This is my otherkin sideblog since my main blog is fandom related (@swordbird7) so I figured I would start posting here again. I am changeling, unseelie faekin, beastkin, as well as conceptkin for a few things (death, decay, the cycle of decomposition, forests, etc.) these are all part of one identity, but it’s hard to describe with just one label. I am also a therian! I am birdkin: common loon, and bearded vulture. I am a member of a system.

if youre going to claim kin terms, you're going to have to be an ally to the "weird" kinfolk btw. you have to be an ally to the kinfolk who believe that they really are their kintypes irl, in the flesh, etc. you have to be an ally to the kinfolk who are transitioning to better present as their kintypes. you have to be an ally to the kinfolk who adopt the instinctual behaviors of their kintypes. you gotta be an ally to the fictionkins. you have to be an ally to physical therians. if you can't support all kinfolk and their identities then you simply do not belong in this community.

I had another flying dream last night (they’re pretty common). Generally, I don’t actually have wings in the dreams, but the way I was able to do it was by jumping up and flapping my arms like a bird. So of course I woke up and have bad species dysphoria now :/

I made ink out of oak galls, water, white vinegar, rusty nails, and gum arabic!

I went to a trans pride picnic and there was a bunch of rose hips, lavender, and pineapple sage around the park so I foraged some and I am making a fermented soda!
