I wanted to come at you with the fresh hot PSA because it’s something that needs to be said. If a character is from a different time period, realm, universe, galaxy, or someplace that isn’t the 21st century they’re going to have different societal norms then we have now and that’s okay. However, what isn’t okay is muns getting hate or bombarded with messages that their character is wrong because of slang they use, their views on society, or the way they live because it isn’t what we consider to be correct by today’s societal norms. Characters are shaped by their surroundings and what we as rpers need to remember is that the mun doesn’t equal the muse and that we need to be respectful to other muns and not think they’re shit or wrong because their character is from a different place in time.
Dian sat on a bench in an invisible shield holding cell. Three guards watching him.
It had only been a week since the siren captured him. He could only imagine what
Michelle and Ten were thinking about his disappearance. He'd gone out for a day
with his son and never returned. It was a mistake he wished he never made.
Listening in to the guards, he heard them mention The Doctor and other possible
companions. That made him ball his fist in anger. They had no right to mention
them but he held his tongue. There was no reason to entertain them.
"Hey, war loomer! Is it true The Doctor is also harboring a freak of nature?"
The guard smirked at Dian as he stood near the cell. Dian stood up and walked
over, getting as close as he could without hitting the shield. "He has one, Doesn't
he? When The Siren captures her too I'm going to mind fuck her until her half-
human freak brain turns to goo and then... I'm going to fuck it again!"
Years ago Dian had asked The Doctor to change his 'mission;' The thing that drove
the war loomer side of him that he held back. If he had to have it, he wanted the
mission to be something he truly wanted to do. That being, protecting the ones he
loved. Hearing this guard threaten Michelle not only made him boiling mad but did
the one thing no one should attempt with a war loomer. They threatened to
compromise his mission.
Blue eyes glazing over, his face seemed to turn to stone. There was no longer an
angry expression. There was no expression at all. Within seconds he shoved his
hand right through the shield, his skin turning red from the force field but
Dian didn't respond to it at all. Instead, he grabbed the guard by their uniform
and pulled them right through the shield; Their body turning to nothing but bones
as they entered the cell.
"OTHER FUCK! I THOUGHT IT WAS DEFECTIVE!" One of the other guards shouted
as he raised his stazer gun. The third guard followed their lead. It was this suspected
defectiveness that prompted them to put Dian in this type of holding cell. They were
smart enough to know it was useless on a normal war loomer. "STAY BACK OR
WE'LL SHOOT!"
Dian bent down to the dead guard and looked at his stazer gun. It was damaged
in the act of pulling him through the shield but it looked like his hip knife seemed
undamaged. Grabbing it, he stood up and walked over side of the cell where the
keypad was. Once again he stuck his arm through the shield and smashed the
keypad. His was left with large blisters from the shield but it didn't matter
to him. He was free.
"I MEAN IT, SOLDIER 306! GET TO THE BACK OF THE CELL!" The guard warned.
He knew The Master wanted him alive but he would kill him if he had to.
"Oh, rassilon's left nut I am not getting paid enough for this!" The third
guard announced and turned around to run off. Dian watched him carefully,
waiting for the right moment. When he saw the guard turn around for a
moment to look back at the scene Dian threw the knife, hitting him directly
in the left eye. Without a second of reflection, he turned to the last surviving
guard and finally showed a hint of emotion. He glared at him.
The guard held his gun up for a while, contemplating what to do. After a moment
he lowered his weapon in surrender. It was obvious he wasn't seasoned in war.
He was nothing more than an underpaid guard that mostly dealt with rowdy fans
of The Master. He'd never even fired a gun before. If he missed or The war loomer
got the upper hand somehow he'd be dead. He didn't want to risk dying when he
had a reason to go home at night. "Listen, man, I have loomlings! I can just
let you go and you let me go. How's that?"
"Where's Th'Siren?" Dian asked.
"I don't know! Probably in her room looking at herself. She's vain as fuck!"
That was all Dian needed to know. It was all he needed from him. Dian stepped
forward and as he did so the guard raised his gun once more. The guard's speed
wasn't quick enough for Dian lunged at him, grabbing the gun and it went off
between them. It was the guard that slowly slipped down to the floor. He would
live; Likely start to regenerate soon and that was the only mercy Dian would
give.
Before heading to the Siren's quarters he changed into dead guard's uniform to
blend in. The only thing he needed was the helmet. Luckily, the guards had set
them down nearby. It was something most hated to wear. He needed it to hide his
face. And it worked. He managed to walk rather freely through the halls all the
way to her quarters. Kicking the door open, he entered with determination.
"Siren! Where ya at?!Ain't gonna ask ya again!"
I’m posting this now because I’m impatient xDDD but on the 29th it’ll be the one year anniversary of the poly ship between @twiicetheheart (Michelle), @soldier306 (Dian), and this muse (Ten). This ship honestly means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you, Michi, for shipping your muse with my boys! Parallel Michelle is literally everything to them. Honestly, they would be nothing without her. She’s the glue that holds them together. Although this song is not really the typical “sappy love song,” main Attraction = main focus in life. Or pretty much their entire universe. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling haha! I hope you like it!
