Whedonverse meme: One Slayer Faith LehaneÂ
In my opinion Faith always knew she was better than her opponent no matter who she was fighting.
[pm] Five by five, B. Stayin’ with a friend.
[pm] If you’re sure. Anything happens, you call, okay?
[pm] Sure thing, B.
Fuffy - ParallelsÂ
[pm] Crap, can’t believe we didn’t find you. Look, you sure you’re okay? There’s a room for you in SHIELD if you need it.
[pm] Five by five, B. Stayin' with a friend.
Fuffy - Parallels
[pm] Yeah, well, glad I can provide that for you.Â
Were you inside when it happened?
[pm] Made it out fast enough. What happened to you after? There wasn’t a body, so I figured you got out.
[pm] Passed out and woke up in a hospital bed. Cinder block to the head'll do that to you.
slayer-summers replied to your post: [pm] Okay look, I know we're not the best of friends right now, I don't even know if you're okay, but if you are, I need a little help. The girls were scattered by the explosion, if you know where any of them are, please help them. All I'm asking.
[pm] Thanks, Faith. I, uh, kinda need you to be okay right now. Everything’s just fucked up, and you’re a constant for me. Even if we try to kill each other most of the time.
[pm] Yeah, well, glad I can provide that for you.Â

[pm] Were we ever?
Yeah, I know. Met a few, sent them SHIELD’s way. Thanks for askin’, by the way, but I’m fine. Five by five. You?

Faith Lehane + My Emotions [Requested by Anonymous]
Angel and Faith have been and will always be my favorite OTP of any series, but I don’t mean that in the typical, romantic way. I see their love as strictly platonic, and I love that the Angel and Faith series captures that relationship in a way that I never felt was completely explored or addressed in either ATS or BTVS. The chemistry between them as just being close friends, to me, is more rewarding than the romantic relationship Angel had with Buffy.
They Broke Your Throne And They Cut Your Hair|| Solo
Beep.Â
Her head was pounding.
Beep.
She felt like there was cotton stuffed in her mouth.
Beep.
Her legs felt as if they were made of lead.
Beep.
Her arms, too.
Beep.
And what the hell was that stupid beeping noise?
She hated it, she wanted it to stop. Was it her alarm clock or something? Had she overslept? She reached over and swatted with her hand, but hit nothing. Huh, weird.
Opening her eyes slowly, the light that filtered in penetrated her vision like blurry beams being shone directly at her. She winced and closed them again, then slowly tried again on three. This time, the light wasn't so harsh. Everything was still blurry and all the noises around her sounded like they were being filtered through a thick blanket. Blinking, she scrubbed her hand across her eyes, trying to wipe away the blurriness. It helped a little. She rubbed her forehead, then the side of her head. Shook herself a bit. There was a ringing in her ears.
Beep.
That noise. That fucking noise! Her eyes landed on something next to the bed. Okay, she definitely wasn't in her own room, or anyone's room who she recognized. Not Angel's, not Lexie's-- Shit.Â
Everything came slamming back to her suddenly, like a freight train crashing into her head. Slayer HQ blowing up, being inside, watching it happen. Cement chunks falling on top of people. Screams. More explosions. Death. And then blackness. And Lexie. Lexie had been under it all, cooped up in that stupid cage. Faith had been on her way to settle into her new-old apartment at Hq then go visit her wolfy girlfriend when everything had happened. One thing right after the other. First the walls. Then the ceilings. Then everything all at once. Lexie was still under there. Had anyone found her? Had anyone tried to find her?Â
No. No, they hadn't. Because she woulda been there. Woulda been right next to Faith's bed, wherever she was, if they had. No way Lex would have let her wake up alone. Right?
She was alone. Just like when she'd woken up from her coma. No one sitting beside her bed, no one waiting hand and foot on her. When Lucy was hospitalized, Lexie had never left her side. Not even Angel was there. She was...so alone.
It didn't matter right now. What mattered was finding Lexie. She reached over to yank the blankets off of her-- but nothing happened. Literally, nothing. Her arm didn't even move. That's when she realized there was an I.V. in her right arm. Maybe some of her was just still numb from the drugs, yeah, that had to be it. Plus, her arm had been out of commission for a while now. They must have brought her to the hospital after the explosion-- she had been caught in the middle of it, after all. How long had it been? Surely not too long. Maybe a few hours? Whatever, she'd figure that out later, too. She had to get back over there right now. Had to tell someone about Lexie in the basement. Had to get to her girlfriend, the one person that mattered most to her right now.
She tried to reach over again to tear out the I.V., but, again, her left arm didn't move. Strange. Reaching over with her right, she went to grab it-- but grasped nothing. Just air and then cloth. Woah, weird. She shook her head hard again, trying to clear up her vision. Looked down at her arm, except...there was no arm to look down at. We need to amputate.
There was no arm. Her left arm was...gone. It was gone.Â
Oh god, it was gone.Â
"No..." she breathed, the words getting caught in her throat. They took it. They didn't even ask. It was fine. It was gonna heal. She was a Slayer, it was gonna heal. And they took it. Without even asking. They took it. "No, no, no, NO!" she hissed, tears stinging her eyes. Tears? Faith didn't cry. Faith never cried. "NO! NO, NO, NO!" she was screaming now, writhing. She lifted her right arm and grabbed the I.V. tube with her teeth ripping it out. Blood poured from the open hole, she tasted it on her lips. She had to get out of there before they took something else. Before they ruined her further. Maybe...maybe she could get it back. Maybe it hadn't been too long, they could sew it back on. They did that with toes and fingers and stuff, right? It wasn't too late. They needed to fix her. They broke her and now they needed to fix her.
Doctors were rushing in, nurses coming towards her, but there must have been hate written across her face because they all stopped dead in their tracks, a good three feet from her. She clenched and unclenched her one fist. One fist. Not two. Just one. Because they took her other. And now they were trying to take Lexie from her, too. That must be it. These doctors were evil, they were working for the other side. They had kidnapped her and taken her arm and now they were trying to keep her here so that they could take Lexie from her, too.Â
She wouldn't let them.
Screaming out, she picked up the lamp on the bedside table and smashed it into the nearest nurse's face, shoving her out of the way. The other nurse in the corner ran to her aid and Faith kicked them both aside, barreling for the door. The doctor stepped between her and she wound back her one fist and smashed it straight into his face, then laid a heavy shoulder into his stomach, knocking him down, flat on his back. She leapt over him and stormed through the hospital. She was still in a hospital gown, but it didn't matter. She tore through the lobby and out into the street. Sirens blared behind her, but she ducked down an alley. Someone tapped her on the shoulder, but they were laid out flat before they could even get a word in. Without hesitating, Faith stripped them of their clothes, and swapped them out for her gown. They were boy's clothes, but they worked just fine. Although getting them on wasn't exactly the easiest.Â
Satisfied for now, she headed through the back alleys towards any sort of building she recognized. The bubbling black smoke in the air gave away SHQ's location easily, and Faith headed straight for it. No one stopped her. She strode straight up to the rubble and towards someone who looked like they knew what they were doing and grabbed them with her one arm and held them tightly. "The basement cages," she growled. "Have you checked the basement cages? Was there anyone down there? Did you get them out? Where are they now?" The man looked utterly baffled, so Faith shook him. "TELL ME!" she shouted and he flinched.Â
"The entire building has been searched a-and cleared," he squeaked out. "We're just doing rubble clean up now. All bodies and survivors were found yesterday."
Yesterday? Faith didn't have time to question him. She let him go. Lexie wasn't there. That was clearly the only answer, Lexie hadn't been in the building when the explosions had happened. Or maybe she had but she'd gotten out in time. Maybe the wolf had taken off and now she was god knows where.
But she wasn't in the building.Â
Her eyes fell on the multitude of body bags littering the streets. She had to. She had to check.Â
But she wasn't in any of the body bags.
Relief flooded her. Worry flooded her. "Where the hell are you, Lex?" she gaped, kicking at a brick on the ground. It rolled and stopped in front of someone sitting in the back of an ambulance. Faith looked at her for a moment, watched as her eyes fell on her missing arm. She turned that side of her body away from her. "What?" she hissed. The girl shook her head.Â
"Are you looking for someone?" she asked.Â
Faith bit her tongue. "Aren't we all?"Â
"I just...I saw you looking through the body bags, and then I saw how happy you were they weren't in one," she commented. Faith blinked.
"I don't know where she is," she said plainly. "She was supposed to be in the cages downstairs."Â
The girl perked up. "I think I know where she is."
Faith whirled on her. "And how the hell would you know?" she spat. "Y'don't even know who I'm lookin' for!"
The girl shook her head. "No, I don't know her name or who you are or who she is to you, but I know where she is. I took her there. I was in the basement with her when the explosions started. She was locked up in a cage and I let her out and drove her to a local train yard. I locked her up in one of the carts so she could change. I came back here to wait for someone to go find her with. She's a werewolf, right?"
Lexie. Faith rushed over to the girl, grabbing her with her one arm. "Take me there!" she said with a hurried breath. "Take me to her! Now!"
The girl almost stumbled over herself as she stood up. She looked at Faith with weary eyes. "Isn't she still--?"
"Now!"
