Send me a ship...
…and I’ll tell you who holds what. Ready?
The umbrella, when it rains -
The popcorn at the cinema -
The baby, when it cries -
The ice cream cone, when they share -
The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie -
The basket, when they go shopping -
The door, on dates -
The other’s hand, most often -
Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day -
The camera, when they take pictures together -
(( boomboxdragon we need to just need to write a huge thing on each of our characters and swap.
I mean…you know a decent chunk of Rose. But there’s Sky, Adam, Morri, Rob (they are my storm trio), Ryu, Calla (whose character is being rewritten btw), and eventually…
((Ummm. I choose Carlos. Which do you want to know about?))
[[Sky, I supposed, since I see him mentioned a fair bit.]]
((Okie dokie. I’ll send you note owo or tag you in a post if it gets too long.))
[[notes would be good]]

But I really only know Caroline was with STORM, was burned by Royalblade, I dunno what Royalblade looks like, then I dunno Shark and the others either. ;w; ))
[[yeah i guess the lack of knowledge about caroline and the others are my fault
well i have more than a few characters for storm, including alpha's family and tango's brother, and the other four sets of kids i have for squads
caroline's little brother donovan and her parents
shark/carlos
i think that rounds out all of my monsuno characters but it's still a fair bit i haven't told you or anyone else a bit yet
hmm
well
maybe just pick one character each for now and start asking each other questions?]]
[[but can you imagine caroline calling bren by her dead younger brother's name on accident]]
[[are we not gonna talk about this]]

[[i agree with you guys now that i'm watching the rest of season two
tango definitely speaks something other than english as a first language
i really like the use of the warped english tho, like 'he not' instead of he is not]]
The newly re-admitted soldier walked into Rose's room, placing the spare key into her pants pocket. Her armor was discarded, leaving the blonde in her bandages and vinyl-like black under-suit as per usual of a soldier off duty. "Rose?" She called awkwardly, pressing her fingers together. "Are you in here? I have a question!"
Rose peeked out from her and Dax’s sleeping quarters. She was dressed in a bath robe, her hair messy as if she had just woken up. “Caroline?” The medic called. “Is that you? Are you ok?”
The soldier dismissively waved her left hand, her gaze drifting to Rose’s fading scars. She gave a nervous laugh.
"Yeah, yeah it’s me. I- I’m fine, I promise!"
Noticing the messy hair, the soldier pursed her lips.
"Oh, did I wake you? Is Dax still sleeping?" The blonde’s expression seemed to be abnormal, her stance lowering like a scared dog with her tail between her legs. Her fingers of her right hand trailed the doorknob, sweat dripping from her brows.
"I can go, this can wait."
Rose yawned and rubbed her eyes sleepily. “Yea. But it’s ok. Dax is already on his mission with…Beyal I believe it was. He told me to sleep in today. No no! Come in Caroline! Come in!”
The medic grabbed onto Caroline’s arm and pulled her into the sleeping quarters. She sat Caroline on the edge of the bed and flopped onto the mattress herself. “What’s wrong? You seem all…edgy…”
The soldier bit the inside of her cheek as she was tugged along, coming to a complete halt in front of the slightly ruffled sheets. She forced herself to sit, not without tugging on her palm bandages, not once but twice on each hand.
"That was nice of him," She said mutely, almost as if the words barely registered in her mind.
"Edgy?" She perked up, not unlike the same scared dog, one almost able to envision the ears snapping forward and fur rising.
"I’m not edgy, I’m just…"
The dog mimicked a horse, buzzing her lips through one side.
"I..I want to stop."
She seemed to forget she hadn’t finished her sentence, or was having trouble forcing the words out.
"I want to stop wearing my bandages."
Rose grinned, cocking an eyebrow in slight confusion. “Then stop wearing them?” The medic tugged on a loose bandage. “Your burns have made a full recovery. Why would you…?”
Then it hit Rose. “Are you scared of how it’ll look?…I know I was when my bandages were removed after the mauling wounds closed.” She brushed a hand over her facial scars.”
The soldier puffed haughtily, as if she was dismissing the idea.
"Me? Scared? Blasphemy!" She declared with an angry flare of her cheeks, the freckles popping out like they were highlighted with red. Her confidence, albiet mock, was to be admired - had she not sunk her shoulders and laid her head to rest between her fingertips, massaging her temples as she went along.
"Yeah, I'm...anxious."
she moved her head to be on one palm, the other pulled in front of her face. Her expression was odd, sharp eyes slanted towards the edges of her cheeks and eyebrows pulled to an alarming crease above her lashes. While she had been dabbling in the idea of wearing more and more make up on the days she was not designated to either team, it seemed her attempts had been dull and void that morning. The thin dash of eyeliner on each eye seemed to curl downward, as if she had given up trying to move the curl to be similar to, say, Glowblade's tail. Her usual flaring red lip stain was gone, faded marks from the day before still grazing the corners.
"I've had the burns from Royalblade for almost four years." Her eyes trailed up her arm, and while they could not see it, the burns on her neck stung. Her torso's burns would not normally be seen, but she knew good and well the medic could tell they were there. She'd patched them up plenty of times before.
"And the insignias..." She removed her other hand, tracing her fingers over the gauze across her palms.
"Jeredy said they might never go away. No one but you and him and Jinja have seen them before. How am I supposed to explain it? Oh, I got this burn not in a battle, but because I disobeyed Charlemagne for not killing a monsuno, and I got this one for basically betraying her and crawling back for forgiveness?" Her voice quivered and shifted with each sentence, the acid rising in her throat as more and more triggered pain shot through her veins.
"Bravo and Alpha and I were talking and one of them made a joke and if that's how they feel, and they haven't even seen the burns, how will the others react?" The worry in her tone spiked.
"I'm looked down upon, even with my high ranking in STORM and Core-tech combined, but.." Her rank had been risen above that of Strike Squad due to her experience with Core-Tech, but Commander Trey, Jeredy, and Jon Ace all ranked above her. While the power hummed in her blood like a war drum, the responsibility weighed down her arms like she was Atlas carrying the globe.
"What would happen if everyone saw? No one would see the soldier, they'd see the burns. I'm terrified, Rose. I don't know what to do."
The newly re-admitted soldier walked into Rose's room, placing the spare key into her pants pocket. "You have been avenged, Sire"
"I will try my best to be a worthy successor"
"Would you rather I let them beat you to death?"
"I must say I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation"
"You're not welcome here"
"Oh dear, what an awkward situation"
"Please don't do this. I'm begging you"
"I like you begging. Do it again"
"Oh, come on! That's funny!"
"Go away. Go. Go away"
"I know you're there. Don't be afraid"
"I'm not afraid"
"You mock me. I know what you're doing. I know exactly what you're doing"
"We're running out of time"
"Come here. Sit. There's something I need to tell you"
"No! Don't touch me! You're the evil that's in the world! It's you!"
"You look just like your mother"
"Look at my feet! I love my tiny little feet!"
"True love doesn't just fall from trees, you know"
"I'm embarrassed to say I don't know where I am"
"Haven't you ever heard of love at first sight? Go on! Kiss her!"
"I'll not ask your forgiveness, for what I've done to you is unforgivable."
"You've stole what was left of my heart."
"I swear no harm will come to you as long as I shall live"
"Not a day shall pass that I'll not miss your smile"
"Kill her! Kill her!"
"It's over"
"You have your queen!"
"So you see, the story is not quite as you were told"

"The length of your hair is just as obnoxious as you are," the Lowlander said dryly, shrugging.
"You know," Caroline hummed, crossing her arms underneath her chest.
"I would normally get offended, but it’s true. At least I’m not as obnoxious as someone else we both know." She reminded with swift precision. The implication of who said person was left to Dax to decide, but there were plenty of conclusions he could draw.
"I dunno, punzie, you’re a pretty close contender," Dax hummed. "Then again, at least you don’t almost get us killed weekly," he leaned against a wall. "Or even daily, if he’s in a good mood, I suppose."
"More like if Charlemagne's in a bad mood." Caroline scoffed with a roll of her eyes. It was playful, thankfully, though if the conversation drifted more to one of her flaws the attitude would turn sour as acid.
Caroline brought one of her hands down to her hip, inhaling sharply as the still aching pain of her side riveted through her body.
"And I would rather not consider myself obnoxious, I much prefer...delightfully disobedient."
