I don't know what Laplace was thinking...very well. I am Solo. That is all you need to know about me, as I don't intend on making friends while I am here, if I am on here at all. "...!!!" ...Fine. I have to admit though, drawing in the end is just a side hobby, so the art quality will fluctuate. oh hey guys, suddenly an assdump of really old solo doodles.

okay look here’s the story. i drew these during a series of trainings a few months ago b/c i had a lot of trainings to renew and i was bored as heckie. so like. they were expression practice, mostly. i uploaded them to a private plurk with a friend, but then i never got around to sharing them more. and then my car got cleaned out and i assumed they were thrown out and i forgot about them

fast forward to this afternoon where dad was cleaning out our garage and he showed me some crumpled papers to me on my way inside. he found them in a bag in the garage. so i guess they weren’t thrown out.

and dad was like “idk i don’t really wanna throw them out. they’re cute." he then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions like how long it took me to draw those and what they were. i just stammered out some answers about how it was practice and just things i did when i was bored and then i rembered i had them saved somewhere around here so i refound them again and now tumblr gets them! yay!

going on the solo blog because technically it’s a solo thing and this blog needs something to spruce it up! yay!

ha. my style’s changed a fair bit since i last did stuff on here, hasn’t it. i hope it’s an improvement :’D

Getting back on topic now. After spying the official art of tiny!Subaru on my dash, it finally spurred me to draw mental images that’s been on my mind since I wrote Not Quite Alone, a.k.a. That Dumb AU Where Subaru and Solo Are Totally Not Friends. So since they’re Totally Not Friends, I drew them next to each other, yay.

Tiny!Solo, I’ve always imagined to wear that doofy green turtleneck that you can see poking out from canon!Solo’s bodysuit along with tan shorts. He doesn’t have his earrings or his bodysuit since my personal headcanon is that he didn’t know about his heritage until Orihime met him, but he does have his facial tattoo since I can’t really imagine him getting it later? I dunno.

When he gets older, the turtleneck stays, but it’s covered up with a hoodie (it’s either the same dark brown as his catsuit or a tan/grey color, I haven’t decided). Still no earrings (he doesn’t get them until shortly before the second game’s events, when he finally runs into Orihime). It took me a while to decide whether I wanted him wearing sneakers or not, but I decided to go with dark cargo pants and hiking boots, the especially thick heavy terrain kind. Also, all those pockets (that I totally forgot to draw)? They’re stuffed with candy.

Also help me I can’t get over how snarky these two are with each other.

So instead of working on Solo’s asks, I instead decided to practice drawing Solo’s full outfit, because as you’ve probably noticed, my art is pretty much nothing but bust shots and I’d like to be better at drawing Lightningface.

And then I decided to do some posing practice as well, because I have never really been able to draw full-body shots without something getting terribly out of proportion and looking godawfully awkward-which is why my art is pretty much nothing but bust shots and occasional standing shots, actually.

So I might have inadvertently stumbled onto a kinda sorta new-ish drawing style here. Who knows. I dunno. Have some Solo and Laplace doodles, you guys.
