Catcall Hex Stone

Sculpt an oval out of clay, engrave or paint the following symbol on its face and drive through the amulet an iron nail downward from the top of the amulet to the bottom – not disrupting its face. Fire/dry/bake. Tie a cord around the nail head and wear it – when any yells or makes you uncomfortable, tap its face three times to lay a hex on their head.

Note, this is not in itself a protection amulet, though it could be formulated to include the facility. As is, it is just to punish any transgressors – best when paired with an autonomous protection amulet.

Rot Their Life Spell.

Ingredients:

A package of cheap raw meat.

Three types of peppers of your choosing.

Half a dozen eggs.

Broccoli or cauliflower.

Photo of your target.

Any ingredient that you associate decay and rot with.

GLOVES* You will be handling raw meat.

(3) Brown paper bags

(1) plastic bag

A small shovel

Destruction oil *Optional

Steps:

Take the targets picture and put destruction oil on it. Rub the oil on their face bad mouthing them.

Get the three peppers of your choosing and place it in the center of the photo and fold it away from you.

Cut open the meat.

Sprinkle some of the pepper mixture along with the destruction oil into the meat.

Place the targets photo inside the open cavity that you just cut open.

Place it in a brown paper bag.

Place the brown paper bag in another bag.

Place that bag in the last brown paper bag. This is to minimize spillage.

Crack six eggs on the meat inside the paper bag.

Add your broccoli or cauliflower.

Add your ingredient that you associate with decay or rot.

Close up the brown paper bag.

Use the plastic bag to transport it.

You will use your small shovel to bury the brown paper bag and all its contents AWAY from your home.

As the contents rot, so will your targets life.

Feather-set’s “Black Box Hotel Curse” Part 1:  Burning Paranoia Protection Satchels (Optional)

These small pouches will protect the space which they surround, causing those within the confines to become paranoid and nervously “hot under the collar,” so to speak. These satchels can be used singularly but are made for and in conjunction with my other Black Box Hotel Curse posts, which can be found below.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Four cloth or paper squares 

Twine or other form of closure

Black salt (here’s my how-to make black salt video) 

Hot red peppers (the hotter the better)

Four iron nails

Pen (optional)

WHAT TO DO

You are free to cast these satchels however you wish, with or without a circle, candles, other items, chanting, etc. 

(Optional) Use the pen to draw a sigil or representation of the sentries made in part 2 of this series. These will connect the satchels to the sentries’ eyes and to the curse box.

Place a nail, hot pepper, and some black salt in each of the four cloth/paper squares.

Tie up the pouches with some twine or other closure, leaving space to hang the satchels in your preferred method.

Put one of the satchels in each of the corners of the space you wish to protect.

Know What You Have Done

This is neither a curse, nor a hex, as it does not return the pain caused (though it can easily be reformatted to do so), but simply makes the aggressor aware of it. More than that, it is to force them to understand the pain caused. Do not be wary of its simplicity, for its effects are tried and true.

Gather

A large bowl – the darker in color the better **

Water **

(Optional, though highly recommended): a personal affect of your aggressor)

(Optional: a Candle, black or white)

** Alternately, you can replace the bowl and water for a mirror or other scrying surface of your choosing

Instructions

Take with you your items to a dark room. Light the candle (or another dull light source) and pour your water into the bowl. The goal is to arrange it so that you cannot see through the water, but can only see the reflection on its surface.

When you have found the perfect lighting, take the personal affect in your left hand and “find” them in the water. You want to use the affect to attune to their spirit/energy so that you can “see” them. Keep working until you have a definitive link. You will know it when you have it.

Once the link has been made, using your right hand, dip your fingers into the water (hence why the bowl of water is preferred)  – this represents their subconsciousness. Bring forth the incident in which you were wrong and “place alongside” it, your own pain. Not in such a way as to inflict the pain, but to make them aware of your own. If you find it easier, feel free to speak what they have done aloud and the results of their actions. “This is what you have done.”

When you have said your peace and shown them what they need to see, break the link by flicking the water from your fingers onto the surface and releasing the personal affect from your hand. Pour out the water wherever convenient and do with the personal affect whatever you feel is appropriate. There is no need to destroy or get rid of it – in fact, you may wish to hold onto it for any further work.

Feather-set’s “Black Box Hotel Curse” Part 3:  Caught in the Black Box Contract

This is a strong, draining curse that takes effect only if the rules in the contract you write are broken, or if the box’s seal is broken once closed. Set up laws for your sacred space and protect that which you hold dear. Anyone who messes with your things activate the curse and are plagued with severe paranoia and nervousness, indefinitely. 

Make sure you have your sentries from part 2 set up for about a week before starting this box! Create and seal this box a day or two before your sacred space will be left alone without you to watch over it, or before people/guests are to come over.

OTHER PARTS TO THE BLACK BOX HOTEL PROTECTION/CURSE

Part 1 - Burning Paranoia Protection Satchel 

Part 2 - Watchful Sentries of the Hotel 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A small/medium-small box (preferably black or dark, or neutral)

Paper that can be easily folded (big enough to wrap the poppet and such in)

More paper for wrapping the box

Iron nails

Hot red peppers

Small, fragile bones

Tape/twine/other closures 

Pen

Black salt (my how-to video)

Glue

Finished and stationed sentries from part 2

Representations of your sentries (can be bits of leftover clay/cloth or the sigils you previously used, etc.) 

A poppet to fit the box 

Lots of energy

Space near the main door/entrance to place the box

WHAT TO DO

(Optional) I marked up my box with magick commands including that the curse does not set until the box is closed and that opening the box activates the curse like breaking the rules does, etc. You are free to mark the box how you wish. 

Pour or rub some glue around the inside walls/floor of the box

Pour black salt over the glue and shake around so that all of the glue is covered in black salt. 

On your flimsy paper, write out your contract include rules and regulations, and what happens if those rules are broken. Mine includes not touching my things and keeping judgement to themselves. If they break the rules, I added the following:

If the rules are broken, paranoia and fear will burn within you. Your sanity shall become brittle and broken as these bones. 

Rest the poppet on the contract paper, somewhere in the middle, and throw in the peppers and bones. You can break one or two of the bones if you wish for added effect. 

Wrap the poppet in the contract and tape/tie it up. Pierce with iron nails on either side. 

Shove the poppet in the box and add the sentry representations. It works best to add them as they appear in the room’s orientation but that’s optional.

Finish the inside of the box as you wish, and then seal the box. Wrap it up and tape/tie it together. 

Place the box somewhere near the main entrance as a sort of “detection” system. 

Leave the box and sentries out for as long as you desire, but do not stay in this “locked circuit” for too long or it may drain and weigh on you. Please, be careful! Only use this curse if it’s absolutely necessary. Add any rules/regulations/guidelines to the box before sealing it, and precautions if you need to redo/reopen the box (such as “only the one who seals this box may open it once more by un-crafting the spell in reverse”).

Feather-set’s “Black Box Hotel Curse” Part 2:  Watchful Sentries of the Hotel 

Basic protections established with the “Burning Paranoia” pouches, it is time to create sentries in order to “see,” to watch over the place that needs protecting. These guardians, however you make them, must be able to watch over every corner and inch of the space which you wish to protect and place under the lock of the Black Box Hotel Curse. Leave these sentries up for about a week prior to creating the actual box so that they can gain a feel/knowledge of the area to protect and how all should be before the curse is set up.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Depending on what sort of sentry you’d like, there are a number of things you may need. I used the sigil sentries option with a mix of poppet, which is featured above (poppet on the right, plus all of the sigils on my stuff; there are many more all over my room). 

For poppet sentries: clay, paper, or small scraps of cloth, each in various shades or colours 

For sigil sentries: a number of watchful sigils, pens, paper

Some way to connect these sentries to the box (extra clay, pen to write the sigils inside of the box, etc.)

WHAT TO DO

For the poppet sentries, make one for each corner of your space to be protected and place them in a spot where they are all able to see as much of the area to protect as possible.

For sigil sentries, write them everywhere. Put them on every wall, mirror, window, and in every corner. You want a lot more of these than poppets since they may not be as effective.
