"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can."

"He experienced the singular pleasure of watching people he loved fall in love with other people he loved."
― a little life.
"You won’t understand what I mean now, but someday you will: the only trick of friendship, I think, is to find people who are better than you are—not smarter, not cooler, but kinder, and more generous, and more forgiving—and then to appreciate them for what they can teach you, and to try to listen to them when they tell you something about yourself, no matter how bad—or good—it might be, and to trust them, which is the hardest thing of all. But the best, as well."

Loss.
A known absence. If you did not know it, it would be nothing, which it is, of course, a nothing of another kind, as acutely felt as a blister, but a tumult, too, in the region of the heart and lungs, an emptiness with a name: You.
- the summer without men.
I was okay just a moment ago. I'll learn how to be okay again.
"Sorry," I shrug. "I guess I dissapeared for a minute."
"Well," she says. "You've gotten good at that."
— we are okay.
— Estamos Bem, Nina LaCour
O positivismo me enlouquece e o negativismo me mata, o que me resta?
estamos bem
SOUL (2020)
"We only have a short time on this planet. You want to become the person that you were born to be. Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life. Spend your precious hours doing what will bring out the real you. The brilliant passionate you, that’s ready to contribute to something meaningful into this world."
"A spark isn't a soul's purpose."
"Don’t worry, you can’t crush a soul here. That’s what life on earth is for."
"Life is full of possibilities. You just need to know where to look. Don’t miss out on the joys of life."
"I wonder if there's a secret current that connects people who have lost something. Not in the way that everyone loses something, but in the way that undoes your life, undoes your self, so that when you look at your face it isn't yours anymore."
it was painful to let you go. please don't come back.
"What he knew, he knew from books, and books lied, they made things prettier."
— a little life.
"dear today,
i spend all of you pretending i'm okay when i'm not, pretending i'm happy when i'm not, pretending about everything to everyone."
— hold still.
"they never slept, they never stopped, they were terrified to be alone, to have to ask themselves who they were. "
— a little life.
