So, I've been playing Cyberpunk for the last few weeks after years of not touching it and I've honestly enjoyed it so much there's a lot of interesting gigs and lore sprinkled around the city. Unfortunately it's also reminded me that I'm a shit driver when it comes to in game vehicles which makes this pic funny to me.

From time to time Johnny will just pop up in your car throw you a one-liner and chill for however long you're driving but I completely imagine that he can't and won't stay quiet for long. Like just imagine Johnny rage baiting V while she's driving.

Any chance he gets he's pointing out how she drove past a yellow light, how she almost hit a pedestrian (she didn't), he points out how many times she's hit a curve.

Or when she gets hungry which he can feel he'll start to obnoxiously chant "food, food, food" until she pulls up for food which he also tries to "convince" her to get what he likes, another thing he likes to do is critique her music taste or whatever music is playing.

Or his favorite thing of all is to hum a tune or sing a song that gets stuck in her head in a loop and then blink out when she starts to try to berate him for it.

I am 100% convinced that summers in Nightcity are horrendous, all the metal and concrete has to make things absolutely hot and then throw in all the people and trash, yikes.

Which makes me think that on days when the heat is really unbearable Jackie and V will whole up in the darkest coolest places they can find. Like El Coyote where they play pool upstairs and getting into petty arguments over who's winning or cheating, getting so rowdy that Mama Welles will make them tend tables and help Pepe behind the bar.

If they have too much to drink they will and have "fought" Kirk, a.k.a they absolutely dog pile him and throw him out. After the events of the car heist it's on sight with him, sometimes they'll sneak into the stock room where the kegs are kept and just chill in the cold air until Pepe makes them leave.

Or sometimes they'll barge into Viks clinic with bags of snacks and junk food. They act guilty if he has a patient but they'll still sneak back to the little living room that set up.

Of he's not working on anyone they'll drag him with them to watch a boxing match or too, they bring his favorite food and drinks so it's easier or they'll drag him and Misty to the courtyard and throw water balloons at each other until one of them slips and they get a talking to from Vik.

It's also not a surprise for Vik or Misty to walk into the clinic in the mornings and see one, the other, or both crashed out on the sofa or cold floor. More than once Vik has walked in on V sleeping in nothing but her underwear and a tank top since her apartment is notorious for loosing A/C. He never says anything just covers her in a sheet or his jacket.

There's a point in the game where the animals kinds of accept/ignore Tamtey, now it could be because of the skill that allows you to walk alongside the animals without them reacting but I had assumed it would have just been the prey animals it affected so it was a pleasant surprise not getting attacked the first time. Which lead me to this.

Imagine Tamtey unintentionally getting "adopted" by a pride of Echo Stalkers or other predators. Both parties "bumping" into each other on more than one occasion until Tamtey realizes that the pride is actively looking for them.

Maybe its a group that they've saved from poachers or one they've unintentionally been feeding by leaving their kills when they show up, the risk of fighting them is greater than the value of the kills. Because of that the pride has begun to associate them with food and safety which has grown to them beginning to associate them as one their members.

So imagine after sometime the pride starts to wait outside of camps for them, or attacking RDA and another predators if they see/sense her fighting them. Soon it's a common sight to see Tamtey being trailed by a pride of Echo Stalkers, or Scarab Crawlers.

Better, imagine them chasing off other na'vi that get close to Tamtey, mostly if it's some with romantic interests. While some chase the suitors away the other nudge and lead Tamtey to "safety".

Or sometimes they'll find Tamtey when their asleep or resting and stand watch over them or rest beside them, sometimes they'll even bring them food or lead them to safer hidden places to rest.

Just imagine Tamtey reuniting with Pandora is a completely different way.

I pre-ordered this game back during Covid but I've never been able to finish it, I've gotten disconnected....easily. But I dont want to get burned out from AFOP so I'm gonna try it again.

So here's a few things in my noggin.

1. I love that after getting their shit absolutely rocked these two become BFF's. Nothing brings your together like getting your ass beat by the fuzz and eating homemade Mexican/Hispanic food.

2. The size difference between V and Jackie just made me giggle, I didn't thinking there'd be that much difference between them but look at her. He's absolutely manhandled her both when they've been sober and drunk.

3. I love metal head Dum Dum, he's a nerd and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. He gets so excited when talking about the Flathead and the subroutine they've made to control it. I also think he likes V and shoot his shot a little at the end of their encounter by telling her he likes her style and giving her his Black lace inhaler.

There's this paint pattern that has caught my interest, mainly the hand print don't get me wrong it's most likely just supposed to be Tamtey's hand but I like putting thoughts in people's heads that make me giggle.

Personally I think it looks a bit larger than Tamtey's actual hand.

So imagine Tamtey finishing up this new pattern but they run out of paint and there's this large swatch on their leg that's bare, normally it doesn't matter but something about it is just bugging them to much to ignore. They can mix up a new bowl but that would mean that they'd probably waste more paint than they need; they could ask one of the other na'vi if they can have some of theirs but the colors just aren't what they're looking for.

Then from the corner of their eye they see So'lek painting Ìley, the paint covering his hand is the exact shade as their. Tamtey is so excited to finish their pattern that they're moving before they even realize it.

By the time Tamtey is finished asking So'lek already has the bowl in front of them, he of course expects Tamtey to use what they need but before he can react he's feeling the heat of Tamtey's skin under his palm. Instead of using the paint in the bowl like he expected, Tamtey instead chose to simply take the warriors hand and stamp his palm on their thigh.

And to his horror before he can stop Tamtey or even begin to explain what having someone's mark or handprint means they've already turned and run off to do their thing. When he finally shakes the shock off, deciding to talk to the Sarentu later, and turns to continue painting Ìley he's met with the over filled mirthful face of Nefika having witnessed the whole thing from across the platform.

The rumor is across Hometree before Ìley's paint is dry.

Ok, so, FYI. I'm not playing AFOP as much anymore, I really love the game and don't want to burn myself out by over playing it so I'llbe changing things up a bit. That doesn't mean I'll stop posting about it, I'll just be posting about other games, game or content alongside it. I never expected or planned for this blog to be an AFOP only page but I do know a lot of people have followed because of the AFOP content and don't want the change to take people by surprise which is why I wrote this.

So these tree's, pretty normal mundane looking tree's, right?

But just imagine sitting atop them with friends either as Tamtey or your own oc. The day is nice, the heat of the sun is curved by wandering clouds and as you watch the Pali and animals graze bellow you and your friends sit above enjoying a picnic, maybe your other friends are in the river under the canopy fishing or gathering shells.

You're all just hanging out gossiping, telling stories or even working on small projects; you throw fruit or snuggly wrapped food down to your friends by the river when they get hungry but don't want to walk up the massive bark. Maybe when you do one of them looks up just a little longer taking in you or a friend before they're pulled away which has everyone tittering about a crush, or maybe you or friends down in the river and the food that is tossed is always your favorite or someone else's which has the same reaction.

Just imagine hanging out on these trees enjoying the scenery and the day.

Something I like to think about for my particular Sarentu and their parentage is how much they look like both Kataru and Wawen

Then you got Tamì

Not quite how I draw their stripes and skin and canon but overall it's a happy little accident.

Anyways been working more on The Lore of Tamì's parentage!

For Wawen, I like to think his father and Kiro were best friends and they always wanted to raise their kids together- but by the time Kiro has So'lek, Wawen is a hunter who has completed his Iknimaya.

Fortune has it however that he takes So'lek under his wing when the boy shows more interest in being a hunter and warrior than a wood weaver like his father.

I think when So'lek isn't born yet (but Soon) or like. Less than a year old is when Kataru and Aha'ri stayed with the Trr'ong, so he wouldn't remember her and he's got more important things to do, he's a baby!

Aha'ri herself is probably about a year and a half, maybe two- Kataru had lost her mate and a pregnancy when Aha'ri was a little over a year old, and is grieving still. May or may not still be wearing her mourning paint.

At the Moot she requested to be moved clans, too painful to stay further at the one she had lost her mate in- it wasn't the clan's fault of course, debating on it being a freak accident or an early incident with the RDA.

It's just too painful to linger. The Trr'ong seem like a good fit for her to stay with this time, she could use some more light in her life.

Wawen's intentions didn't start off romantic, he was helpful with Aha'ri and kind to them both. Kataru wasn't looking for a relationship of course, especially not so soon.

Love found them though, slowly at first as Kataru and Aha'ri settled in. Learning the day to day of the daily life of the Trr'ong, she learns quickly they live up to their reputation and the stories are very much true.

The Trr'ong are excellent hosts, and Kataru quickly feels right at home- Aha'ri has plenty of little ones her age to play with and there's other mothers for her to talk to.

Wawen always makes sure to say hi, and he brings them both fresh fruit every morning- learning quickly what they both favor. Kataru can appreciate someone also looking out for her daughter.

It didn’t take long for the two to develop feelings for each other, which they both feel guilty about in their own ways- she had lost her mate recently, her daughter doesn’t have her father. Wawen keeps his feelings to himself but he’s so charming and sweet to Kataru.

Before they both knew it, the year was up. I don’t know how yet it shakes out exactly, but Kataru figures out she’s pregnant and has a lot of mixed emotions about it- considering everything. She doesn’t go back to the Trr’ong, she tells herself not yet- but she will tell him someday.

(The night of the Massacre, she requested to go back to the Trr’ong, finally feeling like she’s ready- no matter what the consequences are. In a kinder timeline, I think Wawen would have been understanding- a bit hurt, but more so because he missed out on so much- Kataru was going through a *lot* and he tells her he would have waited even longer if it meant having them all in his life eventually. Idk I had a better line. I’ll probably find it again someday.)

Aaahhhh!!! I love this and it also breaks my heart, they deserved to have their happy endings and raise the girls. This is such a good take and background.

You know what I think about? How different the Sarentu are even as they adjust and relearn na'vi ways. For example dancing.

No matter how much time passes and how much they try to forget or stop trying to do human things, they will always have some human mannerisms or just be a bit more human in some regards.

Like with dancing and music, the kids grew up around humans which means that the music and dancing that they were more exposed to was that of human culture. While I do think that the rda where/are down right bastards to them I do also like to imagine that there were a few rda that where kind, a few members that while scared to defect they still tried to show kindness to the kids.

Like imagine them being taught by these rare few how to dance and sing when the higher ups where off of base, going so far to wipe cameras or take them to blind spots. Teaching them songs and dances from their own cultures and those they learned from their own friends and families back on earth.

Then now that they're free they have this different way of dancing that the na'vi around them, yeah they can and do dance like how the clans have taught them but sometimes there's just a way that they move differently for just a moment or sometimes they do dance like humans or can will dance to human songs. They know the moves to those songs better than they do na'vi dances.

But somehow it also makes them strangely good at na'vi dances because they can see the connection or similarities between the styles so they're strangely okay or good at the basics. It's not until sometime later when the Resistance is visiting a camp or one of the clans that the reason as to why the Sarentu dance the way they do comes to light.

Like maybe Anqa or someone else starts playing human songs and the Sarentu are some of the first na'vi that start dancing to them and they're good. Even as the humans change the style or the region of the world the music is from the Sarentu know the moves or know the basics enough to dance.

And it doesn't stop there because even though the learn na'vi dances from other clans, including Sarentu thanks to Rasi, the human bits still somewhat bleeds through and sometimes showing when they make new dances for their clan.

I just imagine that the Sarentu as a melting pot clan incorporate human aspects to their dances or culture either intentionally or not to the point that there just something strangely unique about it.

Itu is the kind of guy that would realize that he's in love with Tamtey when she's muddied, bloodied, bitten and scratched to hell and absolutely livid. Hel, he probably realizes it the moment he registers that she hurt him but he's so star struck that he doesn't feel the pain at fist.

Itu knows Tamtey is special to him, she was his first student he saw her go from a hesitant hunter to a confident ikran rider; she became his rescuer then the confidant of his grief after Zomei's death but he's so caught up with being a free spirit that he doesn't register that his feelings have evolved to more than those of a friend.

When the light bulb in his head finally turns on that those feelings aren't the kind you have towards a friend it's like his "uh oh" moment.

Just imagine Itu on his way to Hometree when he hears the sound of wildlife fighting, at first he doesn't pay much attention to it until he also hears what is clearly a na'vi hissing, growling and cursing alongside the sounds of Viperwolf's. When he decides to go check and gets close enough to investigate he sees to his surprise that it's Tamtey.

He sees her standing over a Winzaw an arrow struck through it's chest, a clean kill, but the sight that really makes him freeze is how angry she is. She looks like a Palulukan with the way she's bearing her teeth and growling, she's adamant on protecting her kill and any time one of the Viperwolf's gets to close or lunges at her she meet them with her bow and anytime she's able to aim and shoot she hits her target cleanly. Its long before the remaining beasts decide that the danger of the na'vi woman out weighs the benefit of the deer, which is also when Itu decides to get closer; he's met with an arrow through his thigh.

The look of utter fury on her face and the way her eyes seem to just glow with that same anger make him freeze. It's only when her anger turns to horror that he feels the pain blooming from his thigh, after they're sure he's not bleeding out Tamtey starts scolding him and he can't help but think how gorgeous she looks and that's when the realization happens that he wants to kiss her and that makes him pause and have his light bulb moment.

I just like to imagine that Itu is the kind of guy who loves to get a rise out of Tamtey, one because he loves to see her reactions, and two because it means he gets her attention and be the one to "soothe" her anger.

Etuwa looking absolutely done speaking to the new hunters: "If you see Itu getting yelled at by Tamtey don't intervene.....He's right where he wants to be."

Hunters confused but nodding anyways.

A few weeks later they walk by Tamtey ripping Itu a new one. He looks at them absolutely pleased as punch.
