the concept of zevran deciding to commit suicide but doing it through a contract so it's not his decision or his hand, just an extension of his death drive, and almost getting there, being on the edge of death at the hands of the warden, but instead of asking to be killed, he can't help but bargain for his survival. was it the split second between when the warden couldve killed him and didnt that inspired him to live, or the crow training to give everything to secure the deal? "i am leaving" but the fighter still remains ..
