The Rogue - Rewritten

So I had a book on ao3 called The Rogue, a Sanders Sides Superpowers AU. It did really poorly and overall I didn’t like how it was written. I’m rewriting it and the first chapter should be out in a week or so, but this what I have so far:

The Rogue - Rewritten

This is a world of Heroes and Villains. People who use their powers to keep the peace, to fight crime, and those who use their powers to commit the crimes. Heroes here work for the American Government, and they get a paycheck every month. However, some people wish to fight crime without the popularity of being an official Hero, without the public watching their every move, without needing to follow the stupid morals of the big leagues. These morally grey supers are called Anti-Heroes, Vigilantes. They do the work of heroes, but they aren't tied to any form of government. Said government deems them dangerous, since no one knows what they truly want. For all they know, some Vigilantes could be Villains in disguise. 

Well, all this 21 year old Vigilante wants to do is get to work on time, if that's not too much to ask. And some coffee. And maybe a new roommate.

Ok, so I was thinking, what if during the time that Gene blackmailed her, Aphmau realized that the Shadow Knights are pretty cool and ended up joining? So I wrote what would basically happen(in my opinion) here:

While Aphmau and Sasha talk Aph finds out that they have a lot in common and they become frenemies. Gene and Aphmau talk and they too have a bit in common. He likes how firey she is and thinks she’d be a good member. When he blackmails her into doing the Shadow Knight initiation (spray painting the Shadow Knight symbol), she just does it and then says “so I’m a Shadow Knight now?” and the guys just stand there like “woah” and Sasha just has a proud “I knew it” look because she and Aph are girls and they get each other.

Sasha/Aphmau, Dante/Zenix and Gene/Garroth?

Quick post: Why do women/girls look “better” in makeup?

It depends on the person really. If you’re talking about a friend that almost always wears a lot of makeup and one day you see them without, they look different. That doesn’t mean they look better with makeup on, that’s just the look you both are accustomed to.

If you’re talking about a friend that almost never wears makeup and one day you see them with it on, they look different! It just so happens that modern media has said that women/girls look better with makeup on and so many people will automatically assume that their friend looks better like this.

Makeup is art! If you like wearing it, if you’re talented at applying it, go for it! Whether you wear it for self confidence or just for aesthetic, go for it!

As long as you’re wearing it for YOU, not for your s/o or your friends or family, for YOURSELF.

And those are my thoughts on that.

Sanders Sides headcanons!

Logan is the tallest. The twins are second tallest, with Remus winning by only an inch, then Virgil, then Patton, and Janus is the shortest.

In the mindscape, their eyes change colour- Patton’s are sky blue, Logan’s stay the same but with the slightest hint of blue, Roman’s become honey coloured and sparkle like Anime eyes, Virgil has a purple eye and a green eye, both Janus’ eyes become amber like his snake one, and Remus’ eyes change between disturbing shades and yellow and green throughout the day.

Logan and Remus would conduct crazy experiments after Remus’ reveal. They both wanted to storm area 51- Logan for the knowledge and Remus for an alien pet. Since Logan is the only one who will put up with him and his intrusive thoughts at 1am, Remus will spend nights with Logan staying up and talking about meaningless but cool things like how jellyfish eat.

Janus the snake and Patton the frog will often sleep together on the couch. Virgil once walked in to find a yellow snake curled up with a grey hoodie-wearing frog. 

After Patton’s animal reveal, Virgil revealed his to be a spider. Now if you walk into the imagination, there’ll be a small pool area with an octopus playing with a frog, a sunbathing snake, and a watchful tarantula. Patton got over his initial fear by hugging spider Virgil. Hugs make everything okay.

Logan and Roman refuse to reveal their animals. Roman because he doesn’t know, Logan because it’s “amusing to hear your guesses”. They mostly agree that it’s a crow because of how much Logan seems to like flying. That and Roman compared Logan’s “FALSEHOOD”s to a crow’s cawing.

So I’m listening to wave noises as I paint my nails the usual black and I feel like a water spirit getting ready to go into the nearby village to seduce men and woman and drag them to my home under the crashing waves and it’s therapeutic.

Maybe the next time I have a breakdown I’ll turn on fireplace noises, light some candles, and pretend I’m an evil spirit coming to kill my mental disorders.

Caught the mosquito guys. It was in fact a jumping spider.

Just got out of the shower and sat down on my bed, saw something that looked suspiciously like a spider crawling on my wall. Sat there frozen for a good 2 minutes before realizing it was a mosquito. I can’t see it anymore and I’m honestly terrified. Guess I’m not sleeping tonight, but at least I know why I woke up with a mosquito bite this morning...
