✨ This palace is neither located somewhere in the Orient nor the Far East but instead on the outskirts of Palermo. The Palazzina Cinese in the Sicilian capital was designed by architect Giuseppe Venanzio Marvuglia for King Ferdinando III of Sicily (later the First of Both Sicilies). Built at the turn of the 18th century, it draws inspiration from plenty of faraway countries. 🏛️ Tucked away in the lush gardens of the Favorita Park, this palace's layout is slightly unusual as the King's apartments (largely designed in the style of Chinoiserie) are located on the first floor, the Queen's apartments are on the third floor while the servants rooms are located in the second floor in between. | by castleholic
