So, I’m not sure if I really accomplished your art-style or not, or if I just managed to do my own in a slightly different way, but I tried my best to incorporate lots of details of your pictures, like your backgrounds and speech bubbles. So I hope you like it!

Looking forward to trying out more of these, so to the rest of you: feel free to send in some more!

I think you did a really good job! SSD keeps it pretty simple and overall id say its hard to spot the differences! Also thanks @equinox-the-entity for the reccomendation!

Venus@Dart: "So you do wrestling? As a hobby or for a living?" The meowth's tone was mildly curious. She eyes the bird up and down. "Better yet, have you actually won any trophies or are you all flash and no fight?" There was snark to her tone as she tried to see exactly what Dart was made of. "Or do you just like beating up your friend here in your free time and call it a sport?"

It IS more of a hobby to me these days, but for YOUR information, I have in fact won about 3 trophies in the past! But… I stopped competing like that because it was getting less fun. So yeah, i’m certainly as much fight just as I am flash!

He DOES beat me up sometimes though.

Well why wrestle with me if you know you’re gonna lose, silly?

Venus@Aisling: "Hey your a Xatu! I've heard about your kind. You guys can see the future and like to stare at the sun like sunflora!" The feline laughs a bit. "Since you and the rest of your palies run some kinda rescue operation or whatever, what do you know about the future of your team? Are you all gonna have a happy end? Or will it all just fall apart?" Her expression changes with the last line. There is a nasty glint in her eye,like she knows something will happen.

“Yes, we Xatu have that power and I suppose my teammates have needed to get used to not worrying when I stare at the Sun…”

A slight, hesitant pause.

“As for our future of our team in specific, I tend to not look further than the mission we are on. Such knowledge will tend to cause bad results by attempting to avoid what was seen.”

“Even if there is worry about what may come, we will face it. Together.”

Cipher @ Venus: "Taking care of ghost children sure is a pain in the rear if you can't control them with psychic moves. Have you tried explaining this to your friend?"

“Titus just told me to suck it up. I can’t wait till our trainer gets back so we can actually figure out what to do here. Plus she has her usual team with her that just so happens to have a psychic type in it. Once they get back they can tame this kid.” Venus says motioning to Carmine. The small ghost simply gazes up innocently. “While we have a psychic like you at home…..he isn’t really in the mood to help.”

Suddenly Venus’s expression changes to a coy grin. “You are a psychic type. You could easily catch this munchkin if they tried to zoom off. How about we make a deal? You want to be a parent?” She asks, motioning to Carmine.

Cipher scratches his head and chuckles nervously.

“Sorry miss but I don’t have any experience with ghost children, or any children for that matter…”

“I’m just not the right psychic type for this job I’m afraid.”

Venus just sighs and shrugs before turning around.”It was worth a shot anyways. If you see any pokemon that look like they could be this kids parents give me a call. Last thing I need is to be haunted or some bull all because we have a ghost kid.”

I had a reply but sai crashed before I had it saved, so have a warmup Carmine while I re-work it!

I also realized that it’s past the one year anniversary of this blog lol. After the reset all the old posts were taken down. Here’s to a better year I suppose!

Moon doesn't get the appeal of these contests Venus is talking about, but she mist have been good at them. "So you won these because others thought you were the prettiest? What do you do now that you're older and less pretty?" Moon that is rude.

“Um…well yes I won because I was the best for the fit! But my age has nothing to do with my looks!” Venus lets out a nervous laugh.”You are taking it the wrong way. I am not that ol-” A childs voice cuts Venus off mid-sentence.

There is silence for a solid minute. You can see Venus visibly struggling to keep her composure.

“I am not even 30 yet. I don’t do well competing because there is a bias for younger mon. I am still far better looking and qualified to win than ANY younger mon. No more questions about my age or looks now.” She rambles out fast, then snags Carmine out of the air.

“We are giving you back to Titus. No complaints. lets go you little angel…” Any cheerfulness in Venus’s voice sounds very forced. She turns tail and walks off with the ghost child in her arm line one would hold a duffel bag.

Bo just stared in front of her, almost as if she couldn’t see or hear the small ghost talking to her. Everything felt.. Numb.

@askbellboyant | Chime can’t help but overhear Carmine’s conversation from the distance. “Sophisticated? Tch.” Chime struts over to the angered alolan meowth and with a sneer, “Rumor has it that you’re a sophisticated contest queen.” She sits, poised. “You don’t look,” emphasis on look, “sophisticated nor queenly to me, dearie. Just a swollen alolan meowth” She sways her tail and sneers again with her nose crinkled, puffing her chest out. “Now, I, for a prime example, AM a contest queen.”

“Now I mean to brag when I say that I have my doubts you are truly a QUEEN if you don’t have a contest star ribbon dear~ This took me quite some time to get in my paws and I must say I am beyond proud of it.” Venus smugly says with a rather devilish grin.

“I have the purrfect face for getting out of any trouble I get in~ One of the many quirks to being as darling as myself~!” Venus coyly replies before switching tone. “But I am sorry to say that it is not really top priority of my trainer to preform every time a contest is hosted. She has for too much work to do for that.”

Cipher follows the Alolan Meowth intending to ask the reason behind their outrage. "Uhh excuse me, you seem to be bickering to yourself over there. What are you angry about if I may ask?"

“The kids a bit of a shit. My friend who found ‘em thinks its hilarious to let the kid zip circles around me and let me chase them. Driving me nuts.” She flatly replies. “Have you ever had a pokemon just VWOOP, right through you? Feels real weird man. Cold and fucken weird.”

“I cant tame this kid. I don’t like kids, never wanted kids, but somehow I let myself get roped in to baby-sitting AGAIN. That’s like 3 times in the week we have had the “little bundle of joy”.How the hell to you catch a ghost? How do you tame some wild ghost kid?” She rants, moving to a sitting position. She continues in this manner for a bit.

Hey, who was that you were watching? They looked angry...

Carmine motions in the general direction of the screaming.

“I dunno if she’s really angry or not. She’s always loud and yells a lot.”

Carmine floats up silently behind the Meowth.

In a flash the meowth turns around with the intent to grab the child, only for them to turn into a wisp.

Carmine quickly zips through the meowth, leaving the poor meowth to crumble to the ground.

Carmine returns to the safety behind some bushes.

“See, just a prank! She usually rolls around and yells! It’s funny!” 

Sorta questionable fun, but Carmine seems happy.
