ooooohh my two wives
pleasseeee come back in like a flashback or something you don't understand how much I loved them in these outfits
So my friends have made the terrible mistake of getting me hyperfixated to something from our childhoods... Anyway have some Aphmau art
Last time they saw eachother
Next time they see eachother
I personally believe Garroth should be allowed to process his emotions and trauma.
Going back to my roots…I miss her
"These eyes were never my curse…werewolves like you were"
Apparently I'm in a mood to talk about Ein and Aaron today.
I so wish that their conflict had been less about Aphmau and more about each other. Like yes, use Aphmau as a tool, a weapon to hurt Aaron, but don't make it about her.
Make it about Aaron siding with humans and pretending to be one, hiding among the oppressors to save himself and ignoring how werewolves are discriminated against.
Make it about Ein having an understandable reason to be hateful towards humans but becomes what he hates by hurting those who never hurt him purely because of their race.
Make it about Aaron hating himself for his curse and wrongfully believing that humans are right to fear and hate werewolves and werewolves should be controlled.
Make it about Ein's own trauma-fueled actions making everything worse and only proving to people that werewolves are violent and uncivilized and need to be kept on a tight leash.
Make it about Aaron being angry at Ein for hurting the one person he feels truly safe with and trying to stop her from "fixing" the culture of the werewolves, something even Aaron believes in.
Make it about Ein being angry at Aaron—who holds the bloodline of the werewolves' very progenitor—for siding with humans who oppress them and allowing the suffering and erasure of werewolves.
Make it about Aaron blaming Ein as the cause for Aaron's isolation and misery—for making people hate and fear them—instead of the existing system of hate and fear that created Ein.
Make it about Ein blaming Aaron for his own trauma and wanting Aaron to suffer like he has, with no understanding of what Aaron himself has gone through hiding this secret.
Make it about the contrast of Aaron being so deeply ashamed of his werewolf heritage that he tries to completely erase it and Ein being so intensely proud of his werewolf heritage that it becomes his entire identity that he desperately clings to.
Make it about how they live in a world that has turned them both into monsters—one unfairly labeled through fear and one unfortunately labeled through action.
Watching When Angels Fall.... Had to do it .... 😭

Lucinda practicing magic since she was a tiny little goblin and having a small business based completely around magic and her pride coming from her magic. Then losing her magic and essentially just being a normal person. Losing an integral piece of herself, and of what made her happy and proud of herself.
Zane never being the favorite and struggling to form bonds (unlike Garroth) and not seemingly having any unique or special qualities (unlike Vylad) so he prides himself and values himself in his intelligence, even hoping that one day it will let him take over the family business. Feeling like he's never good enough in Garte's eyes. And then losing a portion of his intelligence. (Or how I see it: his brain and processing got scrambled) And now having to partially rely on others to help him, despite already having difficulties with trusting people due to his upbringing.
Aaron being isolated his entire life and treated like a ticking time bomb by his father, then as an adult finally getting to form real connections and happy memories. Getting to have love and not be afraid he or his father will ruin it. Then being psychologically tortured by Michael, making him lose control and hurt people. And then losing his memories all the way back to high school, forgetting his friends, his independence, his fiance. Never knowing the more pleasant memories he got to form with his father, only remembering the dictator that controlled him, isolated him, shamed him.
TRAGIC
these two have been haunting me for the past 6 years. there will be more, they are ruining my life 💔
