I just finished reading stone ocean. I worked it out and I think it took somewhere between 6 and 10 and a half hours, not sure how fast that is, but it's probably too fast.

What about a show or something which shows somebody who thinks they're a hero, and it makes you think they're a hero, but actually they're a villain who just went wrong somewhere along the way. At the end they die and you get to see their realization at what they've done and it ends by just fading to black over their corpse and/or soul. I think that would be cool.
