What is the Desert Heroes comic upload schedule?

Essentially as soon as I can finish a batch. I'm going to college, but I plan to finish that comic !

One week remains...

We're just a week away from the release of Beyond Shapes & Beats on May 31st!! And to give you something to tide you over, we're releasing another cover teaser! It's not just the back cover we did something special for - after all, what would JSaB be without its players and bosses? Each character on the front cover is a different artist's take on the Players, the Boss, Lycanthropy, Barracuda, and the Friend/Cube.

Have any guesses as to our front cover artists? Feel free to put them in the notes! We'll be revealing the full cover in just a few days, so stay tuned...

Desert Heroes Au || Uhhhh… wake up DH peeps… I got a sketch for you.

Lowkey this doodle turned into a whole art piece after I had to spend like a week rendering slowly during breaks in-between studying.

I’ve been obsessing over SFAWTDE, but I felt bad for the lack of content for my JSAB people since I’ve been so busy augh. Times are tough, y’all 💔

this might be a dumb question BUT

What happens to chance after they die in lament? Yeah Itrapped carries them somewhere safe, but what does he actually do?

Does he bury them? If so, has he ever visited their grave, or put flowers there?

It’s not a dumb question!! I’m good with answering anything !!

Trap essentially lies Chance down in the snow with his coat over them to “keep them warm” since he knew they weren’t a huge fan of the cold before wandering off.

As for what happens after-! Chance n Trap are dying in the end before the spectre snatches them up. Trap wasn’t strong enough to go very far, Darkheart was sort of tearing him apart somewhat speaking and anything beyond purgatory will hopefully be covered in the fic I’m working on if I can get the damn strength and time to finish chapter 1.

If that makes sense? I’m sorry if I’m mistaken on what you’re asking, it’s so late rn I should not be up but I wanted to finally get to this 😭 curse my never ending exams I can’t think straight aufhfhfjfhfj

Feel free to ask more or for clarification in case you didn’t get what I mean. I wanna answer properly if need be.

too scared to come off anon but your work on lament for our luck is gorgeous and amazing and beautiful and i could go on but its about half the fucking dictionary but holy fuck its amazing

i just read it for the 2nd time after a long break and holy shit didn't even realize it was over until it was. well. over. it made such an impact and i could feel the pain itrapped and chance both had over the course of the fic if only they werent doomed aughhh...

and your perception of itrapped is exactly like mine, its amazing (itrapped fictionkin here him and i are matching w our chronic pain!!! not the same reason but i connect w him hes so stupid silly and i feel bad)

hope this msg isnt weird or anything but your fic is amazing i hope to see new works that you create and ik im so late to lament for our luck chapter 14 coming out but whatever youre getting my praise anyway aaa

Im so glad you connected with the fic too, both in that you liked the story and related to the chronic pain part of it (in fact, in the postsaken fic I’m working on for them, ITrapped will be dealing with more of that so I hope I do chronic illness justice since I know it’s not often recognized XP)

Update/IChance || Hey y’all!! I’m so sorry for being genuinely dead for a minute. I have a couple asks I need to respond to, I’ve just not yet had the moment to.

Im also part of 3 zines so thats on me but that’s not the point shhh.

I’m currently working on two fics (Azuretime and IChance respectively), the comic batch and a lot of other content piece by piece but just… know I’m alive.

I know I make it a point to say I do my creative work for me, but I am aware there are some still waiting for a response or a release of something new, so I apologize for my silence. I’m an active uni student 😓

Just know I’ll get to things soon!! It’s coming slowly but it’s being worked on. I’m not trying to ignore anyone or delay anything, life just gets real hectic and sadly I get passionate about projects without having the time. (Comics are difficult to keep up with…)
