Mental health awareness is so important. Often I hear people talk about anxiety and depression like it's a fad, while those who actually suffer from it fear from talking about it at all. Luckily awarness and understanding has grown exponentially since I was a teenager when my depression was at it's worst. Understanding yourself and how to self care is incredibly valuable. I moved away from the only place I've ever known and it has been such a mental struggle to feel solid on my own feet. But with struggle I know there is growth. It is so easy to fall into that hole of emptiness even if you have people who care about you. Awareness allows people around you see that it is normal and ok to feel depressed, just how it creates a conversation for those who need help. Spread awareness, listen to those who ask for help and be kind. ✨ #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #depression
