{I honestly anticipated the fandom getting really angry over the new season so I’ve been on other blogs recently. I understand all the reasons but honestly seeing all the things people say makes me uneasy and stressed.  I guess this is why I don’t do the whole fandom thing. 

I’m going to try to do replies on this blog but I might end up on my OCs until everything dies down. I just want to have fun. I don’t need this stress.}

"I shouldn't be in love with you!" (Cause why not- work is boring)

“L-love…?”

It was all beginning to make sense now. How Hikari acted around him, the way she spoke. How had he not seen it before…? 

And how was he supposed to respond? His fingers clasped around his skateboard, shaking with anxiety. He couldn’t figure out a single thing to say. Not a single word.

He couldn’t handle it all. He couldn’t.

So he ran.

She already had tears filing her eyes, feeling guilty at her fight, and then when she slipped, she didn’t want to tell him like this. 

But without a breath, when he turned and ran, her face was covered. 

She stood there in tears, just staring at the ground as the water from her eyes fell. Gripping her sweater she huffed, trying to stop the tears and catch her breath. She knew this would happen.

She loved Yata, but Yata didn’t love her. 

It was finally time, she had caught her breath, and though her eyes were puffy and red, she finally was able to slow down for a moment, when she started walking back to the bar. She didn’t care if anyone saw her like this, she didn’t want Yata to see her like this.

But she wanted her brother more.

She needed her big brother.

He felt horrible. He sprinted down the streets, barely able to think. He had never wanted to hurt her. Never. But he had. He was horrible.

As he stopped, he found himself standing outside of HOMRA. Of course he would end up here. Where else would he have gone…? But she would come here as well.

That was fine. It was just as much of a home to her as it was to him. Maybe… he could apologize.

He stepped inside, ignoring everyone before falling onto the couch. He would just have to wait and figure out what to even say to her.

He had never felt so angry and empty at the same time before. It was strange really how someone’s actions could affect a person. He had let out most of the initial anger. Broke some things. Deleted old pictures. He did everything he could to break off any connection.

But the pain still lingered.

He sat at the bar, head lying on the wooden counter as he stared a hole into the wall. He hadn’t budged from the spot in what seemed like hours. Hearing his name, his eyes drifted to Mikoto.

“What is it?” he grumbled, not wanting to move but pushing himself upright as he spoke. He swiveled in the chair to face him, a frown plastered on his face. 

                ♚Talking about sensitive matters in order to cheer another up had never been a skill that Mikoto possessed. If it at any time happened to occur – it would have been completely by accident. He would tend to avoid matters such as this. No answer proved worthy enough as an excuse for why this changed now. Perhaps it was just that defeated expression plastered on his face. ❝You want to talk about it?❞

His eyes cast towards the ground, glaring into the wooden floor boards. As a matter of fact, he didn’t want to talk about it. He wanted to forget it ever happened. If he could, he would have burned the memories from his mind. Too bad that was impossible. “What’s talking going to help? Talking about this isn’t going to change the past. It’s done. It’s over. I don’t want to think about it.” Like that was going to happen.

Yata sat silently for a moment, feeling the anger build up inside once more. He couldn’t stand it. 

 “Mikoto... What should I do...?”
