Somehow So’lek, Jake Sully, and Lo’ak end up in the hands of the RDA (probs some rescue gone wrong) and who comes to the rescue? Their very angry and annoyed mates. Neytiri, Tamtey and Tsireya girl boss their way into the base and save their dumb dumb boys. They will be getting a very stern lecture once they’re safe and sound.
Two bachelor parties bump into each other in the forest and it turns into "the hangover" na'vi version. Cue shenanigans and three angry mates bailing their boyfriends from sky people jail.
Description: When a simple RDA mission goes wrong, So'lek is forced to confront his feelings towards you.

A/n: My first So'lek fic! This is one of the ideas I mentioned in this post. I've been playing the game nonstop, and I'm obsessed with him! I hope this does him justice.
For a while, So'lek viewed you as someone he needed to mentor, to guide you through your new life on Pandora. After all, you came out of that metal box with practically no knowledge of the Na'vi life. He felt it was his responsibility to teach you the ways. Surely Alma would not, and the other Sarentu were just as clueless.
The time when you needed him to guide you was long gone. You had adjusted well, pushing yourself and easily taking down the RDA. You traded in your TAP clothes for true Na'vi attire.
The first time So'lek watched you walk into to HQ in your new clothes given to you by the Aranahe, his heart skipped a beat. At the time, he believed it was just from the pride of seeing you becoming a true Na'vi.
How wrong he was.
The more and more independent you grew, the more So'lek started to realize that maybe these feelings were beyond what a mentor should feel. In the beginning, he believed he was so watchful because you were still learning. Now, he's not so sure.
Anytime you go alone to take down RDA sites, he feels this gnawing in his chest, like something is trying to crawl its way out when you're not near. Finally subsiding when you return, safe and unharmed.
He knew this was different because he didn't feel this way for any of the others. Although he wasn't sure how to approach it, or if he even should. So, he didn't show it.
That was until everything went wrong.
You had told everyone where you were going; you always did. What you didn't know is that So'lek was always the first one to make sure you're back when you said you were going to be.
Eclipse was soon. You should have been back by now. Again, So'lek had that gnawing feeling in his chest. This time, it was different. He had this feeling of dread that he couldn't shake.
Deciding he had had enough, he went to Teylan, maybe you had already returned, and he just didn't know it.
This idea was quickly shut down when Teylan informed him that you had, in fact, not returned. Seeing the look on his face, he spoke up, "Do you think something is wrong?" So'lek ignored his question, already heading out to find you. Trying to push down the awful feeling in his chest.
It was supposed to be a simple mission. Get into the site, undetected, sabotage it, and shut it down. Easy enough, you had done this many times, often alone, like you are today.
You didn't expect to be spotted. It all happened so quickly, one second you were sneaking your way through the base, being as quiet as possible. The next, you're being shot at from all directions.
You had failed to notice a soldier walking along the base wall. When you walked by, he spotted you and immediately alerted everyone of your presence. With no time to even process what was happening, shots were being fired.
You managed to duck to safety, but this wouldn't last long. They had you backed into a corner.
Putting up a good fight, you shot down as many AMPs and soldiers as you could, but you were outnumbered and running out of arrows.
Fighting them all off was almost impossible, but there didn't seem to be any other way out of this. Swallowing your fear, you ran out from your hiding spot in an attempt to get to higher ground. If you could just get up onto the wall, and duck behind some crates, you would actually have a chance.
As you were climbing the wall, you felt a searing hot pain bloom across your side. There was no time to check; you had to make it to safety, so you pushed through the pain.
You made it onto the wall and behind the crates, just as planned. Taking this newfound advantage to take down more RDA soldiers, but there were still so many, at least a dozen of them. They would make their way up here soon.
The pain in your side was becoming unbearable at this point. Reaching down to check, only for your hand to come back blood-soaked. Shakily, you ripped some fabric from your loincloth, wrapping it around the wound as best you could, just as So'lek had taught you.
Oh.. So'lek. You couldn't help but think of him in this moment. Of all the things you never got to say, things you swore to yourself that you would, when the time was right.
Right now, you wish you had just told him, told him how you felt. It probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of today, but at least it would have given you some comfort to stop carrying these feelings alone, finally.
The truth is, you have loved So'lek for a long time. You just never dared to confess. Too afraid of rejection, you pushed these feelings down.
After all, why would he return your feelings? In your mind, he only saw you as a student, and he was your mentor. Any protectiveness he felt towards you stemmed from the responsibility he felt for you. So confessing would only make you look and feel foolish, like a skxawng.
Now you felt like an even bigger fool for not confessing.
With no time to dwell on it further. You turned your attention back to the fight at hand. Drawing your bow, you shot down another soldier, and then another. Ducking back behind the crates to avoid the spray of bullets they gave you in return.
Now you had only one arrow left, and about six more soldiers were closing in on you. Losing hope, you prayed to the great mother, prayed for some type of miracle, or at least an easy passage to the afterlife. If it was Eywa's will for you to join her today, then so be it; you just hoped it would be without suffering.
As if on cue, like she had heard your prayer, you hear the familiar call of So'lek's ikran.
A smile spread across your face, immediate relief taking the weight off your shoulders. You watched as he took down every last soldier before they even had the chance to realize what was happening. Their lives were extinguished in an instant.
However, this relief did not last long. With the adrenaline starting to wear off, you felt just how bad your injury actually was. Shakily, you tried to stand, only to fall back to your knees with a painful groan.
So'lek ran to you once he determined it was safe, and there were no more soldiers. "Do not stand, you are injured," he said, putting his hands on your shoulders to keep you on the ground. You let him remove the fabric from your wound to get a better look at it. "It looks like the bullet just grazed you, but it is deep. I'll need to rewrap it before we return to HQ." Already working on rewrapping the wound as he spoke, he wanting to get you to safety as soon as possible.
"You came. How did you know I needed help?" you asked, hissing from the pain. "Sorry, I know this hurts, but I am almost finished. You were gone too long, and I had a feeling you were in danger, and I was right." He said, sure of his answer. You rested a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you for saving me, So'lek," you said, looking him in the eyes. The tension was thick. You couldn't quite place the emotion circling around in his eyes.
"You do not need to thank me; I feel that it is my job to protect you." Your heart dropped at this, of course he felt responsible for you. Why would it ever be deeper than that? "Your job? You don't need to feel responsible for me, So'lek. I know you taught me everything I know, but you can't worry about me all the time." Feeling defeated, you moved to stand. All you wanted was to get back to HQ and forget any of this ever happened.
He pressed down on your shoulders again, keeping you down. "You think I feel it is my job to protect you because I have guided you on your path here?" He asked, as if he couldn't believe what you were assuming.
Bewildered, you responded, "Well, what else could it be?" You couldn't imagine any other possibility.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart before continuing. "You really do not understand? Have you never questioned why I do not act this way towards the other Sarentu?" he asked, as if the answer was obvious.
You, however, did not find it obvious at all. "So'lek, I do not know what you are trying to say." He stared into your eyes for a little while before speaking again. This time, he moved his hands from your shoulders to your face, as if he was grounding himself in you. "I see you, I care so deeply for you, beyond what a mentor would feel."
Taken aback, you took a second to respond, "You do?" he nodded, smiling warmly, a smile that was only reserved for you. "I wait every day for your return. I only feel comfort when I know that you are safe. I can't imagine a world without you in it. When I learned that you had not returned, I had to find you. I have lost almost everything to the sky people; I could not lose you to them, too." He said, relieved to have finally gotten that off his chest.
You couldn't help but let a few tears fall, and a huge grin made its way across your face. "You can't even imagine how happy I am to hear this. Why did you wait so long to tell me?" you asked, the tension now dissipated, all that's left in its wake is an immense feeling of happiness, happiness for new beginnings. "I was not sure if you would reciprocate, so I thought it better to hide my feelings, but I can not hide them anymore."
Now pressing his forehead to yours, he spoke again, "If you'll have me, I promise to stand by you, always, yawne."
Your smile never left your face; this is truly the happiest you have felt in a long time. "Of course I will have you, So'lek, I will always choose you, you have always been my choice."
"And I choose you," he said, now fully closing the gap between you, planting his lips on yours.
The kiss was not hungry or rushed. It was purposeful, chosen.
A kiss that felt like months of hidden truths finally coming to light. Something that was written in stone before either of you even knew it.
How glad you were that so many things went wrong today, for it had the best outcome you could have ever imagined.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed, If you want to see more fics like this, my requests are open!
So’lek and Tamtey visiting the Tipani clan. Inevitably, they run into Rimu (So’lek’s past love). So’lek and Tamtey are newly mated but Tamtey cannot help but be a little wary. Rimu was there when Tamtey wasn’t. Rimu came first. So’lek is completely oblivious to Tamtey’s inner turmoil. Rimu is subtly challenging Tamtey. Sharp words that chip away at Tamtey’s confidence. Are they Na’vi enough for So’lek? Are they too young and naïve for So’lek? Of course Tamtey says nothing to So’lek. Sigh.
HEAR ME OUT: The absolute MESSIEST interaction between Tamtey and Nor after they learn about what he did to Alma. (I know she is disliked by a lot of ppl but stay with me) Tamtey was taken by the RDA when she was 2 years-old and Alma seems very motherly towards them. Tamtey is sobbing and trying to break out of So’lek’s grip to beat the living shit out of Nor. Much angst. Much emotion.
give so’lek a camera and watch him suddenly have 5 photo albums; 2 photo albums full of tamtey and candids of them, 1 album is of the sarentu, 1 album full of iley, 1 album is for so’lek and tamtey's kid
