Head Canons

1. Iris is a terrible liar. She has her moments where a blind and deaf fool might believe her, but for the most part, if she’s lying, everyone knows it.

2. Due to being caught too close to an explosion on the battle field, Iris is mostly deaf in her right ear and has blurry vision in her right eye. This sometimes caused her to lose balance and depth perception, though she compensates very well.

3. Iris inherited the most charming smile from her father and she knows exactly how to use it. If you cause her enough trouble, it’ll be the last thing you see before she kills you.

4. The way Iris speaks gets much more formal when she's irritated  bored, uncomfortable or avoiding a subject.

5. Because of the composition of her family and the way she was raised, Iris tends to be far more comfortable with guys then other girls and therefore has far more guy friends then girl friends.

When did you started using a handgun and knives, Iris? Was it sometime shortly after going into the hero biz or what?

Pretty soon after I started. I was about fourteen and starry eyed. I wanted to do things the way my dad did, but I quickly learned it wasn’t a practical idea in my time. There wasn’t enough prison space for all the criminals we caught and some repeat offenders just had to be put down.
