1-4) Rift Apart did not give us the Nef redemption and subsequent Nef vs Nef violence we deserved so I’m making it myself. Nef should’ve been redeemed and given actual in-depth interactions and conflict with Emps, I have started an entire RA AU for this, I will die on this hill. 5) Also before release, with the seekerpede and being able to tell that Emps was much more skeletal in design, I was so hoping for some sort of ultimate skeleton-bug form boss fight and the giant mecha was good and all but I was hoping something cooler would happen against Emps himself. So I gave him spider arms because I headcanon that Emps still started off as a science guy and would totally give himself physical augmentations to make himself more powerful

6) More Nef vs Nef rivalry. I stared at their refs for too long and noticed their heights

7) I want Emps to be a terrible influence on Nef and I wish we got more dialogue between the two of them instead of Nef getting dragged around not even saying a word in some scenes, seriously what was that
