A 36-artist artbook that ran through 2019. We raised $7.4k to environmental causes. This zine will not be reprinted.

so I very much don't think ANYONE from like. however many years ago cares about seeing my donation receipts (of which are included whatever monies I gain from BTV solas zine on gumroad, which was a total of $27 this year) but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ here are the ones from 2023

Oh yeah! Totally forgot to update this platform; we donated $130 for profits in 2021 to Ocean Conservancy (https://oceanconservancy.org/) to help the environment. 

At the moment, our PDFs are still hosted on gumroad. They are donated yearly.

it won't be there long bc we're thinking of shifting to ko-fi or itch.io for future hosting (gumroad's CEO decided to violate privacy practices and it leaves a bad taste), but here ya go in the meantime!

OK. Here is my 2020 donation breakdown for $365 from various shop items & gumroad. $125 of this was from @solaszine ’s digital PDF. 

$50 to CIER $100 to Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee $75 to AO3 $50 to Wikimedia $90 to individual folks who needed it

The PDF of the Beyond the Veil: A Solas Charity Artbook is available online at https://gum.co/solaszine ! Profits will be totalled and donated biannually to various charities that need it, with receipts to be posted on social media.

A final, formal thank you to all of you who made this project possible. Today we have wrapped up our finances; for the 30 PDF copies Mar–Aug, and 31 calendars from @goodomonths , we were able to donate an additional $681 to Outright International!

Thank you for joining us on this project. We will soon be moving the PDF to be hosted on gumroad with sales going to charity in perpetuity, receipts posted biannually.

hi! i recently bought a copy of the pdf, it's been a week since then and the only email i've received about it is saying that it's shipped(which confused me since it's a pdf) just wanted to know if i should wait a little longer or if something is up?

Please look in your emails for one titled “BTV Solas Zine PDF” that is sent from [email protected]! If you don’t see it, please email us at [email protected] with a screenshot of your purchase. We’ll get it to you!! The bigcartel “shipping confirmed” email is one that occasionally gets sent from our storefront to check off our active shop orders. So—potential two emails a PDF purchaser may receive; one contains the PDF link, the other is one that just says it’s sent. Apologies for the confusion!!!

Oh yeah! We’ve kept our PDF zine available through this time (seemed like a simple enough thing to email out every week)!

Proceeds go to OutRight charity after the GOmonths shipping side is all wrapped up (we tend to give a leeway of 3 months after shipment for customer resolutions).

We didn’t realize bigcartel set a limited amount of copies for us when we didn’t put down a copy amount ourselves, so we just fixed it back to ~100 copies, which is more than enough for the next week or so >:)

Is there any way to get a PDF of the Zine still? I couldn't afford it at the time and I'm a little devastated about not being able to buy it still. @_@ Even without the merch.

It’s on the shop site right now (eggzines.bigcartel.com) !! Until March 19th. We’re mainly hosting the extras of another zine we organized, so proceeds from the BTV pdfs will be going towards Outright International (LGBTQ+ charity) at the moment!

The Beyond the Veil: Solas Charity Artbook came just in time for Christmas. Thank you so much, @solaszine​, for organizing it. As far as I know, they’re in the final hours of their PDF sales, so grab it while you can, friends! This is a wonderful artbook full of ridiculously talented artists.

Here’s the proof of donation for now! Paying through Paypal routes it through their organization before paying Earthworks (in 15-45 days), so we’ll do the big wrap-up post when Earthworks receives our donation.

Since the physical options sold out already, we will be mailing the physical extras tomorrow (December 19)! You will receive a tracking number through the mail later that night.

PDFs will continue to follow the stated timeline of being emailed out on Dec 27. Orders for those will close on Dec 24.
