☾⊹ ࣪ ˖ greetings ! yes, I've finally decided to make a proper witchcraft blog, after who-knows-how-long . here's to hoping this will help with my impostor syndrome lol . . .

☾⊹ ࣪ ˖ I don't stick to many labels , but I guess I'm what you'd call a chaos witch! my practice is very eclectic and messy , I mix a lot of demonolatry , theistic luciferianism , local folk superstitions , and unorthodox methods if they feel right (without dabbling in any closed or illegal practices of course .)

☾⊹ ࣪ ˖ some fun facts I suppose ; I've been practicing witchcraft alongside my mother for ages . if you count concious practice, I want to say for about seven years , but really , she's been including me in her practice since I was born lol . she's a wonderful woman and teacher , who always taught me to see the magic in things , to love the world around me and to know my own worth . I hope to pass that knowledge on to others!

I'm portuguese , so a lot of my practice also revolves around common folk beliefs and I really want to incorporate more still into my work . I used to work the closest with the sea , but I'm living in the mountainside right now so I've been feeling pretty far from home </3

also , I'm currently (attempting to) write an intro to witchcraft book ! a few friends have come to me for advice , so I decided to write a little something covering all the basic bases I could think of , and if that seems like an interesting project , then follow along!

☾⊹ ࣪ ˖ as of right now , I'm focusing on more formal demonolatry . I've been under Teacher Lucifer's wing for almost 5 years now (five years in June!) and recently began working with Princess Ashtoreth as well . I'll try to keep log of my work here , again , unless my impostor syndrome gets me haha

my favourite part of eclectic magic; creating specific rituals, especially specific ways to curse people lol

my newest "invention" that i'm sure is not original, but that i've never seen anyone mention before; i call it "the mirror trap", or the "dual mirror trap" to be more exact. it goes a little something like this;

the intent is to trap someone, be that physically, spiritually, literally or metaphorically. you get the idea.

basic preparations go without saying; wards, cleansing, etc. prep work makes the dream work. heh

first; place two mirrors in front of each other, each covered by some sort of fabric or general covering.

next you're going to take a poppet or a representation of the person about to be trapped - the trappee, if you will - and give it a few spins and turns. make it nice and dizzy and confused.

this is the fun part.

place the poppet in between the two mirrors. now uncover the mirrors. it should be reflected in both of them, and it should be going down into the infinite chain of mirrored mirrors on either side of itself. down it goes!

here's my only real rules; do not stand in front or in between the mirrors yourself. avoid getting caught in their reflection as much as possible - smaller mirrors probably work best for this, but ive yet to test it out with smaller mirrors. i would also reccommend, if you work with colour magic at all, to avoid "absorbant" colours like black. you want to avoid getting caught in the mirrors as much as possible.

i have a set incantation for this trap, but this is optional. if you want to use it, here's mine;

"into the winding spiral you go; trapped in a realm of (state objective/intent of curse here). into the winding spiral you go!; where you'll end up, lo! we'll never know!"

it's pretty customisable and fun to set up and prepare :) i love a good disorientation spell, and im sure it can also be used as a ward, if you place a miniature version of this setup somewhere near a door or something?

(i love and adore my mama but sometimes our crafts are not very compatible sobs sobs, i'm gonna use thie time to get some bigger rituals out of the way so they dont bother her when shes back...)

i try to seem relatively knowleadgeable and composed on here but heres a small list of things ive said in a witchcraft context recently to put into perspective that sometimes, you cant be a professional sorcerer all the time

"cant even jork it in peace without seeing apparitions. was that actually something or just a hallucination. man. fuck if i know."
