with inclusivity comes happiness.
The curved arrows resemble change between genders.
The circles in the middle resembles mimicry (and the coping/defensive reasoning) of said gender. It is meant to resemble the phenomenon in nature called as "eyespot" when an animal's pattern imitate eyes to scare off predators.
Alternate Names:
Gendermimic , Gendershifter.
Feel free to use this as well if you feel it fits you more!
Alternate Flag:
This one has more tame coloring...no reason for that! But you can add meaning to it! All the colors mean the same!
Though, the big circle in the middle is meant to signify that with change comes inclusivity.
Similar terms (that I know of):
Genderfluid , Shapeshiftergender / Shapeshiftian , Genderflux (like agenderflux and all those flux buddies).
»»--► A non-xenine umbrella term that encompasses all things related to the otherworldly/ethereal. It is usually centered around the idea of otherworldly ideas/concepts/things and/or connection to concepts/ideas/things from other planets, whether fictional or real, but not always. One may identify with Aetherine if they do not fit underneath this definition as well.
This term is usually a gender, but doesn't have to be exclusively a gender.
Aetherine itself is not a xenogender. Please do not tag it as such ^^
»»--► Themes that fall under Aetherine, but aren't limited to:
► Feeling as if one's identity is connected towards concepts/ideas/things from other planets
► An identity related to outer-space and the concepts/ideas/things surrounding it
► Feeling a disconnect from Earth's concepts/ideas/things due to neurodivergence, plurality, alterhumanity, or any other reason
►Having a connection to another planet(s) due to being alterhuman
► One's identity being related to species from different planets
► One's identity feeling not from this planet
And more! Again Aetherine is not exclusive to these experiences, and you may coin subterms, we'd love to see them!
Etymology + other terms below the cut.
»»--► 'Aetherine' is inspired off of the word 'aether', which is a varient spelling of the word 'ether', which means "The regions of space beyond the earth's atmosphere; the heavens". The suffix -ine is just a suffix we found.
»»--► The in-nature term for aetherine would be AETHIN (aetherine-in-nature)
»»--► Aethous / aethine - The adjective form of aetherine ; having aetherine qualities (similar to masculine, feminine, kenoine, ect.) Can apply to gender, orientation, identity, presentation, or any of the list.
»»--► Aethinity - Equivalent to aethous / aethine; a term similar to "femininity" and "masculinity".
»»--► Aethic - aetherine-alignment. Similar to xenic, kenic, and masc/fem aligned.
»»--► Aether / Aethan - The aetherine equivalent to "man" and "woman"
A term for someone who feels as if their identity is inherently interwoven with itself; every aspect impacts, affects, or is impacted or affected by every other aspect.

Someone who is teladen might feel that their neurodivergence influences their sexuality, their sexuality influences their gender, and their gender influences their experience with being neurodivergent. Someone else might feel that their physical disability inherently affects their experience with mental illness and that that itself is modulates their interests.
Everyone is this way to some extent, but it’s for folks who experience all aspects of their identity as part of one interwoven whole. Instead of parts that sometimes interact, a teladen identity is one thing with different aspects.
For example, I’m gay, and my experience being gay influences my gender. If I wasn’t gay, my gender would be different.
Teladen can also be used to refer to one part of one’s identity that influences all other parts of their identity.
Teladen is not a vesil, gender, or sexuality. It can be applied to those (a teladen gender would be one that influences all other aspects of your identity), and some vesils can otherwise be teladen, but a teladen is not a vesil (e.g. a non-teladen vesil would be cats influencing all aspects of one’s identity, and a teladen vesil would be one’s sexuality doing the same).
Our system has really been pushing the boundaries of what counts as a 'phantom limb', so we made our own term! Xenophantom!
Xenophantom: A phantom 'limb' that isn't a limb.
Some xenophantom terms:
Phantom Flashback: A xenophantom of a traumatic event. This includes exotrauma.
Phantom Visualizations: A xenophantom of your headmates or people from past lives with you in meatspace.
Phantom Land: A xenophantom of the land around you being different (feeling leaves crunching beneath your feet, feeling your back on a tree, ect).
Phantom Clothing: A xenophantom of a piece of clothing or an accessory.
Feel free to make your own xenophantom terms, these are just the ones we experience! Preferably stick to the pattern of the flags if you decide to make your own flag, but we won't stop you if you don't.
Dualters or dualmates are a pair/group of system members who are directly connected to each other, but not a side or sub-system. They typically form together, but not always. They may also share a source or have an extremely close bond to one another.
The flag is based on the side-system flag to show their similarities, but the darker colors are on the outside and the white in the middle is meant to show that they are separate, while them fading together is to represent their closeness. The colors? Well, Zim insisted it looked like Zim and GIR.
This isn't a system term coining blog but Zim desperately wanted a label for Zim and GIR, but couldn't find anything that fit them. So Zim made one! this isnt an end to the impromptu hiatus but it might mean i'm finally getting back into the swing of things. See you lovelies soon!
»»--► A gender related to the creation of a protostar ; a gender related to the birth of a star.
»»--► An example of this gender may be that the gender may feel like it's pulling in other genders and causing them to "clump" together and form one thing, but there are several ways to identify with this gender.
