Thought I was done making fanart for @pendragonsgallery Asterism and my brain laughed at me.

In honor of the end of Arc II 🥺 Drew these while listening to the Johnny Cash version of I Won't Back Down, and if that song doesn't sum up Lance during this entire story then I don't know what does.

some half-baked thoughts on transhumeral amputations and werewolf physiology under the cut

I tried finding literature on postural changes post-transhumeral amputation but could only find mentions of it happening in relation to warning about fall risks pre prosthesis-fitting. So I made some educated guesses and drew his left shoulder a little high bc as the rotator cuff deteriorates (which i'm assuming it would without proper usage), the humerus migrates upwards in its socket as the deltoid then becomes the primary force exerter across the glenohumeral joint - further exacerbated by the trapezius shortening from the lack of weight pulling the shoulder down. Also assuming there'd be some 'quick, vague werewolf healing' shenanigans but for Extra Psychic Damage let's say they needed to cauterize the wound afterwards (◡‿◡✿)

Going back to the 'how tf is the woundhealing supposed to work' as in is it just a sped-up process (no new tissue can be generated for wounds going beneath the epithelial layer, resulting in scarring) or is it more of a returning the physiology to a certain stage? Certainly interesting to imagine how an amputation would work. Guessing they wouldn't go the DeadPool gnarly limb-regrowth route lol

The first “Small Time Ripple” has begun. Donnie creates the Donnie-Pods after realizing, for the first time, that missions can go catastrophically wrong.

Meanwhile, Future Leo wakes up from a dream he can’t fully place; fragments of a past that may or may not belong to him, overlapping with the sound of his present-day brother’s voice.

Next up: Page 1 of Chapter 1, set in the future timeline.
