I just got this random thought about Aizawa's "logical ruse"

We all know that the reason why he didn't expell Deku is because he saw his potential and not because he had decided that he wouldn't expell anyone from the start - I mean, he expelled an entire class the previous year...

But what if Deku had had better control on his quirk by the time he took Aizawa's test, and someone else had ended up last - like Hagakure for example - ?

Think about it: Aizawa threatening to expell a student that has potential, but still ended up last, to see how the other students would react - or just willing to expell a student that clearly doesn't have any potential, but also using this occasion to analyze the others' reactions

I mean, this is a hero school, right? There were hidden points at the entrance exam for those who helped other - the exam rewarded heroic behavior

Imagine the students from the previous year seeing one of them getting "expelled" on the first day for absolutely unfair, arbitrary reasons, and not even trying to step in. Maybe just sighing in relief that it didn't happen to them, shrugging, not even trying to comfort the student. Or worse, snorting in disdain and making fun of them, laughing out loud and pointing at them. Is this considered heroic behavior?

I don't know about you, but I can 100% picture this :

Aizawa : this was a logical ruse, this student won't get expelled. But the rest of you failed the real test, so byyyye

Katsuki gets hit by a Quirk that makes him alternate between his usual personality and its polar opposite (his proto personality) - like the ikemen quirk in bnha smash. It’s very disturbing for everyone, especially when he smiles and laughs, and maybe class 1a can’t help but find him a bittttt attractive when he’s not scowling and yelling… - his interactions with his parents and the teachers would be priceless too
