WARRIOR CAT HYBRID SPECIATION AS PROMISED!

disclaimer: i am not a biologist, i just passed AP bio. i know this isn’t exactly how things work but these cats can talk and have a concept of cat hell so whatever.

basically, the ancients are a hybrid of f. catus and f. silvestris, f. bellator. they are a very small species created by genetic isolation of the hybrid up in the mountains and in the lake territory.

after they moved to the forest territory, they interbred with f. catus to create the hybrid f. catus bellator. i’m calling this a hybrid subspecies. this subspecies also has a golden pelt gene.

cats like firestar are purely domestic cats. he and other kittypets are much smaller than their clan counterparts. they can interbreed, though, and are completely fertile.

f. catus bellator genes tend to be dominant to f. catus ones, and many hybrid offspring tend to take on the traits of the former. they are bigger than f. catus and have ear tufts, for example. however, they have a full range of pelt and color patterns like f. catus.

this concept can be used however anyone feels, and i’d love to see what others do with it, with credit! feel free to ask questions as well :)

ive been seeing a new wave of transmedicalists lately I think we gotta start being vocal again about how nasty they are. you don't need to take hormones or have surgery to be a trans person. changing your name and pronouns is gender affirming care. wearing new clothes and hair and makeup is part of transitioning too. you dont need to pass to be trans, you don't need to be male or female.

nonbinary, agender, genderfluid, genderqueer people are trans too if that's a label they want to use for themselves. and anyone who says otherwise is a piece of shit. it's not "anti-transitioning" to say so, it's anti-telling other people what to do with their bodies. it's pro-minding your own fucking business and letting people do what they want with their gender and treating them with compassion and enthusiasm

Please try and reach out for help and reassurance in a way that doesn’t involve guilt tripping your loved ones.

I understand what it feels like to feel abandoned or unloved or any number of things but telling a loved one “I guess you don’t love me” or “you’re just going to leave me like everyone else” isn’t the way to handle it.

As someone who has been on both sides of it, that is hurtful. While you may tell yourself it’s not personal, it doesn’t change that it hurts to be accused of something when you love someone so much. It’s also exhausting and just overall something that can damage your relationships. In some cases, it can create self fulfilling prophecies. (Things like accusing a loved one of planning to abandon you like everyone else take a toll.)

This could be much better framed as “I’m feeling really insecure today. Could you please give me some reassurance?”

Remember that your feelings aren’t facts. Don’t accuse your loved ones of things like this.

Something I think about this, and a lot and recently due to the awful terf arguing about "mutilation" rn, is that many terfs think that boobs are an essential source of feminity and removing them is ruining "perfect female bodies", when in reality that's so unfair to say. I know so many cis women who've had their boobs removed, bought binders, and also used tape because they don't associate their femininity with their breasts. They can be women WITHOUT their boobs. Many women find them in the way, and there's nothing wrong with that. By saying that it's 'mutilation', they're not only hurting trans people, they're hurting cis people who have done it to feel MORE like themselves. Terfs do an excellent job hurting other women in their useless "mission" to "defend 'real' women".

(this wasnt meant to shift attention away from the hurt it causes trans people, but it's also important to think about)

yes! exactly! trans people aren't the only people that are allowed to customize their body, and they sure as hell aren't the only ones who do! I know of cis butch lesbians taking testosterone to be more masc, which is totally valid!
